  1. That's a very good point and a very good argument, he has more or less positioned himself as a savior and some of his followers actually consider him to be a saint, and some even make the mistake of presuming that he's truly Christian and spiritual in nature, which could not be further from the truth. If anything the man appears to be a devotee of Satan.
  2. Well I'm not sure if doomed is the correct word for it, but America has been on the decline for at least 30 years, it's a much lesser version of itself than it used to be, the quality of life is diminishing by the day, prices are skyrocketing, and unless you own a home free and clear you are completely screwed in America. America has the highest number of homeless and houseless nomads in the entire world. What does that say about the nation? And now with the goombah and his ridiculous policies, things are only going to get worse, he is never going to make America great again, he is going to continue to diminish America, and he is going to precipitate that decline dramatically. Donald Trump is making America less relevant each and every day.
  3. He should either resign or be fired. In many nations he would be facing a firing squad for this incredible betrayal of National Security. I would imagine the soldiers and pilots are quite upset with him and my guess is that he never had any confidence of the military. Now he has even less, the man is a silly caricature, a drunkard, a morally bankrupt soul and he does not and has never had the ability to lead an organization of millions, much less even 100 people. Is a very typical bottom of the barrel pick, and Trump selected him for his fealty, obedience, and his telegenic qualities, and certainly not for his experience or wisdom.
  4. it seems like he's hellbent upon bringing chaos down upon the US and world economies. Which makes him very dangerous too. Overall he's a stain on the face and the history of America. Saint Donald. Total revisionist history, a complete reformation of his entire career, and a total erasure of his past crimes, moral terpitude, and a total and complete willingness to overlook a lifetime of moral bankruptcy. I do have some friends that will come right out and say the man is a butthead, he's an idiot, and he's an absolute clown, but I like his policies. Those are the Republicans I admire. With many people, once they got attached to a theory, it was hard to get them detached. They’d screen out unhelpful facts, invent favorable ones, and ignore contradictions in their own claims. Look at those Sandy Hook, multiple fraud convictions, and Jan. 6th truthers, babbling about false flags and crisis actors and all the rest. When people were motivated enough to believe something, they were going to believe it no matter what. There was no such thing as a bridge too far.
  5. Without charm is putting it very mildly, did you see the clip on YouTube of him visiting that donut store? Not only is he without charm, but without the ability to even relate to a human being earning less than a million dollars a year. This guy is bad news, and he was a horrific selection for VP. His bluster, his arrogance, and his incompetence is showing itself daily, he is an embarrassment to the US. He is an abomination.
  6. This is absolutely the case, never before has an administration been filled with appointees based solely on the criteria of fealty to their political master, without any consideration for experience, talent or intelligence. The only exception to that might be Bondi, at least she has some experience. Hesgeth is a national disgrace, he should be locked up or facing a firing squad, Patel is a caricature of a man, Gabbard is proving herself to be not only incompetent but a clear and present danger to the National Security of the US. And then there is Trump who day by day is demonstrating to both his supporters and his opponents why he should not have been elected, and why he's the wrong man for the job. The man could not negotiate his way out of a paper bag and he is allying himself with despots and dictators. He does not support democracy, or freedom of the press. He seems to be willfully tearing the American economy apart with his completely ridiculous tariffs which are never going to work, they are simply going to further alienate nations around the world, who are going to defy America at every opportunity, and I support them in their behavior. I'm sorry to say that I say this as an American, what we're seeing right now is beyond tragic, it is Shakespearean in nature. I am sure Trump's defenders will jump on the bandwagon and call me anti-American and an America hater, but that simply betrays their cluelessness. The list goes on and on and on, this Administration is dangerous, I cannot think of a way to stop them because even impeachment would simply enable Mr. Just Dull.
  7. He does have unusually high disapproval numbers for a president this early in his term, but I certainly understand that. He's despised like few have ever been in America and around the world and for very good reasons. He is destroying long-held alliances, he is belittling our closest allies and he is using a wrecking ball to the American economy. My guess is that millions of jobs will be lost, unemployment will spike and inflation is already on its way up. This numskull somehow needs to be stopped and I think impeachment is probably a good idea at this point. The only problem with impeachment is that we then have JD Vance who is as bad as Trump. Two peas in a pod, two absolute morons who know nothing about improving the well-being of America, it's all about themselves and their rich cronies.
  8. From what I have read there are four major fault lines that run through Burma, and this happened along one of those major faults at the depth of only 10 km, therefore for a 7.7 it was more severe than usual and it spread much farther than usual. Hence the damage in Bangkok. Bangkok is built on relatively unstable soil so it is surprising that there wasn't more major damage and it's fortunate that the number of fatalities were relatively low.
  9. I would like to report a man that I saw on the street the other day vaping, he was not supporting your horrific and toxic tobacco monopoly and therefore I would like to report him. All the money needs to go to the government, there's no reason why private individuals should be able to make money on vaping. Lock them up.
  10. Not to sound too cosmic, but one often wonders how this drama of life is set up. It almost seems as if ugly, despotic and horrific people are supported by the universe, and normal good-hearted kind people are not. I mean that in a sense that why couldn't some of the buildings that the nasty junta housed in have collapsed killing waves and waves of top officers? It was a perfect opportunity for that, and yet the poor people of Burma continue to suffer one atrocity after another, being oppressed by their ridiculous army and now having to deal with the consequences of this horrific earthquake. How much can these poor people bear, and why are they made to suffer like this.?
  11. As you can see there is very little tolerance and a lot of very thin skin when it comes to MAGA supporters, and the slightest bit of criticism of their political master results in name calling and ridiculously juvenile tactics like labeling someone an America hater. Since the vast majority of republicans themselves are not willing to criticize the goon, even when he does things that are completely inane, so when anybody else uses common sense and reason to complain about bad policy, verbal grenades are lobbed in their direction. It is so sad and so pathetic. It's just dumb, it's just silly, and it's very demonstrative of the lack of critical thinking on the part of people who throw these kind of labels around.
