My mates story. He was in the palace Guards and was on guard duty in one of the palace courtyards on an freezing cold night with snow around. The French doors behind him were opened and out came the Queen with a big mug of tea, he was gobsmacked when she said to him put that thingy down meaning his rifle and drink this now you must be very cold. One who care for her people for sure.- 231 replies

Years ago Southhall near London changed a lot as people moved in getting a large area where immigrants would like living next to one another. A friend of mine moved out after getting a good price for his house and moved somewhere else mainly because of we did living in Rayners Lane the schools were full of kids who couldn't speak English and Teachers had no time for my daughter. -
Measuring height above sea level / ground with accuracy

If the houses you are looking at are already built I would of thought asking local people about flooding would the best and look at other houses in the area. If it's a new estate of several houses built in an area again I would think today's drainage tectnic would be already in place. -
If a man believes he knows what a women wants or the type of woman he is attracted to wants then good luck with that. ????

I found our village location is 2M above sea level on a internet map from memory. For finding house location has nothing to do with sea water level you need to know does the location flood badly from flooding rain in the future house area. When we knocked down our old house which could be flooded up to knee level in heavy rains we land filled level with the road and then land filled another 2M high for the house foundation height.
