  1. Cool glad you enjoy. Watching Cowboys Bolts here. Saw the Phillies win
  2. Shows the state of Alabama. No resemblance at all.
  3. Portraits use to be hung in almost all Thai houses. Now very few. Following the trend of the movie goers.
  4. On top of the new potatoes that are in the stew? Long slow cook on those so creamy. Sourdough buttered up with both the salad and the stew all the way.
  5. Rustic pork stew, been cooking slowly since 11am. Pork butt, pearl onions, baby potatoes, green beans and carrots. Nice crusty loaf of sourdough and a green salad to go with it. Looks like lots of leftovers to freeze up.
  6. Try these streams, there are pop up ads so be prepared to click. https://v2.sportsurge.net/home2/ Best Solaris, Crack and Volokit are the best. This one also works for baseball and the NFL. https://thetvapp.to/tv/discovery-live-stream/ Go Phillies not so much the Eagles, Niners fan here. ????
  7. It is a lot of time zones, but with daylight savings time its 15 hours West coast USA and 12 East coast. Not at least 20 mate.
  8. How so you get that from what was posted? Job, some finances, and a reason to return =visa. Many Thai women meet this criteria, some dont. Simple.
  9. Easy if she has a job and assets here in Thailand that she would have to return for. Otherwise not that easy. She would have to be interviewed in order to grant the visa.
  10. Big Bird, you are correct in saying Isaan is a language, sorry about that. Not often are you right about Thailand, but in this case spot on.
  11. Every native of Isaan speaks Issan its that simple. They themselves are proud to have their own language as well. Better wake up and realize this is a fact as has been pointed out to you by several posters. I take the OP to be quite young, I would recommend he come for a nice holiday, survey Isaan, the north and the south and see what area he feels most comfortable in. Its not going to be what he expects for sure as he thinks its like rural America something that it is surely not.
  12. My kids went there and graduated 8 years ago. At that time it was about 700,000 per year so its well up on that. Being a British school she would be entering at the IGCSE years and moving to A levels. Just checked over 900,000 baht per year for your daughters grade level.
  13. Did you read the OP? His house is in Europe and he is worried about leaving it in the winter..
  14. You think you know so much, yet you know so little. What a silly comparison. Were you ever in Thailand 30+ years ago?
  15. ^ Kratom as the thread title says is legal, you can name it.
  16. Being a genius and all, how long did it take you to learn Japanese? With that taken care of it seems like a nice plan.
  17. You win the longest sentence of the month award!! Plus your anger and angst took over your ability to even write something comprehensible. Well done. ????
  18. Why did you ask? You seem to have made up your mind. Do you have any contact with real Thai culture? The kind that has nothing to do with tourism or bars or restaurants?
  19. Here you go BigBird, https://impactgrouphr.com/individualpost/thailand-the-land-of-the-smiles/ Here are the first five. Yim thang nam taa: The “I’m so happy I’m crying” smile. Yim thak thaai: The “polite” smile for someone you barely know. Yim cheun chom: The “I admire you” or “I’m proud of you” smile. Fuen Yim: The stiff smile, also known as the “I should laugh at the joke even though it’s not funny” smile. Yim mee lessanai: The smile which masks something wicked, such as bad intent.
  20. I was speaking to the poster Celcius who was saying how expensive Mahidol is. I made no comment at all about its ranking or scholastic virtues.
  21. You are thinking of their international college not the Thai Government university. MUIC, Mahidol university international college.
  22. Please read again, I said if its pink it will be Owens Corning. I mentioned the year the color pink was Trademarked. Pink = Owens Corning was my point.
  23. What is it then? https://www.owenscorning.com/en-us/insulation/products/foamular-thermapink-25 Owens Corning® FOAMULAR® & FOAMULAR® NGX™ THERMAPINK® Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) Insulation is a closed cell, moisture resistantrigid foam board
  24. No we did not. I find the idea abhorrent, and when my kids were in Thai school I have confronted teachers who tried to apply this method. A big reason I put my kids in an international school for high school, and then to university in America. I did choose a British International school, and no there was no corporal punishment there for any students from kindergarten through A levels.