  12. Well if they had real allies at the beginning of this sad, forlorn, destructive administration, they are disappearing fast. When astonishing levels of ignorance prevail at the highest levels of government and you have a man who spends every waking moment trying to think of creative ways to insult and belittle friends and allies, it's just not a good formula for maintaining alliances. Picking fights with Mexico, Canada and Europe are just not smart. I get standing up to Russia, I get standing up to China, but instead of standing up to Russia this goon is doing just the opposite and allying himself with an enemy and a genocidal maniac. Can anyone explain to me where the reasoning is in that kind of behavior and hostility? Or are we witnessing such poor policy, that there is very little reason being applied?
  13. I am a lifelong Democrat and during the 20 years that Clinton, Obama, and Biden were in office I regularly criticized some of their policies that I did not agree with. We are never going to agree with everything that a president does. Having said that I am wondering why Republicans are so unwilling to criticize anything that Trump does. It seems like the even the most ignorant things that he does are not open to criticism from his supporters. I hear a few people here and there saying they're unhappy about this they're unhappy about that, but it appears to be very tiny numbers of people. Where is the courage in that? How does independent thinking come into an equation where no criticism seems to be acceptable? I understand his administration members lying over things like classified information to try to cover him, but I don't understand his supporters accepting the mistakes that he's making, and they appear to be quite numerous, to a reasonable mind.
  14. MAGA. Magnifying American Games Abroad. Diminishing America by the day. Driving up inflation and increasing unemployment, while making America a lesser version of itself. The ruin of the economy is just beginning. Give Trump some time, he has spent his entire lifetime destroying businesses, now he's busy destroying a nation.

  17. I agree. I have considered Trump insane for many years now, but I don't think any of us knew how completely unhinged he was, nor how incredibly diabolical his plans were. His supporters will very soon find out just what the man is up to, and just how phony and false his promised agenda was.
  18. That is completely false information, there were a number of countries that stepped up and very publicly stated that they would be willing to take these refugees.
  19. No I do not think that they do, however they should be feeling some embarrassment and shame over the lack of progress with this highway project, it is the main highway in and out of Bangkok after all. Anybody with some pride would be feeling shame over this massive construction failure.
  20. Well they may have been making some plans, but the reality is he should have announced by early 2023 that he would not run again, and he did the party and all democrats a huge disservice by not doing that.
  21. These super corrupt creeps are likely taking in billions, not millions of baht. During the Prayut Administration I can't even imagine the hundreds of billions of baht that exchanged hands, and nobody is ever held accountable, as they are all above any and all laws. There is never any political will to investigate any of these allegations in a serious manner.
  22. I hope they see a massive increase in sales due to this publicity, people have the right to express themselves however they want if other people choose to be victims and be offended that's on them. These people are likely overly sensitive Russians, or loyal Trump devotees, who object to the great leader being characterized in an ugly fashion. Well the fact of the matter is he's a very ugly man who continues to perpetrate genocide and who seems to make a sport out of killing women, children and political adversaries. So he deserves whatever kind of shame and humiliation the world can heap upon his ugly mug.
  23. Vance much like his boss is a completely ridiculous man and the US is overstepping their bounds to a rather insane extent. They need to be stopped, there needs to be huge pushback and nations around the world simply need to say no to America's zany and ridiculous policies. All he is doing is precipitating the decline, and making America less influential by the day. A friend of mine from Holland just recently put his mother in a rather luxurious nursing home, he said it's the equivalent of many five-star hotels that he's been to. She has a large, luxurious room with a private balcony overlooking the river. His total outlay is 900 euros monthly. A trashy facility in the US is $9,000 a month and a nice facility is $15,000 a month and up. I know couples who spend $2000 to $3,000 a month on health insurance alone, in the US. It is an unregulated mafia. Just another reason why Greenland and Canada would never choose to be a part of the US. In the process their quality of life would diminished dramatically. In Denmark, the welfare state is characterised by an extensive social security system and a high degree of income equality. All Danish citizens have equal access to education and health care regardless of their social and financial background. Similarly, every citizen is entitled to a limited compensation for loss of income due to unemployment, disability, or illness – just to name a few of the public services that the welfare system provides. The welfare system does indeed benefit each individual citizen but the main purpose of the Danish welfare model is to ensure healthcare and education for all citizens in order to provide high quality human capital/first class employees of great benefit to the taxpaying companies and hence to the Danish economy. https://denmark.dk/society-and-business/the-danish-welfare-state In other words, the polar opposite of the US, where if an older couple does not have hugely expensive health care, they could lose everything with one illness. So, why would any Dane choose to be American? A land owned and controlled by Big pharma, corrupt lobbyists, greedy out of control corporations and a highly dysfunctional government. They would have to be insane.
  24. As an American I am hopeful that nations around the world will retaliate in a severe manner. Trump richly deserves this for his ridiculously dumb trade policies, deportation of folks who have been legally living within the US for decades, and the locking up of folks who have legal visas and we're locked up for simply trying to enter the US. He's pushing too hard, he's moving too fast, and he's becoming extremely reckless in the process, and diminishing American influence by the day. This fool has to be stopped. The US deserves this for electing that absolute fool. The pushback will be long-term and America will diminish in the eyes of the world. Trump is a goon, let's all start admitting that truth.
  25. My heart really goes out to the Burmese people who are already suffering so much under that horrific regime, and now this? What did those poor souls do to deserve all this suffering? I just hope miraculously that the death toll is not well into the thousands.
