Same when parking; double park, triple park, completely block in other motorbikes. They dont give a [deleted] about others!

The 1st leg would have been really easy; virtually just drifting down with the current, but swimming back would have been hard work against the flow. I suspect that to please the crowds he swam downstream close to the Thai shore then maybe crossed the river directly just north of the sandbank, where it is quite wide, and then downstream close to the Laos shore for the spectators there. If a similar route on return this could add the distance to make it a 15k swim.

I am just trying to help out after reading on here last year that someone's card reader had expired and they couldnt get a new one from their UK bank. Others posted similarly. I return to the UK every summer, and after switching banks a few times, which is quite lucrative in the UK, I have 3 card readers to spare. No one will be asked to provide me with their bank details.

All UK banks which require the use of a card reader. Their use is not restricted to the bank that issued them.

If you already have a joint bank account with Santander, I would think it would be straightforward to open another in your name only with them, and pay Wise from this account.

If you dont know, you dont need one.
