  1. Trump: A dangerous unstable CLOWN.

Why? Because he wants America to be for Americans ? Or because he wants Americans to have jobs instead of illegal immigrants? Or because he does not want people who are happy to see dead Americans?

A clown who can make billions is by far better than a politician under someone's thumb

Who is going to do all your shit jobs and agriculture at $4/HR.The mighty US of A would grind to a halt without your working poor and illegals. How much does the clown really have,it's all just paper bought with other fools money. All piss and wind, you deserve what you get.Remember that other clown that sent the country broke. He was a Reb too wasn't he.America for Americans, yeah,as long as you all stay behind that fence and don't come out and annoy the rest of us.America.the gated country.

  2. I would think a judge or magistrate would throw out a trivial vindictive case of that nature against a minor .

From what I read , her expression of public opinion about the company is not slander , it is arguable that it is the truth , in a neighbourhood where people are unhappy about the mine .

I believe arsenic is found in conjunction with gold that could poison the local water supply .

What has a company to gain from suing a minor , who cannot be held responsible as an adult ? A Big Fine ? But she has No money .

The bad publicity will far outweigh any compensation .

A judge could make a very big issue out of such a case , find in favour of the accused and make the gold company pay all the costs .

I am not sure, but it doesn't matter if it is the truth, she still showed the company in a bad light.Thai logic.

  3. When I look at the amount of empty shelves, and products that are replaced by a low cost noodle soup or whatever at Big C extra in Pattaya, I get the impression that they are selling out for quite some time already.

Maybe Big C could be like 7 and just sell takeaway noodles to Chinese tour groups.Plenty of room to park, just keep em away from the shopping trolleys, must have license. You know it makes sense.

  4. There does seem to be a get out if your a Guest house or hotel you can still sell booze.

A friend of mine who owns a bar restaurant opposite a School, has turned one of his rooms into a rented one on paper things are fine.

Has altered his sign to read Bar Restaurant and guest house now legal as far as the law goes.

I did ask how much he was charging reply it's free but sorry to say it's always full. As the kids sleep there.

Quick thinking Thai has already circumnavigated the new law weeks before it becomes a problem

Now watch the rest of the dumber ones copy his idea and by next year everyone else will be able to sell it, by hook or by crook....

Wholesale is not affected either so all they have to do is ask you to buy the whole box and that's OK too....

I've done it a few times when the were reluctant to sell just a few, I think 24 was the required amount.... But the more there is available, the more a lot of people will probably consume... Lol

That's ok until it comes to Johnny Black my mate wanted to buy me for showing his family around.Helpful check out chick at Lotus said he could buy a carton.

  5. What's with the magic 300 metres,is that as far as Thai kids will go when they want a drink.ID check, simple and heavy fines for selling to the underaged. But,many moons ago i can remember getting served in the front bar at 16.2 years later the hotel manager presented me a prize for best and fairest footy player, as the coach proudly announced i was still under 18(legal drinking age). The look on the managers face was priceless.Told him only another 3 weeks to go.

  6. Hmm, they probably mean the vans working officially, with a yellow plate, but nothing about the many thousands working, illegally, with basic plates (not authorised for carrying paying passengers)...

And not to speak about busses, I recently was 'kindly' (not that very) 'invited' on one, instead of a van, between Surrathani airport and Dhonsak, the thing from the dynosaurs age was totally unsafe, with seats hanging on pieces of ironwire, the safety belts cut off, 'inside moisturizing' through dripping aircon vents, a layer of mold everywhere where velvet might have been, the odd part falling off at every bump, rust everywhere, ...and as good as no brakes, worn out tyres, to the cord, a broken gearbox, and thick black smoke outside at every movement on the gaspedal (for a part inside the cabin too...), plus, was the, very, very young, driver having any kind of driving license, or just a member of the family...?

I'm not a religious man, and I hadn't been praying since a domestic flight in Russia, but I did, a lot, over the time it took to race(!) us, by mistake, to the Radja ferry pier, instead of the Seatran one...

Thank you very much, Thai Air Asia! 'Auf nimmer wiedersehen'!

T.i.T., although for sure ...T.A.T. would deny it!

After all that and you still got on,hypocrite.

