  1. As well he should. This is a huge betrayal of the public, and billions have been invested presuming the government would be earnest. I suppose that was too much to ask of the goon squad. Backwards movement has defined PT and Srettha. They have failed.
  2. You asked. Here is what Trump has done for America!: Only 13 Presidents failed to get re-elected. Only 5 Presidents failed to win the popular vote. Only 4 Presidents have been impeached or resigned. Only 1 President has ever been criminally indicted. And only ONE President has done ALL FOUR. - DJT didn't lower taxes (He deferred them) He didn't get Americans that healthcare coverage He did not unite the USA, he divided it He didn't lower prescription drug prices He didn't get roads or bridges built He didn't decrease the deficit He didn't end the opioid crisis He made over 250 visits to his golf clubs costing us taxpayers $150 million He didn't revive the coal industry He didn't make covid-19 'disappear' He didn't make Mexico pay for the wall He is ranked the 44th worst President in history He added $2 Billion a month in tariff costs to the American consumer He had a net-negative jobs creations for his administration He decreased corporate taxes, passing the tax burden to the workers and he added $ 7.8 Trillion to the deficit - a full 25% of the total deficit He incited an insurrection against our government He is the only president to never achieve 50% approval He didn't put "America first" and he sure didn't "Drain the Swamp... He left office with the worst job numbers of any President since the Great Depression with a net job loss over his term He is the first former president to be a CONVICTED FELON (34 times). The presidency is very much about character. Trump is a lowlife convicted felon.
  3. My question is this. If the extremely toxic and dangerously timid army were unwilling to take any risks whatsoever, with regard to Covid, why are they spending 22 billion baht now on submarines? Obviously there is some risk in operating subs, and even more risk if as they say, they are purposed to protect against terrorist threats and any threat in the South China Sea. The real budget is more like 13 billion baht for the first S26T Yuan Class sub, and the real cost for the subsequent two? The Brits would not make this up and denial is the M.O. of the CCP. The Chinese ships and subs are likely poorly made. Thankfully the Chinese navy is incapable of traveling more than 1,500 km., in ideal conditions. Likely more like 600 km. in war conditions. And they have very few deep sea ports. Their navy is a threat only to their smaller neighbors. Thai naval forces have not operated submarines for over 60 years now, while neighboring countries, particularly those with a major dispute at sea with Thailand, such as Vietnam, are all equipped with modern submarines. Looks like they are willing to take a huge risk with the treasury. Why were they so timid with Covid? Because: This government is a whirlpool of conflicting loyalties and interests. It's leader has to manage those interests, and effectively buy the loyalties of the various parts of the armed forces. The submarines are the price he has to pay for the navy supporting him. They will end up unusable and unaffordable, as did the aircraft carrier. There is no strategic justification for the submarines. There is really no military threat to Thailand, none of the countries with which it shares a land border have the capacity for anything other than the occasional cross border firefight. If you look carefully at all the military procurement of recent years, they are all to support ambitions, and thus buy the support of the various rival groups within the armed forces. They simply do not add up to any sort of a coherent modernisation or re-equipment of what remains a largely obsolete, immobile and under trained force, able only to undertake the most mundane of garrison duties, whilst it's bloated leadership occupies itself with playing politics or their own largely unregulated business ventures. The government however (or more realistically those to whom it reports) must rely upon the military to keep it in power. It was put into power for one core function; to prevent the nascent political, social and economic liberalisation of Thai society which arose with the arrival of new technologies and communications, which have allowed a (younger) population which has long been kept ill educated and dependent for any advancement on its elders and sponsors, to communicate, educate themselves and develop business independent of those elders and sponsors. The Covid crisis was in a dimension beyond that, and it's timid, chaotic "rabbit in the headlights" response to the challenges it brought were simply because it did not know how to react, other than to use some of the opportunities to exercise power, in pursuit of that core function, which the social and political restrictions they argue the disease has necessitated, and granted them.
  4. I guess fundamentally I would have to agree with you, I feel anyone is better than Huge Don, but I really don't like her. And Biden is way, way too old. So is Trump. And he is at least half senile, and definitely insane.
  5. Sorry to say this, but anyone who asks a question like that has either not been paying attention, is a strict devotee of the master, or does not know anything about the man's history.
  6. Oh yes, do some research on her, look at her record as district attorney in San Francisco, and as attorney general in California, she is very scary.
  7. She would absolutely blow away any opponent as you saw in the original debates, she's very sharp and it's likely her IQ is at least 50 points higher than Trump. I don't like her at all but she is smart.
