I'm not a liberal I'm a Centrist Democrat, but it's very likely you wouldn't know the difference. Few liberals are highly supportive of the death penalty, and are against abortion after the first trimester, I could go on. It's very likely that you label all Democrats as communists, traitors, and socialists. And that could not be further from the truth, the vast majority of Democrats in America are Centrists. This will be my last reply to you, I don't like dancing in circles with someone who is rather poorly informed.

I would bet your feelings toward Taylor Swift were neutral or even positive prior to Trump launching his diatribe of hatred and venom towards her. Like many of his followers you are simply towing the party line and parroting his hatred, perhaps without even a conscious thought about it. Trump himself likely never gave her a second thought, until she started speaking publicly, with rather pointed criticism of the man, which he richly deserved. He is so oversensitive, he's so thin skinned, he's such a petty lightweight, that he simply cannot handle an insult at all, he wilts like a wallflower and must engage in a hateful diatribe. He's very predictable in that regard. This is who and what he is. A petty bully.

Ex-PM Abhisit Warns Legal Casinos Could Harm Thai Society
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Abhisit is just as lost in space as he was when he was briefly PM. Casinos won't change anything as many Thais are compulsive gamblers anyway. What could what could cause harm is the fact that the next government will likely make them illegal again, causing billions of dollars worth of losses to the developers who were gullible enough to build them. All one has to do is look next door to Cambodia to see what a disaster that was. -
Three quotes come to mind thinking about this creep. In shallow men the fish of little thoughts cause much commotion. In oceanic minds the whales of inspiration make hardly a ruffle. Character is easier kept than recovered. There is a battle inside of every man. Two wolves that exist inside each of us. One is evil and anger. The other is hope. You know which one wins? The one you feed.

He is a very insecure man. Likely low self esteem issues, masked by his infamous bluster. Nobody who is normal, mentally healthy, and well adjusted continues to tear down people to the extent that he does. It's really abnormal, it's a sign of a major degenerate and someone who has absolutely no self love. He seems to wake up in the morning angry, and just carries that anger, hatred and venom with him everywhere he goes. 5,000 hours with an excellent therapist might help this goombah.

Trump 2.0 -- Exponentially more damaging than Trump 1.0
spidermike007 replied to Jingthing's topic in Political Soapbox
I've certainly heard of the concept of a sore loser in the past, but I've never really seen such a great example of a sore winner, as I am seeing with alot of Trump devotees. I'm seeing an awful lot of gloating and it's of a rather nasty variety. It just seems to be the continuation of the kind of division and hatred that the fake master has forged, and established, and his devotees seem to be continuing to run with the torch, and doing a great job of continue the animosity. It's precisely the opposite of what he promised which was to unify the country, however many of us knew this was exactly what was going to happen. Anytime Trump says something you can more or less predict the exact opposite is going to happen. Any sort of individuality and any of your own opinions are not welcome within the maga movement. You have to subscribe to the policies of the master and if you disobey, if you disagree you are thrown under the bus, or you are considered to be disloyal. -
Trump 2.0 -- Exponentially more damaging than Trump 1.0

Not only that but he acted like an adult too. -
Trump is such a petty creep, he could not let this go. There are unspoken rules to this stuff - the Queensberry rules of basic decency - and he breaks them all. He punches downwards - which a gentleman should, would, could never do - and every blow he aims is below the belt. So the fact that a significant minority - perhaps a third - of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think 'Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that:* Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are.* You don't need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man. This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss. After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of BS. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum. God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid.

Maybe I should not have opened my mouth and uttered such unbelievable stupidity and suggested an illegal annexation and possible war after all. I forgot. I promised not to create new wars. I have been forgetting alot lately. Guess my age is catching up with me. It sure would have been a nice 5 star development, though. I could have made a fortune on it. Oops, I just got excited sitting next to my good buddy Benjamin. I knew he would like the plan. Guess few others feel the same way. Yikes, those Arab voters sure must regret voting for me. Who cares? I don't.

