Is slippery bathroom tile mandated by law?
marin replied to DudleySquat's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Mine is not and never has been. Two houses over 30 years and have never encountered what you are talking about. In fact have not even noticed that in hotels I have stayed in. Now patterned tiles on house car parks are a different story, have run across those occasionally on a rainy day. -
Do you plan on going there for your "", colon irrigation" or sponsoring your nephew who is immature to go to there rather than Pattaya? Seems to me you might be lonely and putting up these threads just for someone to talk to.

I read it as he wants to be here when there are the most tourists. Seems he thinks the amount of working girls is tied to how many tourists are around, and he wants the biggest selection possible. January is just as busy as December and February.

You never mention this in your OP. Wow, get up on the wrong side of the bed today?

You dont live here, and really know little to nothing about Thailand base on your posts. Again it was quite the rant. Perhaps India next year with your love of basmati.

You had enough problems while you were in the LOS. You are not even in Thailand. You fled because of something growing on your ass. What brought on this out of the blue rant?
-
Bingo, the last one I saw was just at 40 years ago in my first apartment in BKK. Where have you seen them?

For 5 baht a day I have my own playlists, and all the playlists Spotify has made for me over the years. Much more hands free than Youtube IMHO.

Luckily my car does not have blue tooth but does have a USB port for charging. No interference at all.
-
I use Spotify daily in my car. My Vios is an entry model and has no blue tooth so I use a cord with a plug into the cars audio system and the jack for the phone into the phone. In the wife's car just tune it in with blue tooth once and it recognizes my phone. With the good coverage in Thailand I am rarely without tunes. Easy peasy as I am a tech dummy.

Are you still out there socially at your age ?
marin replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Have you ever actually lived here in the LOS? Not stayed a few months, but lived here and interacted in Thai society. -
Order off the website. He is Thai and was very surprised how fast all his weed sold when the "Farungs" found out about it. On his message service there he told me they were out of the good stuff and he would let me know when it was in again. Its a pity you had a problem, but I would not make a big deal out of the 300 baht loss. In the future I believe this will be a good source. I must also say this is my before bed weed as I prefer the good buzz of top quality bud. That I pay 200 per gram for the popcorn buds and am happy with that.

Forget Mexican food in Thailand. I learned that the hard way. I have not found that to be the case at all. Avocados are always available, Along with Pok Chee or corriander leaves, onions both red a white also. They have Mission wraps which are the best flour tortillas you will find here. They carry dried pinto beans, along with cumin and Mexican chili powder. Tomatoes both tinned and fresh are always there and they carry more than one kind of tortilla chips. What more do you want. You have guacamole, salsa cruda, and tacos, burritos or enchiladas to your hearts content. Few days ago whipped up this carnitas pork, perfect with some cheese topped refried beans along with fresh salsa.

Thankfully its not connected to the house. But they are going to have to pull it down this year, as they can't get doors or windows to close anymore, even having them planed several times is just prolonging the inevitable.

Up2U. I had to take out a beautiful sala that covered the sunken water tank, so the tank went as well along with our biggest mango tree in order to get the piling machine in the correct place. But once again its the only way to stop it. Our neighbor went your way, his kitchen is now leaning about 20 degrees off center.

Bingo, The only way to stop the sinking is with pilings. I learned the hard way by doing what you want to do. It cost a fortune to dig out all the rebar and concrete I had put in on my back porch that was only slightly sinking. Had to dig it all up 5 years later and put in the pilings due to said sinking. Well its not sinking anymore.
