  1. A true meal for champions and stable genius minds.
  2. Trump thanks you and your $15,000 PR check is on the way. Maybe. He does have a bad habit of not paying his people.
  3. They would be discussing the infamous mushroom for years to come. Have you even seen anything like that? Very alien.
  4. But why even spend all this money on this costly research when you can just eat a Trump-style McDonald's diet and remain healthy your entire life?
  5. The Brain Drain has been going on for a long time due to the antiquated quota system that we have in place, but there's no question that Trump is going to make it a lot worse with his anti-immigrant, anti foreigner rhetoric. We don't want you we don't need you, Americans are so smart.
  6. Any person or institution that stands up to the Goomba, is demonstrating a tremendous amount of courage and moral conviction, in the face of utter and total moral bankruptcy. And though I am no fan of China's government nor the CCP I have tremendous admiration for the way they're standing up to Trump's utterly ridiculous and completely reckless policies. They will beat Trump, which is not a difficult thing to do, and he is going to be paying a huge price for his hubris, arrogance and overestimation of America's place in the world.
  7. They certainly don't like anyone who picks on or criticizes the Goon, or anyone associated with the Goon Squad.
  8. Yeah, on a certain level it's almost as weird as a sex robot or a sex toy.
  9. Regardless of what the posted speed limit is 120 on a four-lane divided highway, with good road conditions is perfectly safe.
  10. There is a reason why the police here are so universally disregarded and disrespected and considered to be fairly useless. The RTP at it's inception seems to have been created with a status quo from the government. We will NOT pay you a living wage, but you have a franchise, and the limit of your income is based solely on your own creativity and initiative, and you will always be protected. Is that not the case? So, why would they pay attention to a case where there is no money to be made? Are they out finding government officials who are engaged in massive corruption, drug trafficking or sex slavery? No. Why? Because those goons are protected. Are they patrolling the highways to find reckless drivers? No. Why? Because they do not care one iota about traffic safety. It is all lip service.
  11. Mr. Trump you're a great guy so smart, and very handsome. OK, we now have a trade deal? Easier than I thought.
  12. Is it safe to say that Thailand has some of the most ignorant security people on the planet? They're constantly doing and saying things that are just beyond the pale. Picking on old ladies has to be a new low, even for them.
  13. I wonder if they could explain to us how she is considered to be a changemaker, when change indicates progress and very few of us are seeing anything that even resembles progress here. She's just simply a proxy for the dinosaurs. The second aspect of this that's quite incredible is that they're honoring someone who was not democratically elected, quite a bit of shame and dishonor in that.
  14. I'm not often in agreement with Muslim custom but I think that refraining from eating pork is probably one of the smartest rituals they have. Why would you want to eat any animal that feasts on its own feces?
  15. Well I guess it comes as no surprise to most of us that the officials can be bribed here, so where does the responsibility fall? On tour guides who simply take advantage of the system or on corrupt Thai officials who will do anything for money? The other thing that comes to mind is just how many Thais are fluent in Russian or Azerbaijani or Hungarian?
  16. Nowhere else in the world have I seen people consistency take the kinds of chances and risks in the road, that they take here, with their whole families in the car. Nowhere. When they could have waited three seconds to make the uturn or turn onto the highway, and have a completely clear path, they instead choose to take a tremendous risk by cutting right in front of me, while I am doing 120kph. It is beyond comprehension. I see it all the time. My eyes do not lie to me. This rarely ever happens to me in the US. If I decide to cut you off on a highway, when you are going 120kph, and I am making a u-turn, and there was plenty of room behind you for me to make a safe turn, is that an error, if it results in a horrific, fatal accident, and I take the lives of you and your family? Sometimes an error is wearing white after Labor day in New York City. And sometimes an error is invading Russia before the oncoming winter. I don't make the kind of errors that result in bad accidents, much less fatalities. Why? Because I am very, very careful on the road, and very, very respectful of other drivers, their lives, and those of their families. That is a choice that results in NOT making very many terrible mistakes. It most certainly has something to do with the inability to visualize. Neither the future, nor the hypothetical. What will happen in this scenario? What about this? What about that? What are the inherent risks involved in piloting my bike, car or truck onto the safety lane of a major highway, in the wrong direction, with big trucks coming at me at 100kph? Or onto a lane of a major highway, with oncoming traffic going 120kph? Is it worth sacrificing my life, or my ability to walk for the rest of my life? How will my death affect my kids? Hold on, what about the lives of my wife, kids and sister who are in the vehicle with me, and I am responsible for their safety. Wow. That would be a big loss. An entire family. Maybe I should act like an adult, and be prudent and careful.
