  1. It's a good job the Muslims are not into music much (if at all). And these evangelical Christians tend to produce "music" involving lots of drums, cymbals, guitars and other such rubbish sounds. So, I am with the cops on this one: it's not your beliefs that offend me, but the noise produced while expressing them.
  2. Don't worry: Nigel will fix it all when he becomes P.M.....
  3. So this guy (surely a Bond villain?) is "incredibly charismatic"? About as charismatic as a turnip more like. Can't help noticing how often anti-war broads like this one express their anti-war feelings with such warlike expressions of spitting hatred. Wouldn't like to meet her on a dark night in Shanghai.
  4. She should be put away, not necessarily as humanely as possible.....
  5. I have no confidence in any tall structures in Thailand. I don't trust the quality of the foundations.
  6. Powerful???? What utter poppycock. On the other hand, she must be a little bit powerful if a really powerful man like Starmer let her stand in the last election🤩
  7. Birds of a feather. Last time I looked, Trump's feathers looked quite straight.
  8. Prominent member [sic] of the Alphabet Community, where being "diplomatic" means being able to change who you are into a different version of yourself depending on the time of day.....
  9. Nothing new there. Ask all those who owe thousands of dollars after taking a degree in loser areas like Gender Studies with no job that fits those "qualifications". (Of course, if you can prove you are an oppressed victim, you can easily find a job under D.E.I. regulations.)
  10. It's worth remembering Tom Driberg, a Labour MP of the 60s/70s, and a flamboyant homosexual, who frequented the "cottages" of Westminster on the look out for anyone who might want to combine a pee with a quick w@nk (or more). He voted against the legalising of homosexuality because he thought it would take away the sharp shiver of ecstasy brought on by indulging in something illegal that might be exposed at any moment in those Westminster toilets.
  11. Thing is, if I won $10million on the lottery today, Thailand is the last place I would choose to retire to with my lucky wealth. I could imagine moving to Chiang Mai, but then there's all that pollution for 4 months of the year. I could imagine moving to Hua Hin, but then getting there is almost murderous, and Phetkasem Road is an invitation to suicide. And so on. I would move to somewhere like Southern Spain or south of France, where, unlike Thailand, life is truly "affordable"....good wine and cuisine for pennies on the pound. Plus marvellous train system, plus language easy to learn and speak. Excellent football teams to support.....and so on it goes.
  12. Women and children come later, adding to the tax burdens of the generous English tax-payers...
  13. Looks boring. Yes, not only is The One That Got Away boring, as you say, but it is also absurd. The actors do their best with a lousy script, but the dialogue is wooden and, in short, outrageously unbelievable. Feels very low budget...
  14. Emigrate to Canada....land of weedweedweed.....
  15. Well, yes, he withdrew, but wasn't he pushed? Let's ask Nancy Pelosi....
  16. 70,000 people signing a petition to support that segment of society? Well organized lot, to be sure...
  17. After 4 yrs of finasteride, I have had only one of those side-effects: reverse ejaculation.
  18. Been on finasteride for last 4 years (had cystoscopy - "not concerning"). Seems to do the trick, but I have had frequent night urination for many decades. (Tried nettle pills with no effect - for nocturia -- frequent night urination). Maybe I just have a small bladder. I really should give up all liquid intake by about 4 pm, but I find it v difficult to give up red wine to accompany supper. Have tried milk thistle with no apparent difference. If you are bald, an advantage of finasteride is that it encourages hair growth (there's a connection between finasteride and rogaine.) After 4 years, I am looking more and more like Santa Claus.
  19. 30???? That's very generous. More like 80, I'd say, with maybe a hiccup in the Thatcher era.
  20. Surely, that 10% figure for the Greens is way too high. Is the country that impoverished intellectually???
  21. "Rescuing"...that's what the British PM, W.E. Gladstone, used to do in the 1870s/80s. After dark, he would wander around Westminster and engage the prostitutes in solemn conversation as he attempted to "rescue" the girls from their lamentable lifestyle.... Amazingly, Gladstone was never "outed" in this rather odd preoccupation. Can you manage the field day the Daily Mail would have if Starmer embarked on similar behaviour?
  22. I thought this information was well-known and a topic of discussion since October 7....
  23. Looks like Starmer & co are doing something useful after all....
  24. Edi looks like the villain from a Reacher series. In the Commie days of Enver Hoxha, he would have been put away in the Albanian version of the Bangkok Hilton.
