PM Srettha’s billion-baht plan to transform Suvarnabhumi Airport

No Big Jump Of Chinese Tourist Arrivals At Chiang Mai Airport
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
All good. Fewer Chinese tourists usually means a more pleasant experience. Same applies to Russians, though they are here in droves now.- 37 replies

Thai taxi driver slams cops for toll indulgence
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
More self entitled tourists. Running away is usually an admission of guilt. 30 days in the slammer might make an impression on these two spectaculaly weak and troublesome women.- 97 replies

If in your room with a stranger always keep everything locked up in a safe or at the very minimum a suitcase with a lock on it, prior to even engaging in a drink together. If outside at a bar you never carry those kind of valuables with you, the passport always stays locked up in the room, and only the minimum is carried with you, and never, ever accept drinks from strangers. Anywhere, or anytime.

Swiss Man,Thai Wife Apologise For Assaulting Female Doctor
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Humans are expected to behave with a certain amount of dignity. When they start kicking women strangers for sitting on their steps, they behave like tiny, pesty little insects. So, I feel embarrassment for him, for his behavior. I think the terminology was accurate. -

Swiss Man,Thai Wife Apologise For Assaulting Female Doctor
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
This insect species, only started to worry after his stink caused all this publicity. He cares not one iota for his common man. He deserves all the humiliation he gets and let's start calling him out by name. If victims can be named, surely insect perpetrators can be. -
Bangkok’s expressway toll fees skyrocket starting today

If they think a 5 baht increase is a soaring price, then they have not experienced inflation in the rest of the world. Very poor journalism. Very misleading. -
Thailand Plans Year-End Ban on Recreational Cannabis
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
For sure the swamp will eventually need to be drained here. It will be quite a process, and quite a cleansing which will eventually take place. For now, it is some of the lowest quality, least intelligent and least productive within Asia, forming the government and leadership roles here. Such a shame for the good people of Thailand. They sure deserve better than they are given. -

Nah, it comes from both sides, it's from very petty, very incomplete, and very poorly developed and juvenile individuals. They are not adults, they kind of look like adults, and they kind of smell like adults, but they are not adults. -

I think it stems from a tremendous lack of self-esteem and self-love, and it morphs into self-loathing, which then manifests itself as criticism of others. A small man will often try to cut off the head of another to make himself appear taller. It is quite sad to watch someone like Trump engage in this kind of juvenile and regressive behavior. -
Such an incredibly tiny man, such a horrific sense of entitlement, it's such a shame that people that are blessed with this kind of fortune in life, figure out a way to be miserable human beings and to treat the rest of humanity so poorly. This half man should be locked up, exiled from Thailand or perhaps the local people simply need to take action into their own hands, if the aforementioned cop does not take action, or is not sanctioned. Maybe sometimes sanctions have to be the will of the people.