  7. I hate to be a wet blanket ,but i had this problem a few years ago , they just tried to get money out of me ,more than the stuff was worth , in the end i told them to put it where the monkey puts his nuts , never send anything with any of the carriers ,only normal post

    Yes, that is correct.

    The worst one is DHL.

Never send any goods to Thailand by DHL, Fedex, TNT, UPS, EMS, etc.

USPS priority post is not recommended as the packages are handled by EMS customs in Bangkok.

They like to extort money from foreigners.

Only send by ordinary Air Mail Registered.

But if time sensitive better FedEx, TNT, UPS....at least they don't loose it.

According to my experience Thailand Post is one of the best postal services in the world..

The chances they can lose a registered package are 1 to 10000

The courier service like FedEx, TNT, UPS is recommended only for non dutable items (documents, small gifts).

I once sent some magazines from Oz to Ko Chang.18 months later after several trips to K Ch,mate thanked me for the mags.At 1st i didn't know what he was on about.then i remembered.18 months, and a lot of postmarks, but it made it.

  8. Interesting to see how the three original stars in the new movie have aged.

Mark Hamill has aged badly, shockingly so. I think Star Wars killed his career.

Carrie Fisher's face has been the victim of extensive plastic surgery. She looks nothing like Princess Leia anymore.

Only Harrison Ford has grown old gracefully.

What about Chewy,he still looks ok.

  9. I've stopped road running because of dog attacks - no sense in getting fit & contracting rabies.

Living in Thailand you should get the anti-rabies jab, they are very cheap and not painful.

If you can only run where you might be bothered by dogs you could try the small mace sprays that are easy to obtain but most Thai dogs are deterred by a stick. Something light like a 1/2 m lenght of plastic water pipe should do the job. But you and all your family should get the rabies jabs.

Maybe walk your run for a few days and feed the dogs a few titbits and pat them, works for me.

  10. Could any1 shed some light on just how the bank detected the fake cards? just curious.....

I saw scamming in action on a Sunday in Chiang Mai a few years ago at a Kasakorn bank.

I stood back, when they left with a pile of it I made my withdrawel.

I noted the time and went to the Bank Monday morning and spoke to manager, he said he could look at the cctv, I said the guys b4 me on the film.

I left the Bank did not want to get involved anymore than that.

I have noticed that Kasakorn Banks name pops up a lot when scammers are caught.

    A link maybe???

How do you know he was scamming? And then you made your withdrawal, dear me.

  11. Good that they were caught in thailand.Hopefully they will serve a few years in a hell hole thai prison, where as if caught in canad with our bleeding heart liberal judge's and people they would do easy time with only a six month to one year in jail that is a place of leasure with all the conveniences of home and more.Hope the thai judge comes down really hard on these scum bag's.

We never, ever get follow up on these cases,so we are all in the dark.Is it too much to ask TVF to go the extra yard.If the crime is not commit against a Thai national,it is a minor offence. That's why the scammers come here.True or false.

  12. Could any1 shed some light on just how the bank detected the fake cards? just curious.....

Probably through the credit card company getting a notification from a bank who had a transaction queried by a customer.

If anything goes out of my account nowadays, I get an SMS straight away.

As soon as money is withdrawn from a non nominated country, alarm bells go off and customer is rung up.Especially Thailand.

  13. "Ivan Todorov Ivanov". Sounds like a real Canadian name to me!!!

Sadly when a country opens its doors to immigrants and refugees like Canada does you have to take the good with the bad. I can understand to some degree the Donald's wish to have proper vetting of new arrivals. Once they leave their port of entry they are GONE!

Donald is a pompous dill. You don't think they check properly now.If a human touches it there are bound to be mistakes, nothing is 100% perfect

  14. I see we have some posters already putting the blame on the victim.

We should merge this thread with the other thread about the Brit getting bashed by LBs.

The apologists for these criminals is staggering.

I guess the next excuse we hear will be that you shouldn't come to Thailand if you don't know the risks of a being mugged, assaulted, scammed or murdered.blink.png

Your next excuse is spot on,people have to take responsibility for their own actions.Meth and addicted ladyboys is not a safe enviroment to put ones self.
