No, he hasn't been teaching illegally. Please read, digest and try to understand prior to making inane comments. -
Biggest Ever Swing in By-Election
youreavinalaff replied to Chomper Higgot's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
It's been quite clear for sometime there will be a change of the guard in parliament. Labour will likely win a majority. That will let them attempt to put their policies into action. The big hurdle is money. There isn't any. -

It seems your conspiracies answer your questions. It likely goes on but it's not the norm anymore. -
Which cities in Isaan are the most English friendly?
youreavinalaff replied to smallchungus's topic in Isaan
He'll need to know which province, district, sub district he'll be staying in first. That way he'll know from which Isaan language he should pick up some phrases and words. Failing that, Thai will work equally as well. -
They will uses T20 or The Hundred formats. Matches last about 5 hours max. There was a time when sports persons were only welcome at Olympics if they were amateur. Anyone who had previously been paid for competing was banned. Some sports still adhere to that rule. Many don't. I'd welcome most of your suggested sports if that rule was reinstated.

The OP asked for a place "near" to Ubon within a three hour "drive". Not "flight". Besides, quickest Ubon to Phuket flight is in the region of 3.5 hours, return over 4. Add the drive time to the airport and the waiting time, etc. 5+ hours. It's obvious you are attempting to continue putting Isaan down in almost all respects. However, your disdain does not do the OP any favours. To the OP, I would be inclined to travel along the Mehkong heading north. There are some lovely spots. You will unlikely find all the activities you are looking for but you will certainly find a nice "retreat".

This world cup was spoiled before it even started. The seedings and groups were made far too early. Ireland v New Zealand quarter final should not have been allowed to happen. Neither should France v South Africa. To have, potentially, England and Argentina in the semi final whilst Ireland and France or South Africa out at quarter final stage is ridiculous. All that coming from me, an Englishman.

Which cities in Isaan are the most English friendly?

Most, if not all, domestic flights within Thailand fly to and from Bangkok. Korat is only 2.5 to 3 hours to/from Bangkok by road. Too close to make it worthwhile flying -

Are you suggesting Thais are being unfriendly simply because they don't speak English? -

Which cities in Isaan are the most English friendly?

I did not. I pointed out there is no individual language called "Isaan". There are a collective of Isaan languages. -

Incorrect. Many natives of Isaan speak a regional dialect which is one of the collective Isaan languages.
