I am happy you found an evening place, but please dont be saying wrong. Here is a food review of kau man gai and khao soi up in Chiang Rain and Chiang Mai.

And since khao man gai is typically a breakfast meal and khao soi is usually eaten at lunch, we suggest just sticking around all morning so you can eat both meals here and judge for yourself.

Wow...you found a food review on the Internet ????

AN evening place? Ignoring that I mentioned three and there are many more.

Try to not be so ridiculous; this is the Pattaya forum, not a Chiang Rain(sic) or Chiang Mai forum.

Oh I am so sorry you must be right. Kau Man Gai is generally an evening dish. I guess old hands like you can really put young newbies like me in our place.   ????  Do me one favor though, walk through any Thai town before 9am and see what is being served.

Moo Katta is usually in a restaurant.

Do you actually eat on the street, on the little chairs and fold up tables?

I would never eat Moo Katta, the quality of ingredients tends to be too low. The vegetables are bought near the spoil date and served quickly and the cuts of meats and seafood are of the lowest quality that can be bought due to the fact is usually sliced so thin they can get away with it.

Yes when travelling I eat street food in street stalls all the time. Not so much in BKK anymore as we do most of the cooking at home, and pack lunches when going to work.

Just what type of street food do you actually eat?

Just as all the food I eat, nutritious, and tasty. Kau Man Gai, Kau Ka Mu, Krapow, Satay, Kau Phat, various noodle dishes. I simply go in read the menu "in Thai", ask a few questions and order if I am happy. Cheap, fresh, and fast. But as I said avoid anything Isaan other than the barbecue. My guess is you have gotten ill eating what I do not.

I call BS on your 35 years eating food in Thailand and never ending up on the toilet, once.

Posting an article about sausages has nothing to do with what I said. I have not eaten a sausage of any type for years. Mystery meat to me. Stand by what I said and say to you. Just look at where you want to eat. Served me well. Oh yeah the wife and kids have never been sick either.  Kids now live and work in the states and miss Thai street food a lot. One caveat, I only eat barbecued meats from any Isaan street stall.

No she wants more it is the Western way.  Thai mom just wants what the American moms want.

What exactly does this mean? It makes no sense. Keep in mind this "mother" received 30 million baht in compensation from the boat owner. Before that and continuing until today she keeps on talking and creating more controversy. Very strange woman.

The BMA controls and exploits every square centimeter of the footpaths for a profit. They are in cahoots with the human traffickers that deploy hundreds of those handicapped Cambodians all over town every morning and pick them up then warehouse them until the next shift.

Donations that are meant for the poor are diverted into the pockets of BMA & Police. Do the math. It's millions per month.

    Now you know.

All I know is your theory which I believe is wrong. What happened to the Police this time around?

anyone know where you can buy cayenne pepper from. Apart from Lazada? Cheers.

Just buy chili powder that is Thai made. Ground dried Thai chilis. Lately the avocadoes I have been getting are 50 baht for big Haas ones. 3-5 days and have been wonderful, very green and creamy inside. Been making excellent guacamole.

    Salsa fresca, chips and guacamole.

Every person I know who has tried to get his GF a U.S. VIsa the past several years has been denied.  Some several times.  I am surprised they even asked her questions usually they throw a piece of paper at them and tell them to leave.

If you get far enough for an interview this would not happen. Pretty sweeping statement of non fact.  Also the OP would have no idea what happened. Only the applicant can even enter the embassy.
