  1. Well, yes, he withdrew, but wasn't he pushed? Let's ask Nancy Pelosi....
  2. 70,000 people signing a petition to support that segment of society? Well organized lot, to be sure...
  3. After 4 yrs of finasteride, I have had only one of those side-effects: reverse ejaculation.
  4. Been on finasteride for last 4 years (had cystoscopy - "not concerning"). Seems to do the trick, but I have had frequent night urination for many decades. (Tried nettle pills with no effect - for nocturia -- frequent night urination). Maybe I just have a small bladder. I really should give up all liquid intake by about 4 pm, but I find it v difficult to give up red wine to accompany supper. Have tried milk thistle with no apparent difference. If you are bald, an advantage of finasteride is that it encourages hair growth (there's a connection between finasteride and rogaine.) After 4 years, I am looking more and more like Santa Claus.
  5. 30???? That's very generous. More like 80, I'd say, with maybe a hiccup in the Thatcher era.
  6. Surely, that 10% figure for the Greens is way too high. Is the country that impoverished intellectually???
  7. "Rescuing"...that's what the British PM, W.E. Gladstone, used to do in the 1870s/80s. After dark, he would wander around Westminster and engage the prostitutes in solemn conversation as he attempted to "rescue" the girls from their lamentable lifestyle.... Amazingly, Gladstone was never "outed" in this rather odd preoccupation. Can you manage the field day the Daily Mail would have if Starmer embarked on similar behaviour?
  8. I thought this information was well-known and a topic of discussion since October 7....
  9. Looks like Starmer & co are doing something useful after all....
  10. Edi looks like the villain from a Reacher series. In the Commie days of Enver Hoxha, he would have been put away in the Albanian version of the Bangkok Hilton.
  11. Germans???? Here,Fawlty???? Bad eggs, all of 'em.....
  12. Makes a change, though, from impossibly brave and beautiful 20 somethings with not a brain to boast of. And apparently, the series does not throw a D.E.I. cast at you (as is so often the case, especially in British stuff).
  13. Sorry, but I haven't noticed any references to Eternaut, which is available in the usual places. (6 episodes at 45m.) It's Argentinian sci-fi, but had v high reviews in the UK media. Anybody got an opinion?
  14. Carney is a consummate weakling. This little dig at the UK government is just deflection from his agenda (which is already transparent: he will not present a Budget until September and in the meantime will fund whatever boondoggles he fancies by issuing "special warrants" in the region of 20 billions per month.) Special warrants, in the British system (which is Canada's), give the Prime Minister immense financial power without having to worry about opposition protests or legal challenges. But, so far, the sheeple voters have not woken up to the reality that they have voted for a bunch of incompetents no different from those under the "leadership" of Boy Trudeau.
  15. Thai Love-Links....13 years of bliss so far... you take care me; i take care you....
  16. A lot of Muslim-type names in the above report. No connection, I'm sure....
  17. Think how much global warming is increased as Bernie waves his right arm about and pumps it up and down on every other word. Plus he is so exhausted after all the pumping and virtue signalling that a private jet nook for him to retire to is entirely justified....
  18. If Trump woke up one day and announced to Melania (and the world) that he was in fact gay, would that change your mind about his "mental decline"?
  19. No, these are the settler people of Pattaya....
  20. "Usually" maybe, but in the 2019 General Election, thousands and thousands of people voted their displeasure by (erroneously) believing that Boris would finally get Brexit "done."
  21. Frankly I have never forgiven him for taking that unutterably stupid knee in his office back in the 2020 days when Floyd the drug dealer was all the rage..... What was he "saying" by taking that knee????????
  22. It's worth recalling that Boris, with all his baggage, managed in 2019 to sweep whole swathes of the North that were previously solidly Labour. If those Labour voters could desert their roots for a Tory, imagine how much easier will be their drift to a party that listens to those voters' main concern: unlimited immigration. (Which will still be their main concern in 2029, because Starmer's love-affair with the European Human Rights code will still be burning bright.)
  23. Have you heard him speak? Or squeak......
  24. US is rich; UK is poor. That's the difference; sorry if it's confusing.....