  8. I don't even know why anyone goes to Phuket, other than the Andaman sea I just don't see the allure, certainly not anymore. Was first there in 1976. No resorts. A few bungalows on the beaches. Beachfront land was 1,000 baht a rai. They could not give it away. It was gorgeous. Went back in 1986. Had developed alot. Still very nice. Again in 1993. Far more development. Still amazing. Azure seas. Spectacular women everywhere. Great food. Did not return until around 2008. It was degraded, for the most part. But, still decent. It still had some good nightlife. Again a few years ago. Then again last year. Nearly all the tourists were low spending Arabs, Malaysians, Chinese, and Russians. No need to ever return. The charm is lost. The over development is stunning. The prices were crazy. The nightlife is now horrible. Fairly confined to Bangla in Patong, (which is a blight on the planet) and it was very low quality, at stupid prices. They seem to stay busy in the high season with foreigners, but my belief is that very few Thais have any interest in visiting Phuket for a dozen good reasons. Same applies to Samui. There were countless issues, long before Covid, and NONE of them were being addressed. This administration is very regressive, and reactionary, and not the visionary and progressive leadership Thailand desperately needs now.
  9. As well they should be fussy, if I was on a tour (which I would never be on to begin with) and they told me that I must purchase something from this store, I can't even imagine what my reaction would be, but it wouldn't be very dignified, I would not be cooperative in the slightest, and I would probably be banned from ever taking a tour again, which would be fine by me. And I would likely go out of my way to discourage other people on the tour from patronizing that shop. Enemy #1! He is not cooperative. He is not a lemming. LOL.
  10. Yeah, the primary issue is that they need the funds already in place so if Biden was replaced it would likely be Harris. However though misogyny and racism may have it something to do with the way some people feel, alot of moderate dems dislike her too, because of the level of gross incompetence that she's demonstrated during her entire career as district attorney in San Francisco, as Attorney General in California, and as vice president, she's done a really dreadful job, and is deeply unpopular. I think she could win a debate against Trump and would trounce him in a debate, because he doesn't have much of an intellect and she does, but I don't think she could win the general election.
  11. Open legs, open arms. Come and get us. We are open for business, and we are not fussy about customers! We are desperados.
  12. Have you tried a neti pot? Clearing the sinuses like that seems to help when all esle fails.
  13. The economy is just starting to show signs of distress, both here and overseas, and the extent of the upcoming correction is going to be massive. The vast majority of people just do not see it coming. I talk to people about stock picks and they have no concept of what's coming, and yet people as conservative as Warren Buffett are predicting a 40% drop in the DOW within the next 6 months, and have cashed out. That's how bad things are and that's how overblown and over inflated the economy has become. Get ready. Have as much cash handy as possible.
  14. Whether or not he deserves the current level of excoriation is very debatable, however he did become the primary advocate for "the narrative", and Big Pharma, there were so many aspects of the narrative that were questionable and very debatable. And likely untrue.
  15. I think that's a great idea, and I think it would show that neither man is up for the job. At a minimum Trump is semi senile, and insane, and there's no doubt that Biden is too old for the job. In an ideal world they would both be replaced with competent leaders and far younger far more vital candidates. Instead we're stuck with a madman who could possibly be the most dangerous person on the planet, and a very old man who is no longer up for the job, and who has a running mate who is hugely unpopular and very scary. A very sad moment in America and the world.
  16. There is nothing striking about this, the people regard Move Forward (and Pita) as the only party that has an interest in progress, reform, and forward movement. Something that the other creeps resist with every nanogram in their being. Srettha is the antithesis of progress, and PT has declined into a moral morass of utter depravity.
  17. There are some very toxic forces at work, and there are some very toxic individuals that would need to be moved out of the way, in order for Thailand to truly progress as a society, move forward, and rid itself of some of the obstacles that are really holding it back.
  18. It likely depends on the size of the island, I used to live on Samui and I needed to get off the island every 2 weeks, or I would start going crazy. But that is a very small island and a change of horizon always proved to be very healthy. I think that likely applies to nearly anywhere someone is living, but more so on an island.
  19. One would hope in an ideal world that these men are eventually brought to task, tried, convicted, and jailed for robbing the treasury on a chronic basis. However we all know that the armed forces here have been given way too much power for way too long, and they have been nothing more than a vampire, sucking the blood and the treasure of society, and giving nothing in return.
  20. The Bratva at work in Thailand? They were invited into Thailand by Srettha, with an open legs visa policy. Not smart.
  21. I had some significant sinus issues years back and after doing a significant battery of tests my doctor said everything came back negative and I had likely developed an allergy to pollution. Was it worse when the air was really filthy here, back in April and May?
  22. No question, he is one of the most brilliant minds of the last century. He easily surpasses Einstein, Shweitzer, Hawking, Sagan, Nabakov, and Oppenheimer. He is a sage, who can see the future and remember the past. His brain is huge.
  23. He has 1,127 followers on Instagram and under 100 on Facebook. Not exactly a superstar. Very few Russians are. Perhaps only in his own mind.
  24. This convicted felon had very little credibility to begin with, but I would say he has zero credibility at this point, so anything he says is bound to be a lie, and he can never be believed or trusted, under any circumstances. This is just one of the things that would make him an incredibly dangerous president. His lack of sincerity and integrity is legendary. That is just who and what he is.
  25. There are many things that could be causing this, the very first thing I would look at is food allergies, and the possibility that you are allergic to dairy. If you are eating much in the way of cheese, cream, yogurt or milk I would look at that first. Try eliminating that and see if you're sinuses clear up. Second thing I'd look at is allergies, and the possibility that your allergies are creating sinusitis.
