you are congratulating someone who has cheated you. or should we assume that you don't use any banking or insurance services?
I use banking services. I use insurance services to the most absolute minimum possible in this lifetime. I detest insurance companies. I need banks, but I dislike them. Otherwise I would not use them. I also am aware of the extent to which both engage in crime, and both are massive fraudsters, and not there to benefit their customers. Most are there to fleece their customers. I am proud of this man. I think anyone who can get over on the banks or the insurance companies deserves an award by us citizens. As far as the cheat thing goes, that is a lame claim. These banking and insurance empires take in trillions a year. They should be covering losses out of their profits, not our pockets. Just another instance of their criminal natures. When they do factor the losses into premiums, it is very minimal. What drives your premiums up is sick people within your health care pool, or tragedies within your home ownership pool. If you want something to blame, blame hurricanes. Blame cancer. Blame tobacco and alcohol for causing all of these health problems and losses. With insurance, you are constantly paying for other people's issues and problems. I hate insurance. I despise insurance companies. I celebrate every time one gets taken for a ride! Hooray. Congrats! Yeah baby.

Nope. You did not get alot of press. You are not world famous. We cannot score many brownie points with you. The cave boys are special. Everyone knows about them, and therefore if we treat them special, the world will know about it, and it will be free PR for the nation. That is why we did it. We did not do it because it was the right thing to do. We did not do it because it was the decent thing to do. As an administration we realize we do not have any skill, talent or smarts. And we have been getting alot of egg on our faces for the past four years. We need this little boost, and we are going to take it.
Since when has this administration, or this nation operated from a standpoint of moral or ethical behavior? It is all about perception.

Get a visa agent, but be aware that starting next month the U.S. Consulate in Chiang Mai will start requiring ACTUAL proof of income before they'll notarize your income affidavit.
But for the rest of August they will require no actual proof.
First of all, a lawyer is not needed. It is a simple process as of now. And second, I would not be surprised if they start to require proof of income. I am surprised this system has gone on for his long. I know alot of guys who do not have the income to support what they are claiming. The embassy must know that is the case. They are getting more and more intrusive and this is to be expected, in my opinion. It is about control.

Again, absolutely no leadership from the tangerine tornado. Boycotting Harley means the loss of even more American jobs, numskull! Harely is right in fighting these ridiculous trade policies, and this trade war. I hope hundreds of American companies follow suit. One thing this nitwit does not seem to comprehend, is that at least half of the products that he wants to impose tariffs on, are made by American companies in China. All this trade war is, is a tax hike for the American people. It is dumb and dumber. I am hopeful this brain dead plan will convince many of his supporters to abandon him.
Tiny Don. He could not negotiate his way out of a paper bag. Making America less great by the day. Making America less relevant than it has ever been.

I can see why they wouldn't have shot them down until they knew for sure it wasn't a hostage/ransom/free our fellow terrorist situation where there was a possibility of the passengers living through it. But once the order was given, the American people deserve the truth.
That is such a BS line of crap. Once the first tower was hit, they knew. They knew all they had to know, and they scrambled every fighter jet they could to protect Manhattan. There is no doubt in my mind, that Little George was told the second plane was heading for NYC, and the jet fighters were on it's tail, and he told them to stand down. It was the equivalent of FDR's Pearl Harbor. A beacon call to the American people, to start a much wanted war, by Cheney, Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld. I also have no doubt those nimwit warmongers made billions off the war. 15 years later, after trillions have been spent on Iraq and Afghanistan, please enlighten me as to what has been accomplished, except to leave over 3,500 coalition soldiers dead, tens of thousands wounded, or without limbs, tens or hundreds of thousands with PTSD, hundreds of thousands of dead civilians in both nations, a far stronger Taliban, the development of IS, and others, and two broken nations.

According to an article I read when he was running for office, he was worth slightly over a billion, with $680,000,000 in debt. He tried for five years to lobby a guy who worked on compiling the Forbes list to get on the wealthiest Americans list, back in the late 1970's. Finally they put him on, after he lied about the value of the apartments he was about to inherit from his father. He has lied about his net worth, the size of his anatomy (shockingly small, no doubt) and anything else he could, his entire life. All he does is lie. He has no relationship to truth, nor does he feel the need for one. He is such a lightweight, and the very definition of an empty suit. A total charlatan. He could not negotiate his way out of a paper bag!