Thailand Plans Year-End Ban on Recreational Cannabis
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It is an enormous betrayal of the people, and the billions they have invested in the industry. It makes Thailand appear to be regressive, purile, backwards, fearful, over bearing and horribly misguided. It would appear Sretta has chosen from the absolute bottom of the barrel, and the administration is comprised of some of the dimmest people available, anywhere in the country. He is a dismal failure as PM, to date. -
Devotee donates gold to Thai statue after land sale
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Central Thailand News
This is the polar opposite of any sort of spiritual or beneficial belief system. It is tribal superstition. I doubt it even has anything to do with Buddhism. Statues do not grant favors. Superstition is to religion what astrology is to astronomy, the mad daughter of a wise mother. These daughters have too long dominated the earth. — Voltaire, 1694-1778, French philosopher & writer With our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what’s true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition. … We have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. We might get away with it for a while, but eventually this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces. — Carl Sagan An extraterrestrial being, newly arrived on Earth - scrutinizing what we mainly present to our children in television, radio, movies, newspapers, magazines, the comics, and many books - might easily conclude that we are intent on teaching them murder, rape, cruelty, superstition, credulity and consumerism. — Carl Sagan One of the greatest gifts science has brought to the world is continuing elimination of the supernatural, and it was a lesson that my father passed on to me, that knowledge liberates mankind from superstition. We can live our lives without the constant fear that we have offended this or that deity who must be placated by incantation or sacrifice, or that we are at the mercy of devils or the Fates. With increasing knowledge, the intellectual darkness that surrounds us is illuminated and we learn more of the beauty and wonder of the natural world. — James Watson -
Thai immigration cracks down on misbehaving foreigners
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Tarnishing the country's image is such a shameful act. Can you imagine destroying the incredibly wholesome nature of this country, with it's pure as white snow belief system, and the purest morality demonstrated n the entire region? What a true crime that would be. Lock up the tourists. -
Thailand escapes ‘not free’ label despite election chaos
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
A very poor conclusion. This is NOT a democracy, where they oust an elected man because he was too progressive. Now that Pheu Thai has cut the treasonous deal with the army, all bets are off. They completely betrayed their base of support, and the nation. The army is the last institution in the world this nation wants anything to do with. Any reputation they may have once had, has gone down the drain with those very long 9 years of ineptitude, malfeasance, corruption and theft. So, where does the nation go from here? It is likely to continue it's backwards spin. Perhaps into near oblivion and even a greater degree of irrelevance. -
Thailand’s manufacturing sector sees slump for 16th month
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Say it ain't so, just yesterday the government published another fake poll about consumer confidence on the rise despite declining manufacturing, despite a slump in the housing market, despite a slump in new car sales, despite higher financing costs, higher unemployment and higher homelessness. Yes, confidence is on the rise, yes we all just got off the boat, and we're all buying the nonsense. -
That is not really an alternative. There is as much as 3 hours late on many occasions. The sedond aspect is an antiquated rail system with cars that are as sometimes 70 years old, and number three the amount of time involved to travel a relatively short distance is absolutely ridiculous. It is an abomination. Is this Thailand, or is this Gayana?

Foreign couple condemned for sex antics on Phuket beach (video)
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
People have been enjoying sex in the outdoors since the beginning of time, since neanderthal era. There's no issue with that, the issues is with fake puritans trying to make a big deal about it. This kind of stuff is just beyond ridiculous, and needs to be ignored with all of our might. It is very likely that the people who most adamantly complain about public sex, are the biggest sex freaks of them all. -
Lies, lies and more lies. Will the lies ever stop? Is it possible that any government official can somehow figure out a way to establish any sort of connection to truth and reality? They're only working up to kilometer 37 at this point. Beyond that there's no work that's has even started yet. How is this link going to be finished all the way to Patchburi, in one year? How long have they been working on this project already? 15 years, and likely another 15 years to go. Stop the lies.

Consumer confidence hits 47-month high amid economic recovery
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Such unbelievable nonsense, three or four times a week we see posts on here about how dismal the economy is performing, how exports are down, how foreign investment in New factories is down, how the quality of tourism is down, where tourists are not spending as much money. And now we see this fake post about consumer confidence. I don't buy it for a nanosecond, the economy here is in trouble, it's heading toward deeper problems and there are many problems in housing, homelessness, etc. So many other sectors of the economy are still hurt from the Prayuth Decimation. New car sales may be up 3%, but they're up from an low last year, where many car dealers were barely selling a couple of cars a month. Don't buy the nonsense, reject the lies, reject the government fabrications. -
Foreign couple condemned for sex antics on Phuket beach (video)
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
It is so bizarre, so hypocritical, so beyond comprehension that somebody would make a big deal about a couple having sex on the beach. It's such a nothing burger, it's so ridiculous, these netizens are getting to the point where they're so weak, they're so confused, they're so lacking in self-esteem, self identity, awareness, and consciousness that they just need to grumble about something. They love being a victim and having something to complain about, and it's beyond ludicrous. These are just unbelievably pathetic people who would crumble if life offered them any major challenge, they need to be ignored at all costs, they mean nothing to us, they are completely irrelevant, and social media outrage is just a sickness that we have to ignore.- 94 replies
