Nothing will happen. There have been scandals going on for years. Look at Alpine golf club, the land was acquired illegally, the courts ruled that the land must be returned. The land is still in the hands of influential people, and some of the politicians involved can not be punished because of statute had expired.

When will anything be accomplished on the investigation into the attempted murder of Sondhi? His vehicle was shot up in broad daylight while he was going to work. It just so happened that all the police CCTV cameras were how working in that area

How dies invoking section 44 hep with airline safety .. is it a majic section and now suddenly all is perfect in the airline industry?
Have you read Article 44?
Section 44 empowers the NCPO leader to issue any order "for the sake of the reforms in any field, the promotion of love and harmony amongst the people in the nation, or the prevention, abatement or suppression of any act detrimental to national order or security, royal throne, national economy or public administration, whether the act occurs inside or outside the kingdom". The orders so issued are all deemed "lawful, constitutional and final".
With invoking 44, he than can go streight to the source of the process problem.

Employment agencies have cautioned job seekers to be less particular about work, saying that overly-critical choices can do more harm than good.
Could it be that the potential employees, do trust the employment agencies. How many Thais have wound up as slave labor in Finland, Israel, United States and god knows were else. Than there is the policy of paying the agencies hundreds of thousand baht.

This is good training for the Singaporean Air Force. There are numerous Singaporean unit that are being trained. Singapore does not have the space or terrain difference to train their military. Thailand is graciously assisting another ASEAN nation.

Very interesting, this can not be Red Shirts, because they would not do anything like this. They follow the orders of their Supreme Leader, residing in the shade of a date palm tree, drinking Sadiki.

Another excuse for unnecessary spending of money?

I find this very interesting. The PM of Thailand has been disallowed from going to the USA, while it allows an convicted criminal on the run from the law to go. The American law, as I understand it will not allow a visa to anyone that has been convicted in a court of law. It still allowed Thakisin Shinitawatra to travel to the US after he was convicted by the court for corruption, while his Brother-in-Law, was PM.
BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha said he is not permitted to travel to the United States.
Read the above bi line carefully. There is a difference between not being allowed to travel and not being invited.
I am quite sure the General can travel to the US when ever he pleases, being invited to a state dinner at the White House is a totally different thing.
So are you telling me that the Obama administration, caters to rich criminals, on the run, but not heads of state?

This temple has been investigated many times over the last thirty years. There are also other temples in Pathum Tani that have been investigated, There still not a resolution to the golf course and resort being built on temple land. The Alpine Golf Club and Resort was ordered to be returned to the temple.

This had gone on for some time before he was 'caught".
I'm sure the reason was that he had some "friends" protecting him.
Had the Junta not taken over his "friends" would still be there to protect him. and nobody would be the wiser.
The investigation into this pre-dates the junta by months.
It might predate the Junta, but the previous liberal government did not do anything.

Every time the government fights violent extremists, the International Human Rights left wing liberals scream human rights violation. They say nothing about the killing of teachers, murder of school children or car bombs. It is time to go on the offensive, or else there will be an increase of terrorist activities, The extremist are not limited to IS, but also those controlled by organized crime family's.

We must remember the thousands of innocent citizens that were murdered during the Thaksin war on drugs. Accountability must happen.

However, he stressed that Thailand's democracy, the move towards it, is different from the US, where democracy is gained mainly through elections.
And I was laboring under the impression that the Untied States of America is a republic and an oligarchy.
If having an election indicates democracy, than North Korea, Zimbabwe and Iran are democracies. France and the USA have elections but are republics. The laws in one country are not the same in others.

This process is being done in Thailand already, in the companies that make plastic containers and bottles,

The overthrow of the monarchy during the first coup did not bring democracy. All we have had is one corrupt government after the other. There have been two PM that tried to make Thailand better, Prem worked hard and so did Anan.

The government employees involved in corruption should be happy. If this was like other ASEAN countries in the area they would be executed for corruption.

He is coming to tell Thailand what to do. The US Government knows best.

Thank you General Prem. There is allot of mistrust through the world. Some of the mistrust here in Thailand is being fueled by external factions, some religious, some politically connected influential people.
