Hi, I'm attaching a Google map screenshot. After passing Saphanmai BTS station and cross over the bridge you will see this airforce entrance. They are not scrict about having the pass since building the bts I haven't renenewd mine since 2019!and get to go through often. Once you enter the airforce you turn left and keep going, once you pass the only bangchak petrol station in there and follow the road, you will see the plane behind an open fence, on your right. As I said I used to see it for years until I deflcided to stop and take pic with wife. Since they're are building a new golf car park there and there is a lot of construction there going on I'm not 100% if the. plane it's still there. I m going out tomorrow, and since I only live on the other side of Saphanmai bts, I will try to go and have a look and let you know. Hope this helps. Hello forum, Just an update. We were able to find a local optisian here in North of Bangkok, and he made an eyesight report in English certifying that my wife can read an eyechart as advised from Service NSW call centre, We just email it today to service nsw and will wait for few days before ringing thrn to see if it's acceptable /approved. This is for my wife nsw gold driving licence expired 25 November 2021 (mine expires in March). If tjey accepted it then I will go ahead and renew her licence online through service nsw app. Few for the service!! Free!! (Only cause my sister in law is a regular.) But they will not charge much for it, I heard less than 400 baht roughly!! We tried so many places with not much success, and the ones they do it where asking for 2-3,000 Baht at least. Hope this helps others. If anyone wants the local optisian number/details please send private msg. ????????

If you ring thr hospital, that you did yr first vaccine and they took yr pink id number to register, they will add your full name in English after the Mr. Or Ms. Wife rang they did hers and mine appeared on the app within 20 minutes. Now ever field on the certificate shows both languages and was accepted by our doctor in Australia to upload our vaccines to Medicare through AIR(Australia immunisation register) Easy peazy

Picked up today the rest of the extension, no covid extra extension was given, As per every year, I had to submit a copy of the bankbook updated today the 3rd of November Took less than 5 minutes @ immigration Bkk to submit and receive the passport. Thanks everyone for the input good to go until 31 October 2022 ????

Good Morning do you hsve that copy of the correct eyesight test? I've been on the phone to service nsw twice this morning regrading wife's and mine nsw licence. I was told, since we are able to renew it online, just do it and then they will send you a letter asking for the eye test to submitted within 8weeks. I asked the operator if it's OK to do the test here the same day we renew the license. She said yes you can just email it bsck to them. It's just an eye test able to read the chart thsts all. Not sure if they will send a specific form to fill in by an optometrist since they simply ask a doctor/optician to certify you can read an eyechart. The worst case can happen is if don't approved the simple letter to certify that you can read a chart, is for them to suspend the licence until you get back to Sydney and do that test at the service nsw centre. All that just because both of us just turn 45 ????

AMP got this tellpin(6 digit pin) that u need to tell thrn every time u have to deal with them on the phone or through the online chat. Since 2020 they are paying me a much higher interest rate than the commonwealth. Basically my commonwealth bank is 0.01 balance its only the credit card that I kept since its a big credit card limit that I would never get back if I fotrteid it. I just tested to update my details and the code was successfully received through the comm app. ????

Good evening. I been with the coomon wealth bsnk since 1992. Few years ago since amp gsve a much better rate I changed to them. Recently I had an issue with receiving sms from threm using DTAC. It took thrn few days to investigate and finally I'm now able to receive thrn on my thai number. As you mentioned lots of places back home, here in Thailand and in Greece have my thai number so changing the number isn't an option. Lastly have u tried download the commonwealth bank app? When I was stranded in Sydney last year I got thrn to set up it that way that any sms codes needed are NOW coming up on the app instead of an sms. Hope this helps, I un your frustration no matter whenever I call thr commonwealth bank it's always a long and expensive wait

Since the latest update, you only get the option to collect and pay for it by cash. Sometimes when I check it randomly it does not even work. Hit and miss ????

Mor prom app was updated this afternoon with an extra option button, I am now able to order end international certificate online and you get a choice of picking it up, post it or send it to your email. At the bottom of it the payment options appeared as cash (when you go to pick up) Or bank transfer..... I'm not in a hurry to order one but it's good to see an improvement. BTW my covid certificate and health pass worked the minute my second dose was given, not sure why I read msny people are having issues. Hope this helps ????

I renewed my 5 years license back in December 2020 at the Department of Land Transport Chatuchak, Bangkok , and the medical certificate wasn't required. I can confirm from the 19th of February 2021 it is now a requirement when going from 5 to 5-year license!. Btw I went to the site the dlt-elearning.com and tried it out. Despite my license expires 2026 the system allows me to watch the video, <deleted>!! go figure......lol I logged using using my pink id number which I got them to change it from my passport number when renewed in December 2020, In any event, as previously mentioned it's always a good idea to have a Thai speaker (wife ) with you when visit.
