Yep. He does.
However, the 3 I pointed out don't require wife present.
Information that may be useful to some posters. That's what forums are sll about.
At some offices.
Buriram, Korat and Surin I have never taken my wife. I'm sure there are other immigration offices the same but these are the 3 I can confirm.
There have been several posts on this topic about immigration in general and personal views, yet you pick on only one?
Personally, I think all personal experiences are relevant. It helps to show rules that are wide spread as apposed to at single Immigration offices. It helps to show if its worth arguing or not. It also shows how such experiences can be sorted out.
You quite often post about being in a place where you are the only one or one of two or three expats. Whether it's in town, in the village or at your school. Now at immigration. I am intrigued to know of a province in Isaan where there are so few expats. Please tell.
No no no and no.
I have only ever taken my wife to immigration once. Even then she sat and just listened.
I know far more about immigration in Thailand than my wife does.
Much much easier to do things myself.
It's the pro agent brigade that caused the problems. Immigration officers, especially those in the tourist areas, no want everyone to use them so they can get their bung.
Ray Hotel and Sita Princess are good hotels. Both have swimming pools.
There was an expat with motorcycle rental on the corner of the entrance to the bus station.
Not sure about NCA to Chiang Mai. ( just checked the website. Still showing. You might need to search Ubon to Chiang Mai, as that is where the bus starts.)
I said nothing about being discriminated against. You don't know how old I am so don't know how you think you can comment.
If travel insurance companies believe you are too high a risk then there must be something wrong.
I did say " reconsider" your options.
By using "up to this point" you are not predicting the future.
That is why it should be used.
I have never rejected the idea of evaluations. However, the results should be " it is failing" or " it is being successful", up to that point.
One cannot put a time on it. Should UK rejoin, thus Brexit cease, that would be a good time to be able to evaluate.
In the mean time, any opinion should be followed by " up to this point in time" or similar.

Just 2 for you to peruse.
My posts have been clear all along.
It is possible to talk about negative impacts thus far, although Covid and Ukraine war must be factored in, but impossible to say Brexit is a failure as it is ongoing.
The other topic is about Brexit being a failure or success. I, for one, gave tried to explain it is impossible to say, so far, as it is ongoing.
The above is far more debatable as it is talking about what has happened so far.
Indeed. However, as the subject matter is UK and it was UK making a decision, I used discrimination against non UK companies as the example. I know how you like to keep on topic.
Erroneously, as I pointed out. It cannot be deemed a failure as it, currently, is infinite.
Should it come to an end, UK rejoin???, everyone can then look back and comment.
Actually, the rules at the time meant the UK government did not know the identity of the bidders.
It was an EU law supposedly aimed at avoiding discrimination against non UK companies.
There is no mention in the poll about mistakes.
The question is whether Brexit is a success or failure.
Something that is impossible to answer in its entirety right now.
How long until we will know? It's,a piece of string.
It's a shame she's been targeted just because of her husband's job. Does she get tax credits in India because she pays in UK too? No. She's double wammied.
People seem to think Non Dom is only for the rich. Really? NO.