I am sure that is what happened. No doubt. We will not protect the civilians in the World Trade Center towers, but when it comes to the Pentagon, the White House, or the House of Congress? Protect it at all costs! Thieves and crooks. Every single national political in America. Especially now. More than ever. The swamp has been re-populated by his own brand of alligators.

In this case, the simple reason was either insanity, or a very elaborate desire to kill himself and become a famous idiot in the process. Either way, he was off his meds, no doubt. A looney tune character, who hijacked a $33 million plane and destroyed it. Glad nobody on the ground was killed. Little sympathy for the suicidal thief. Oops. I do not know how to fly?

18 minutes ago, atyclb said:that is amazing and contrary to what the government claimed. you have a link for that video?
And do you have any specific reason to believe the government? Is there any particular reason why you trust the government? What have they done lately to earn that trust? Do you really believe that because the government did not acknowledge the presence of fighter jets, that is absolute proof that they were not following FAA protocol, and not there at all?
Every commercial and civilian plane that takes to the air in the US, has to fill and file a specific flight plan. Along with this flight plan, there are required fixed points that the plane has to hit along the way, in oder to keep the skies safe and clear. When a plane misses one of those fixes, air traffic controllers are alerted, and they attempt to make contact with the pilot. If the pilot fails to respond appropriately, the military is contacted, and a fighter jet is usually scrambled to investigate. The military and NORAD are directly linked into the sophisticated radar and air traffic control systems of the FAA. And even a private pilot in a small off course plane will likely find one or two F-18s on their tail with ten minutes of unapproved movement.
Before reviewing the military air defense response on 9/11, it is important to remember objectively what the 'official story' asks the public to believe. According to their narrative, on the morning of September 11, four enormous, fuel-laden, lumbering jumbo jets were hijacked by 19 Arab men with box-cutters and zero in-air flight experience. These slow, unmaneuverable planes were then flown for 1 hour and 45 minutes through the most restricted airspace in the world without eliciting a single military intercept. The most sophisticated military in the world, able to strike dime-sized targets from hundreds of miles away with laser-guided missiles, precision radar equipment, and state of the art aircraft capable of flying well over 1,300 mph, could not locate, engage, nor intercept four wandering jumbo jets. A military that has a budget larger than the combined military assets of every other country in the world could not scramble, intercept and engage any of the radically wayward planes. Even Flight 77, which was allowed to fly unimpeded and crash into the Pentagon one full hour after two jets had been flown into the Twin Towers in NYC, failed to elicit the response and intercept from any military jets. Nor, indeed, did flight 93. A plane that crashed in a Pennsylvania field 1 hour and 45 minutes after the first plane was confirmed hijacked.
This official narrative leaves the public with one of two conclusions. Either the U.S. military is a wholly inept force incapable of defending the country from even the most rudimentarily hostile elements, rendering it the greatest illusion and farce the world has ever seen. Or on the morning of September 11, forces within its own ranks purposely blocked, hamstrung, and prevented the military apparatus from carrying out its most basic defensive responsibilities. In light of what we know the military can and has done in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc., in light of the plan they surely have in place to defend the skies from a potential massive enemy air-attack with striking power infinitely more powerful than that of four unarmed civilian jumbo jets, the first hypothesis is out. Which leaves behind the only logical scenario. That rogue elements from within the military and government leadership itself either stood down the military apparatus to let the events of September 11 occur on purpose. Or the same rogue elements planned, facilitated, and helped carry out the attacks themselves. Either one would be high treason and mass murder. And there is overwhelming evidence to back up both.

Finnish Bitcoin owner Aarni Otava Saarimaa was lured into transferring Bitcoins worth almost Bt800 million to Thai suspects for further investment in Thai and other securities as well as for use in Macau casinos.
Was this guy completely crazy? Did he have a battery of expert lawyers reviewing the documents, visiting the casinos, and doing their due diligence? Investing $25 million dollars with a Thai actor?
Will this scum be sentenced and imprisoned? Or will the monies simply be turned over the "authorities" and all is forgotten?

It is obvious that the police had not been turning a blind eye on the place, but rather accepting payments for years. The fact that they were not fired says it all. Again, no law enforcement. Just revenue collection agents.

