Trump found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records
BusyB replied to webfact's topic in World News
The defense accepted the jury as seated without further demur. And the jury vote was unanimous. Stop trying to enable a fraudulent felon, grifter, sexual assaulter and out and out disgusting liar who would sell the US to Putin, Xi and Little Missile Man if the Price is Right. If you are successful don't think it won't affect you badly sooner or later. Discrimination and hatred and impunity know no bounds or exceptions once installed in power. And everyone suffers. Everyone. Even those who think they're safe. -
Trump found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records
BusyB replied to webfact's topic in World News
The convicted felon has never yet won. He was SE-lected in 2016 by the screwed up 'electoral college' rubbish, not E-lected. He won't win this time either - decent people are generally in the majority. But the actually rigged part of the system may yet again see the loser of the vote installed in the WH. Interesting days. -

New Chinese BYD Model Can Travel 2000 km On A Single Charge!
BusyB replied to connda's topic in The Green Forum
This why the US (and potentially EU as well - although there are different considerations involved there) are considering tariffs on Chinese autos. They are dumping over production just like with steel ... China has some interesting economic conundrums to get to grips with. -

Petch need a good pat on the back here if not indeed a generous wage hike. How delightful to read an article that is a clearly written, easy to read, logically constructed, interesting narrative with fascinating details, which also introduces genuinely related news without actually stating 'related news'. 👍👍👍 -

Apology Fails to Alter Sentencing for Man Who Attacked Pelosi’s Husband
BusyB replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It was a political act - not only against the Pelosi's, it was an act of political terrorism against the state institution of Congress. Shouldn't be handled any different to nazi/islamist/leftist terrorism. Maximum sentences. -

Staffer pays the price for dine-and-dash at Phuket cafe
BusyB replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
This lot were experts and knew exactly how to fool the staff. Mistakes get made. It's part of doing business ... just like breakages and shrinkage. Obviously if a staffer is regularly screwing up then that raises other issues - especially if it's costing money. But for a one-off like that, taking 285 baht off a presumably minimum wage day's earnings is deplorable. Either that or the business is so badly run it can't afford 285 baht. Miserable feudal society practices. -

BusyB replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
It's really disgusting and exploitative - especially given already exploitative wage levels and conditions. Jesus if you can't give your staff a 285 baht one-off break under those circumstances you are an utter scum-bag.- 25 replies

Reputation. Personally I wouldn't want to have a reputation like that bunch and if I did I'd be very quiet after all that's gone down. Streisand effect - I'd never even heard about this February event till now 555. -

Hooked: Foreigner makes waves, takes a dip in fish spa (video)
BusyB replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
"Health risks include the potential for bacteria and germs to enter the human body through the fish, especially for those with foot wounds. Additionally, the tanks can become a breeding ground for germs after multiple people use them. Animal rights activists also point out that the tanks are not suitable habitats for Garra rufa fish, also known as doctor fish, and that dead skin is not their natural food source. The fish are starving, so they have had to eat dead skin to survive." Wow! Petch's reporting take s a huge leap forward for accuracy and clarity! Kudos! -

This is pathetic AfD brownshirt sewage. Edit: AS are all the following posts I've flown over because I can't be bothered to waste my life on such twaddle. To many of your sorts hiding in LOS as well. -
Are they paid to call a jury's integrity into question even before a verdict has been reached (or after for that matter)? Anyway Habba is the last lawyer I'd want defending me - she's thick as porcine faeces and utterly incompetent to boot. Of course that makes her a hero to the Maga mob because they can all identify with that. Besides which her 'arguments' here are also utterly specious. The defense had plenty of chance to challenge the jury during selection and accepted it as seating. God these clowns are so damn tiresome. Yet so many dupes buy into it.
