Opinion: Dear Pheu Thai, please stop your pantomime
Tropicalevo replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I totally agree with Toolong. Excellent piece of penmanship. Unfortunately, there may be a libel case or too coming along next. Thank God there are some honest news sources. -

This PM has already admitted that he lied on his promises during the election campaign. He has changed his mind to appease his political opponents and to win votes. What makes anyone think that he will keep this promise? -
That IS impressive. ????

Good luck Thaksin. A friend of mine was taken there when he had been shot. He died after being there for 9 hours. When I went to collect his body and pay the bill, it was only for bandages. No surgery, no doctors fees. etc. He had been left to slowly die on a trolley in a corridor.

Wrong. I was hit by a truck that a friend and I were trying to get started after it died in one of Samui's floods. The bonnet was up. No one in the truck. Said friend was doing something to the starting motor when the engine suddenly started and the unmanned truck drove forward, went up a dozen steps and finally stopped when it hit a tree. All of the Thais watching started praying for the 'ghost' that was driving the truck. It had an automatic gearbox and had been left in drive. Said gearbox was not a factory install. The truck was converted at some time. The insurance rep tore up the report that I had written for him and asked me to sign a blank claim which he filled in later. Strange but true.

Anutin Congratulates Srettha on Becoming Prime Minister
Tropicalevo replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I would rather ask the question 'is he good for the majority of the pisspoor people'? Thaksin was the first PM who was good for them. That is why the rich/military kicked him out. -
Bangkok Cabbie Returns Wallet with 370K Baht to Bangladeshi Tourist

Tourists carry that much money in cash. Especially if they are not supposed to bring it out of the originating country. I have checked in guests with bagfuls of cash - especially tourists from the Middle East, China, and India/Pakistan etc. -
Same here.

I have had high levels of uric acid (gout) forever. But none of the pain. At 26 doc recommended a special diet. (Yes - no alcohol for 6 months.) After 6 months, no change so I ditched the diet and also started drinking again. Then in my early 60's I started to have painful attacks - frequently. A doctor friend recommended that I start to take allopurinol on a daily basis. Have to start when there is no pain. Since then, no pain, no attacks for the last 12 years. See your doc to get advise on the correct dosage.

Grab the land before India does? Similar to what Russia has done in the Arctic. -
Where an I buy an acid reflux pillow in Pattaya.
Tropicalevo replied to NONG CHOK's topic in Pattaya
Sorry, I cannot answer your question, but my solution to fix the acid reflux problem was to raise the head of the bed up by 2-3 inches. Since then, no acid reflux. -

Well done that lady. Good way to ensure that your man behaves himself whilst you are working. -
Not in my group of friends and neighbours. All of the people that work for me want cash twice a month for their salary.
