Attorney General Eric Holder and IRS Lois Lerner, et.al, did the same as Bannon but were given a pass as they are part of the same Left-wing machine as the current DOJ. Which is Lawfare: prosecuting political enemies while giving a pass to your own for committing the identical offenses. This is why the Left-wing is scared 💩-less. They know that a Trump DOJ will indict those who were given passes by the Biden DOJ as quid pro quo. However if Trump goes after his political enemies in the same manner as the Biden Administration, then it will be called "Trump's Fascist Dictatorship" by all of the main-stream media outlets.

Well according to Biden you are now "Human Garbage" because you refuse to support Harris and the Democrat machine. Welcome to the club! You're in good company. Regarding the "lessor of two evils," there are other options although those alternative candidates don't have a snowball's chance in Hell to win. Which is exactly why I voted for Jill Stein. That's my protest vote. That's me telling the establishment to ****-off. I vote in a Blue State where a Harris' win is already assumed. But my vote for Stein takes away a popular vote from Harris. And I can't vote for Trump as I simply don't agree with many of his positions. So I voted my conscious. I hope Stein pulls at least 5% in my state.

Well thanks for acknowledging that I'm intellectually your superior. I probably am. But I've never stated anywhere that I have a "superior" intellect than others, but yeah, now that you mentioned it, not too many on AN from the Left can string a coherent sentence together that isn't a concoction of Left-wing hyperbole, mistruths called "trusted information" by Left-wing media organizations which allow only their own twisted, inaccurate narratives, and name-calling and rhetoric with violent undertones. Let's not even mention the 5th grade sentence construction. Oh - and most of your assertions have been completely debunked outside of main-stream news. You know, the main-stream news outlets who collectively have a problem maintaining viewership/readership equal to one Joe Rogan podcast because most of the people in the country no longer trust them at all! Biden's "human garbage", ie, Trump supporters as well as independents (those now referred to as Fascists by Harris for not voting for her, which would include me because I voted for Stein) are tired of the rabid rhetoric of the Left, and have left the MSM propaganda-station in order to get a fresh perspective and information from other sources which don't spew ideological clap-trap and utter Leftist 🐂 💩. Keep up the good work proselytizing for Harris and the Left.

"Why did the Democrat cross the road?" To vote for Trump.

Imagine Trump is not the GOP nominee, what would you do?
connda replied to Hanaguma's topic in Political Soapbox
Depends on the candidate. -
Exactly.

I wrote this elsewhere. Harris just p*ssed away a golden opportunity to get her human side out to the America people - if she has one. That is one of the draws of Rogan - you see people for people on his podcast. He draws that out of his guests. Harris' problem, in my own opinion, is her shallowness. She is not a people-person. I don't think she actually likes the "common people" after spending most of her life, "ruining their lives with a swipe of a pen 'ha ha ha' - now that's real power" as a prosecuting attorney (referencing a real 'cringe' video of her bragging about ruining the lives of people whose kids who would skip school by incarcerating them). Just that alone is enough for me never to vote for her. It shows the level of vindictive hatred she has for just normal, regular citizens. Waltz on the other hand has that mid-West people appeal. Do I agree with his views? No. But he's likable enough as a person. So I agree, it would benefit their campaign for Waltz to appear on Rogan. But Harris? She shot herself in the foot on this one. The is no way she can do three hours in the Joe Rogan "man-cave." She's elite and considers herself entitles. She oozes entitlement, and it's pretty sickening. She have very, very little in common with the common man and woman in the US.

Vance is measured and articulate. I enjoy hearing him speak because he maintains a real aura of calmness and self-assurance. Vance himself is presidential material. I'm not a Trump fan but I do like Vance.
-
You could have managed to limit your screed to one simple sentence: "I Hate Joe Rogan." See how easy that would have been? I personally like his interviews with scientists. Uneducated? Bunk. He's smart and intuitive, although he is still a bit of a normie, but I give him a pass on that. The shows that I do watch, I like considerably. He has talent as an interviewer. You don't learn that in university. You've got it or you don't.

And he won't, nor should he. His show is in Austin. He's not a traveling journalist. He's a pod-caster broadcasting out of Austin, TX. Anyway, Tuesday is now here (in the US) so too late. Vance is filling in the slot. Harris' loss, not Rogan's. Vance's gain. That's a bad look for her. Imho.
-
Rogan invited her to have the opportunity to be on his show. Free campaigning. Her response? " 🙍♀️"I'm special. You need to come to me, and you can only interview me for an hour?" What a laugh! I doubt that Rogan could give a flip. He's offering her a seat at the table to express her views, and she should be willing to go to his studio, like Trump and now Vance, and sit though a 3 hour interview. But she can't. That is it in a nutshell. Three hours? She'd self-destruct just like Joe did during the debate. She doesn't have three hours of discussion in her. She is that shallow. But hey, be a normal person and sit down with Joe and show your human side. But probably not. I'd suggest that Waltz ask for an interview. I believe he could actually manage three hours with on Rogan's show. Harris just loss a massively important interview. Very bad move on her part.