Thailand Debates Costly Move to Relocate Capital from Bangkok
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Any move to alleviate congestion in Bangkok would be a good thing. Getting rid of those obnoxious 7 car convoys would be too. And a Bangkok without the political creeps would be more pleasant. Sounds like a great plan to me. -
Trump 2.0 -- Exponentially more damaging than Trump 1.0
spidermike007 replied to Jingthing's topic in Political Soapbox
Last time around. He is destined to repeat himself. Or worse this time. He promised to cut the deficit. He added $8T. He promised to build a wall. He only did 458 miles out of 2,000. Most of it was repair or replacement, not new. He promised to make Mexico pay. They didn't. We did. He promised to unveil a new healthcare plan. It didn't exist. He promised a middle-class tax cut. He cut taxes for the rich. The middle class is paying for it. He said he wouldn't play golf as President. He made 250 visits (way more than Obama) to his own golf clubs. It cost taxpayers $150 million. He said he'd increase economic growth by 4%. Nope. Biden did. He promised an infrastructure plan. He had none. President Biden signed a massive one. He promised to hire "the best people." He fired 3/4 of them and then said they were the worst ever, and they said HE was in fact the worst ever. He promised to bring down the price of prescription drugs. He didn't: Biden did. He promised a Hillary lock-up. Nope Promised we'd win the trade war with China. Nope, It cost about 250,000 jobs and hurt Americans, not help them. He promised his corporate tax cuts would help and benefit Workers, and corporations would use that money to invest in American workers. They didn't, they used that money to buy back stocks. He promised to revive the coal industry. Never happened: more coal jobs were lost during his presidency. -
Trump 2.0 -- Exponentially more damaging than Trump 1.0
spidermike007 replied to Jingthing's topic in Political Soapbox
Correct. With many people, once they got attached to a theory, it was hard to get them detached. They’d screen out unhelpful facts, invent favorable ones, and ignore contradictions in their own claims. Look at those Sandy Hook, multiple fraud convictions, and Jan. 6th truthers, babbling about false flags and crisis actors and all the rest. When people were motivated enough to believe something, they were going to believe it no matter what. There was no such thing as a bridge too far. One other way of putting it is that a relatively powerful intellect can always come up with the 101 ways to justify any position, no matter how wrong or ridiculous the position is. -

Thank you for speaking truth to corrupt power. A real man and Donald Trump cannot be used in the same sentence. -

That's way too much information for a lot of his devotees, who consider the man to be not only a political but also a spiritual master. -

Saint Donald. Total revisionist history, a complete reformation of his entire career, and a total erasure of his past crimes, moral terpitude, and a total and complete willingness to overlook a lifetime of moral bankruptcy. -
I've been suggesting this for two decades. I suggest legalize all drugs, the allure disappears once drugs are legal, and chances are it would not only weaken the cartels, we would probably see drug use drop dramatically in just a short period of time. The "War on Drugs" has failed dramatically, and what is the definition of the continuation of something that has totally failed?

U.S. Suspends $5 Billion EV Charger Program, Sparking Backlash
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Trump continues his battle against clean energy, the environment and the planet. People possessing his level of ignorance when it comes to environmental concerns behave as if we have nine alternative planets we can move to once we foul this one to a sufficient extent. It could be argued that he is the environment's greatest enemy, but it also could be due to him simply paying off a favor to his big oil buddies. Whatever you do, don't ever try to make an argument that he isn't highly compromised. This may become quite interesting, since his buddy Musk is likely advocating for those EV stations, and it's possible at this point in time that Musk has as much power as he does. -

No he did not destroy bankruptcy he destroyed the Taj Mahal casino single-handedly to the tune of $3 billion dollars in debt, do you get that concept? It's fairly easy to grasp. He also destroyed 17 other businesses that totally went under. Most of that debt represented very hard-earned money and supplies from small contactors who were crippled as a result of this man's mouthfeasance, crime and immorality. He is a human wrecking ball that's always been his style. -
Can flying cars ever take off, would you want to own one
spidermike007 replied to Rimmer's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I spend a lot of time in Los Angeles and if there were any way to fly above the traffic rather than through it, I would be very game for that. However I can never envision a scenario we're flying cars would be reasonably priced, and I can never envision a scenario where air traffic control would be sufficiently safe. If they are maniacs on the ground you can only imagine how they would behave in the sky. -
It certainly feels and seems like that's his endgame, the more money he has amassed the more obnoxious he has become, the more out of control his rants are, and it seems like the world is his end game. Crazy amounts of money is just not enough for this megalomaniac fool.

Really, if I have to explain it to you there's nothing I can say that would establish proof in your mind, you're already a convert and a devotee.
