  1. Ah, what a lot of BS, talk about conspiracy theories. I suppose just like all our hero Snowden. Russian agent too, huh? Do you wear a (commie red) MAGA hat too? On the other hand, we could sacrifice Steven Seagull, nobody will miss him.
  2. He's not an American citizen. Are you implying that American jurisdiction now rules the world? And you don't know what possible verdict there would be. Death penalty is one of them, but 200 years jail term in a maximum security prison is much similar. Personally, I would chose death.... One of his objections to the extradition is that as he is not a US citizen, he would not be afforded the same legal rights. Also, do people staying in a normal prison just get up and flee? Haven't heard that yet. You are obviously a former law enforcer or even a legal person, with an undeniable trust in the legal system. C'mon CH, take the red pill and face the reality. And, as an aside, I think that everybody should watch that helicopter footage before making up their mind. Undeniably disgusting, and just showing the arrogance of our new Master Race. They and their Commander in Chief should be on trial, not getting medals.
  3. You didn't answer my question. So skipping bail is a crime on par with terrorism or premeditated murder? OK, next time let's erect the gallows for all those bail runners. Even if they run the bail for minor crimes, or as was the case of Julian, a request for an interview by the Swedish DA.
  4. And you know this how? "The wheels of justice grind slowly. But even if it takes 50 years, we guarantee you'll get justice".
  5. Yeah, I get you. Skipping bail for no offence get's you locked up in a high security prison together with terrorists, rapists, murderers, serial killer and such. Oh, sweet justice!!! Is everybody who skips bail locked up in Belmarsh?
  6. And the farce continues. Just let Julian go. He has suffered enough just for exposing the dirty deeds of the US government and their dirty war. This is just comical. The court grants him the right to file an appeal. So back to Belmarsh and pickle there for the next couple of years, while the "justice" is being administered. This issue should have been resolved within a year of Julian being picked up from the Ecuadorian embassy. Any reason why they keep him in a high security prison? Is he such a dangerous "criminal"?
  7. Right, we all know the governments follow the written rules and treaties. If he went to Sweden to face those bogus sex charges, he would have ended up in US custody. There is no doubt in my mind about that. So what about those secret CIA torture sites in Eastern European countries, is there a treaty for that too?
  8. Release some cats in the area. They will sort them out in no time. The cats will probably not even eat them, just like the hunt and kill. Great predators... Didn't have rodent or squirrel problem since my cat moved in. Got a few "gifts" from him too. And better than a guard dog, bites anybody he doesn't recognize, unless they are with any of us.
  9. Spirolonactone is available. I'm getting my mine from the local gov hospital as part of my bi-monthly clinic visit. The cost is 150 baht for 100 tablets. Probably slightly more at a private pharmacy.
  10. "Kap, pom yoo baan".. I'm home All the delivery services know where I live, but sometimes you get a new guy, and he'll ask for directions. I give the phone to my wife to explain, and he still gets lost!
  11. Actually, you can transfer the money in Lazada wallet to your bank account. The instructions are on the Lazada website somewhere. However, you must use the Lazada phone app to do it. Can't do on the website. Happened to me recently where I had to prepay, and then cancelled. The refund went to the wallet, but Lazada sent me email saying I could move the money to my bank account. The money was in the account within a week.
  12. How so? It's not the first time the Eurovision is held in Malmö.
  13. I have even better approach to the drug problem. Decriminalize all drugs, let all the junkies kill themselves off, and sell through pharmacies at normal prices and tax. It seems to work in Portugal. Of course, it will never happen here. Too many high ups make tones of money from illegal drugs, starting with the law enforcers (aka RTP).
  14. It would be better if they scrapped the silly ban on alcohol sales between 14-17. Just ridiculous. Somewhere I've read that the ban has been removed, but somehow it has not permeated to the retail chains.
  15. You are describing exactly my situation. I have tried to research the issue of the last will, and came to the conclusion that I would need three wills, One for Thailand, covering Thai assets only, one for home country, which would also cover country where my relatives live, and one for the offshore account. Alternately, I think, one will could probably cover home county and offshore account if it was bi-lingual. Not a big deal really, apart from finding witnesses, and where to store the wills.
  16. Let's not forget who is really in charge of the government, and his war on drugs some years back when he was de facto PM.
  17. If it can't be user disabled in this version, could it be positioned closer to the bottom of the page. I think it would be much less obtrusive there.
  18. You mentioned that only dinosaurs use towers in a derogatory manner. Had to correct you... And no, I never used my mobile to view AN, it's just not what I would want to do when I'm "out and about". AN is not my primary interest in life.
  19. I agree with you on tablet use. I have one too which I take with me to places where I would have to wait for longer, like hospital, or the car workshop while my car is serviced. But in your post you mentioned phones, not tablets. But for serious gaming you will never beat a high end CPU, high end GPU in a tower with water cooling and a high res monitor(s) with your phones and pads.. You don't have to be a dinosaur for that.
  20. You know, he just forgets that it's the "dinosaurs" that created Internet, integrated circuits, PC's, and even smart phones... among other things, like SR-71 Blackbird that could do Mach3+ 60 years ago. I could go on forever..
  21. Sure.. I just wonder how my games would look on a 5 inch screen... And how I would play them without WASD. Do the phones come now with high end graphic cards? Last time I looked, even the low end graphic cards were something like 3 times bigger than the large phones. Or how would I access my customer's datacenter without my laptop, or tower. It's called progress. And, unlike Transam, I have 3x24" screens on my desk.... Beat you there quarter miler!! 5555 You know, there are people that do more on their PCs than just access AN... You're welcome too..
  22. Seriously? Thought only Gen Z were glued to their phones. How can anybody possibly get any meaningful info on a 5 inch screen. It's like Concorde. 21 years ago it took only 4 hours to cross the Atlantic, now it takes 11. We are regressing.... Thank you Gen Z crowd, you will not be remembered. Perhaps it's time to run a survey on what equipment members access the AN. Is it possible to select more than one choice on surveys?
  23. Is there a way to disable this green arrow thing? All keyboards have Home and End key that are much better and faster to use.
  24. AI powered.... Be afraid, be very afraid....
  25. Not even close. 650km south of Manilla. Just north of Mindanao Island.