  17. She does come across as a bit of a nitwit, and no question that she's a major butt kisser attempting to defend ridiculous policy, it tends to make her look pretty ridiculous at times, and often she gets backed into a corner and she just starts reciting silly slogans to back up her position. Plus she is highly intolerant like her goombah boss. I don't think she's all that talented and I don't think she's a particularly good press secretary.
  18. There's no question that this guy is somewhere on the spectrum, as he does seem to be quite a misfit. It is the cruelness he exhibits that is most alarming, and most peculiar. He seems to have a certain level of glee in regard to destroying careers and putting people out of work, and that's just downright vicious and nasty. As he's gotten more wealthy, he seems to have gotten more out of touch with humanity, and he seems to have become a lesser man.
  19. Every once in awhile an incident happens that compels people to debate the moral fabric of Thai Society and there always ends up being an element of fake purity to the whole dialogue. Instead, they should be focusing their efforts on traffic and public safety, easing import tariffs, making visa policy simpler, and more friendly, boosting Western tourism (of that is even possible at this late stage, after spending ten years sabotaging the industry), real crackdowns on slavery, illegal fishing (instead of nonsensical hyperbole), and police corruption, cleaning up the water, the air, the rivers, and the beaches, and other things that actually improve lives.
  20. He is a total social misfit, and is not wearing his wealth, nor his power lightly. Musk appears to have extremist tendencies. I am hoping he goes on one of his Mars missions, but we all know he does not have nearly enough courage for something like that. I have respect for his achievements, but zero respect for the small man. He's a completely ridiculous man, the more wealthy he's become the more obnoxious he's become, the more arrogant he's become, the more self-righteous and the more insufferable. Trump made a tremendous mistake by giving him more power than he already had, and time will reveal what a tragic decision that was. Boycott Tesla, don't buy anything that he is associated with, knock him off his pedestal, bring him back down to earth, try to knock some sense into his absolutely foolish head, and take some pride in doing the right thing and helping America.
  21. Exactly the same thing could be said about Trump and MAGA.
  22. No. China holds most of the cards, and there are multiple ways they could cripple the US. And Trump is handing them a golden opportunity to become the moral authority, now that this no longer exists in the US under Trump. The degree to which he is miscalculating this equation could take decades to read, and by then the US will be fairly irrelevant. Which may be a good thing. To say the arrogant goon has over reached would be a staggering understatement.
  23. Excellent result. Common sense prevails. No woman would survive more than 30 minutes in the NFL. Women will not participate in men's sports because they won't be able to handle the physical endurance required, nor the brutality, nor would they have the required speed. A woman ranked #5 on the WTA could not beat a #758 ranked man on the ATP as John McEnroe so truthfully stated. Hopefully all this craziness will pass and we'll return to some form of normalcy and indecency. The term first appeared in the Marxist-Leninist vocabulary following the Russian Revolution (really, a coup) of 1917 to describe strict adherence to policies and principles of the Soviet Union’s Communist Party. “Political correctness” was invented by the communists to camouflage the truth about events and policies in the Soviet Union that had resulted in mass murders, the starvation of millions, and slave labor camps. It was “politically incorrect” to reveal such facts; the “party line” was for all loyal communist party members to promote the same “politically correct truths” about the “good life” under totalitarian government. https://www.telegram.com/news/20200114/roberta-schaefer-history-of-political-correctness-and-why-its-gone-way-too-far
  24. He is having great success in making America less relevant and encouraging the world to spurn their arrogance and stunning levels of ignorant.
  25. Everything is changing, the entire planet is shifting and you just simply have to adapt or die. They are definitely trying to attract a higher caliber tourist however they're not having much luck and the wealthy and the super rich continuing to avoid Thailand for a dozen good reasons, none of which are being addressed. But it is true they don't want the desperately poor backpackers anymore.
