Reckless car drifting stunt in busy Chon Buri intersection sparks outrage
connda replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Like the motorcyclist who is running the red light? ???? -
It seems like over the last years or so, every major release seems to break another web application that I use frequently. The last was Lazada where the product pages won't load, just blank space. I'm moving more and more of my stuff over to either Brave or Chromium and slowly giving up Firefox. The only major positive it has is when I use the Linux accessibility widget to zoom the screen in and out, it doesn't effect the size of the Firefox display. If I do that in Brave or Chromium, it zooms the focus of the web page in and out.

Is it worth getting teeth implants at 81?

Is it worth getting teeth implants at 81?
connda replied to giddyup's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
It's rather invasive. How well do you heal at your age? That's the question you'll need to ask yourself as the last thing you want to happen is not healing well, getting an infection, and......that's not a good position to be in at 81. But if you're super healthy, young as spry as a 61 year old, then maybe yes. Ask yourself that question and go with your intuition. -
Want to know why Russians are coming to Thailand. It has nothing to do with 'fleeing the war.' It has everything to do with the entire EU bloc making all Russian persona-non-grata. Currently all countries in the EU bloc are greenlighted to confiscate Russian vehicles and "personal goods." 13. Can Russian nationals temporarily bring personal goods and vehicles listed in Annex XXI and subject to the prohibition in Art. 3i of Council Regulation 833/2014 into the Union, e.g. for touristic travels? Last update: 8 September 2023 "No. Article 3i of Council Regulation 833/2014 prohibits the purchase, import, or transfer, directly or indirectly, of goods as listed in Annex XXI to the Regulation if they originate in Russia or are exported from Russia. This includes motor vehicles (cars) falling under CN code 8703." https://finance.ec.europa.eu/system/files/2023-09/faqs-sanctions-russia-listed-goods_en.pdf This includes a ban on the following items under Annex XXI to the Regulation: https://lexparency.org/eu/32014R0833/ANX_XXI/ So yeah. Expect a whole lot more Russians to visit, here and no doubt other destinations, who no longer are traveling to the EU on business or holidays.

That's for the "heads up" as I guess I'll get my iHerb orders in while I still have some on hand. I wonder why there would be a supply issue here in SE Asia?
-
@Sheryl Are you aware of any changes with the Thai FDA that would cause Lazada and Shopee to drop the product? ????
-
How interesting. Purchased some about three weeks ago from Lazada. Now. <poof> Gone. iHerb.com is your friend. Their shipments take about a week.

Huh? ????

Yep! -
Gotta agree with Sheryl. Go see a doctor and get a professional assessment of your condition.

Colchicine, prednisone, and time. I just had a particularly nasty bout of gout. It felt like my toe joint was broken. Ouch!

Thanks, I'll give them a shot. I ❤️ Indian food but it's more like a 75km drive for me to eat there. That was my next question! -
Thaksin's Family Refutes Fake News; Misleading Post Sparks Outrage
connda replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Over the last 8 years I've found that a lot of things labelled "Fake News" ultimately ends up to be factual. When that happens, it immediately gets "memory holed" by those squawking about "Fake News." -
I'd use a carbon filter for most of the house and RO for a tap that provides drinking water.

Sending money back to USA from Thailand
connda replied to bangkokgalaxy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The current rate for short-term Treasuries in the US in 5.5% for a 6 month T-Bill. I'm getting tempted to send excess funds back to the US in order to actually make some income on my idle cash. -
Ah-huh. Right!