Yeah yeah yeah.....Trump is Hitler, a Fascist, and a 'convicted felon.'
-
What going to be interesting is the number of new convicted felons from the present administration there suddenly will be if Trump is elected. Then what you'll find is that you'll be burning mad because you'll claim that "your convicted felon" is as pure as the wind driven snow. See - that's the problem with Lawfare. Once the genie is let out of the bottle (and the Democrats rubbed that bottle and made their 'convict Trump' wishes), then that genie is on the loose and free to tangle everyone in his Lawfare web in the future. In America, you could convict a ham sandwich of a felony given all of the laws on the books and how politically biased judges (on both side) wish to take cases to trial. The Lawfare Genie should have never been let out of the bottle. But? Too late.

I prefer Ghee.

You mean the current Democrat Administration?

Boris Blair?

I really am amazed at how effective Leftist propaganda became since 2016 to frame a billionaire real-estate mogul and reality TV show host who had a seat at the table at venues like The View and other left-leaning and progressive TV show - and then just like that - once he threw his hat into the Presidential election ring, it started..."Russia Russia Russia, Putin's Puppet, Orange-Man-Bad, Evil Trump Monster" and has now morphed into, "Trump IS Hitler, Trump is Mussolini, Trump is Fascist, Trump's supporters are all Nazis, they all must be stopped by any means!" Amazing... What I think amazes me most is how other 'decent' liberals (I still consider myself to be a Classical Liberal in the same way as guys like Jimmie Dore and other classical lefties - which now makes me a "far-right Nazi" - go figure?), anyway, how decent liberals could swallow the bait - hook line sinker boat motor - and suddenly become almost violently Anti-Trump and Anti-Trump supporters. The rhetoric on the Left is violent. Yeah - I don't get it. It makes no sense, and it is irrational. Before the first, "You're a Fascist MAGA Trump supporter," nah - I just voted for Jill Stein - I was going to write-in Taylor Swift, but - Jill Stein. Now if you must start calling Jill Stein a "Nazi" do remember she is Jewish. Careful with that. Bottom line? I don't get it. The hyperbole. The angst. The almost violent anger. I simply don't understand it. And the implied violent undertones of the rhetoric on the Left. I consider it to be off the scales. "Trump is a danger to OUR Democracy." You mean "your" Democracy where only Democrats win. Ya'll are now red-faced, veins in your face and neck hyper-extended with rage, bugged-eyed, and screaming hatred toward Trump and conservatives at every opportunity, and screaming for the current administration to "do whatever is necessary to stop Trump and his supporters! Because? "They are all Fascists and Nazis and Trump is Hitler!" Anything? Now, there's the clear and present danger to our collective US Democracy.

Thai-panic: AirAsia flight defies disaster over denied landing in India
connda replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well instead of risking a crash, simply impound the plane once it's on the ground. "Duhhhhhh." -
Explicitly stating that, as the owner of WaPo, he will not endorse Harris/Waltz IS NOT an implicit endorsement of Trump/Vance. But!!! That is exactly how the progressive, the Left, and Democrats are framing his decision. Personally I agree with him. Truly unbiased (or less biased) MSM outlets should refrain from endorsing anyone.

I fully expect "The Left" to now focus attacks on the integrity of Jeff Bezos. Trust me, I'm not a fan, but cross The Left and experience the vitriol and hate speech toward those with whom they disagree. There is no such thing as debate anymore, just mud-slinging and name-calling. "You're Hitler. You're a Fascist. You're a Flat-Earther. You're a <gasp> Conspiracy Theorist!" Btw, notice that Bezos referred to alternative sources of information and journalism as "Disinformation." So he still is a proponent of that trope. "The commoners and plebeians are too dumb to engage in independent journalism." There ya go - a billionaire's view of the rest of us. Most independent journalist will look at multiple views on issues and then chose to opine on one which they agree with, and if the facts change, their opinions change. The MSM on the other hand states that their opinions are "The Only Fact-based, Truth and all else is Disinformation." The latter is just propaganda. The former is actual journalism. And yes - there are some really far out websites - Flat Earther for example. But I'll defend a Flat Earther to express their reasoning 100% of the time even if I 100% disagree with them. The other side? The billionaire classes and The Left? They want to censor all that doesn't fit "The Only Acceptable Narrative." And Bezos and other MSM publishers will continue to lose revenue and readership. Guys like Bezos states he understands the problem when in fact, he's pretty much just whining. My guess is he would like to see John Kerry's approach: kill the First Amendment then outlaw all but the main-stream news while calling all other journalistic outlet - "Disinformation." And then? You have the equivalent to the Soviet "Pravda" (The Truth) You know the old adage in the Soviet Union before its fall? "Read Pravda, invert what is written, and there is the truth."

And here I thought he said he came back to "live out his life with his grandchildren." More like to "...steer the ship of state in a direction beneficial to the Shin Dynasty." -
Heads-up for US voters who mailed their ballots at the Chiang Mai US Embassy Voter Drop-box. Check with your voter precinct in the state and county where you vote to make sure your ballot was received. I dropped mine off almost a month ago and it never arrived. Well, my trust in government institutions isn't bolstered by that. "Hi - we're from the government and we're here to help!" 🙄 Of course you are. I should have just mailed it. That's the first and last time I'll use the "convenient" US voter drop-off box. "Place your ballot in here and it will drop-off the radar and into the circular file." 👈 Probably closer to the truth.