46 minutes ago, atyclb said:absolutely its just when commercial jets are hijacked and or fly off course without authorization that they are allowed to fly around for well over 1 hour and no military jets are scrambled as was the case on 9 11
Not the case. There was no doubt that fighter jets were scrambled within minutes of those planes being hijacked. The fact that they were not shot down was a decision on the part of King George II. It was a deliberate decision to rally the American people behind a war on terrorism. If you think I am being cynical, think of the degree of cynicism that might have gone into a decision like that. It is FAA policy, that within minutes of a commercial flight going out of contact with the ground control, the military is contacted, and jets are scrambled. A friend of mine was in Mexico City on 9/11. The major nightly news showed the fighter jets with a mile or two of the jets that crashed into the towers. That footage was not allowed on American news.

In the west, your wife would not ask to get an allowance every month. She would be a joint signatory on the account, and take whatever she wanted. I know guys in the US who do not carry cash, because their wives do not want them to. That is the extent of the control they exert. They cannot buy a cup of coffee, without their woman knowing about it. Talk about emasculation to the extreme? What kind of man does not like to carry around some cash?
Here, it is sometimes far easier to just give a woman a monthly allowance, especially if she is not working. I do not want my woman to work. I do not want her to be subject to the whims of an idiot boss, and have to work stupid hours, and therefore rarely be at home. And for what? $500 a month, at most? Fortunately that amount of money would not make a big difference for us, and I love the idea of my wife having the freedom to do as she pleases with her time. Her allowance means I do not have to dole out money all month, so she can go out to eat or drink with her girlfriends, buy herself something, or put some gas in the car or bike. It just makes sense.

Most of us are thankful for that every day of our lives. With the exception of a few guys who are either wealthy, very handsome, or super charming, most guys do not stand a chance in the US with a woman 20 or 30 years younger than them. We are invisible. Casper. Here that is not the case. We are considered exotic here, by some. And our financial positions put us in a position where we are desirable to some, except most middle or upper class women. Just put yourself out there. The worst that can happen is she says no.

He had his opportunity to show leadership, at the time, and he failed abysmally. He equated the racists with decent, hard working, tolerant Americans. That was unforgivable. The man is a racist. He despises brown people. He despises people who are not wealthy, though he tolerates his white followers who are common men and women, for purposes of support. He is a misogynist, a hater, a completely bitter fool. He is a loser on every level that is measurable, except for net worth. Not a single redeeming bone in this man childs body.

No doubt he will be treated in a very royal manner, by his fellow inmates. They will take "special" care of him. He deserves what he got. He worked hard for this reward.
Let us just hope he actually serves the sentence. Money like that goes a long way here.

One has to wonder who the nitwit was that put that tire back on the truck? Lugs do not come off by themselves, typically. At least not all of them. Could have been a broken axle? But, I doubt it. No doubt it was negligence, and a complete and total lack of pride in the work done by the fool who changed or repaired that tire.
But, the primary reason for so many deaths here on the roads, rest on the shoulders of the revenue collection agents, who are posing as policemen. If there was a deterrent here, far fewer accidents would happen. People know they can get away with anything they want, and the worst thing that can happen to them is they will die, and kill others along the way.

I do not trust a lawyer anywhere, much less here, where the judicial system is completely broken. Even more broken than the system in the US. And that is broken. However, signing anything at a police station, other than a statement having admitted you lost your ATM card, or something tiny like that, is not wise. Always remember one thing. They are not law enforcement officials. They are revenue collection agents.

The bizarre aspect of this, is that Jolie has a net worth of $160,000,000 yet the courts still demand that Pitt pay child support. My guess is that a man in his position, and with his wealth and love of his kids, would want to pay it anyway. But the fact that the courts demand it is bizarre in this instance. My guy tells me he has been responsible, and there is another agenda here. A woman spurned? A bitter woman? Just pure nastiness playing itself out on a public stage?

First of all, the biggest variable when you meet someone online, is whether or not you will like them once you see them. Do you find them attractive? Do they find you appealing? Is there any chemistry? Is she emotionally developed, or a stunted, emotional retard? There are no shortage of women that fit that category here. Would you want to be with her any longer than an hour, once you meet her? If not, what do you do once you have made this rather grand commitment of your time?
I guess it comes down to self esteem. When I was doing online dating, I always limited the first encounter to 15-30 minutes, over a cup of coffee. And 90% of the time I was very glad I had followed that protocol. I also limited the number of contacts prior to that cup of coffee to three. I do not have any interest in having pen pals. And Thai women love to chat, and text, and you end up wasting alot of hours on someone you have never met, and more than likely are not going to get with once you do meet her, for a couple of dozen reasons. The numbers are not on your side, so why invest the time, once you have made the contact, before you actually meet her in person? What would Bond do?
Always remember one very important fact. You are a man. You have as much control as you are able to establish. You set the agenda. Time is always your ally. Not hers. She is almost always going to be in a hurry to make things happen. And lastly, if she is willing to come and stay with a guy she has never met before, she has more than likely been working as a bar girl, in a special massage parlor, or as an escort or freelancer. Very few real "civilians" would move that fast, nor be that forward. Buyer beware. And be good to yourself. Be a man. Leave behind the Western ways of emasculation. You do not need to be a doormat any longer. You have left the west behind!

This news would be amusing if we did not know the truth of the matter. If driving here:
Maintain eyes in the back of your head. Watch everyone. Expect craziness, insanity, lack of reason, and a complete lack of courtesy and respect on the roads, at all times.
Expect cars and trucks to be coming at you in the wrong lane. Expect people to overtake you with the slimmest of margins.
Expect trucks to be driving very slowly in the fast lane of a highway, and most will refuse to yield to faster traffic.
If riding a motorbike, only do so if you have many years of experience. Especially on the southern islands, where huge numbers of foreigners leave Thailand in wooden boxes.
And wear the best helmet you can afford, if driving a bike.
And drive like a grandmother. This applies to ex-pats too. Bring along an international drivers license. This helps you to avoid being fleeced by the local police franchisee. The police only show up after the accident takes place. There is nothing in the way of traffic safety on the roads, or on the highways. The police are both incompetent and indifferent. A perfect storm. They are not law enforcement. They are revenue collection agents. Those traffic stops are all about weapons, drugs and handouts. Nothing to do with safety. I suppose there is no money in traffic safety. However, if they levied real fines for speeding over 120kph, for reckless driving, making severely quick lane changes, etc, there would be some money to be made, and the highways would be safer.

A rather ridiculous decision. Many of those being made these days here. The goons in charge are focusing their efforts in all the wrong areas. They are trying to make Thailand a Quaker State. A land of purity. They should be focusing their efforts on traffic and public safety, easing import tariffs, making visa policy simpler, and more friendly, boosting Western tourism, real crackdowns on slavery, and illegal fishing instead of nonsensical hyperbole, improving the infrastructure, cleaning up the water, the air, the rivers, and the beaches, and other things that actually improve lives.
Khao San road has seen better days. It has gotten too commercial, and does not have the flavor it had back in the day. However, the street vendors were still at least one charming aspect of the place. Opportunity missed, yet again. The penalty for a lack of vision is significant.
Little P. Not making Thailand great again. And moving the nation backwards at an astonishing and alarming pace.

Too many people on the planet.
For example Thailand had in 1946 a population of 18 million which is now 67 million.
China went from 900 million to 1.3 billion.
Something will happen.
Probably a nuclear war so we can start anew.
There were under 400 million people in the world in the year 1300. Still under 600 million in the year 1600. One billion by 1800. Still quite sustainable. Only 2 billion by 1927. By 1960 we had 3 billion. It took only until 1974 for an additional billion. Since then we are adding a billion every 11-13 years. Now, we are at 7.6 billion. Something has to be done. I doubt the planet can sustain 20 billion. And if it can, the quality of life is going to be a pale shadow of what it is now.
I am not an advocate of governmental intervention. But something has to be done. Without trying to sound fabulously incorrect politically, there has to be a way to stop Muslims, and Africans from dispensing such a large number of babies into the world. One or two is plenty. Come on people. Get with it. Show some responsibility. There are consequences for your actions, that both you and the planet have to pay for. Global warming is real. The danger is there. Sea levels will being to rise drastically in the next decade or so. Just watch. If you are not a believer, just watch.
