Fair call Bill but i love guns and miss them since i came from UK to Thailand. No problem i compromised with archery and airgun and BB guns.

I enjoyed my working life and achieved a fellowship in UK construction roofing industry. Heath & Safety choked the industry also PC and that's when I decided to get out. Will life get better when your older, for me it has I would say ???? as for capabilities well that's not just down to reality it's a fact of life. For me it's how you approach things and making sure you take care of yourself more so. My mind stays much the same but in the words of Clint Eastwood I have to get to know my limitations. ????

I was referring to having my UK pension paid directly into my Thai bank via UK city-bank. The problem at the time from what I understand was that certain transfer codes were needed by the Bangkok Bank to receive money from abroad, I'm not sure about other Thai banks. The delay revealed now for me apparently from what I remember being told, is instead of the UK pension being paid directly into my local Bangkok Bank account it is paid into the Bangkok Bank head office branch in Bangkok first, then they send it to my local branch. Other pension money in UK put in my UK bank I get via 'WISE' they are much cheaper that what you pay.

From the initial start my UK pension DWP (IPC) said would be paid into my Thai bank on Mondays. It got changed to Thursdays because bank codes for the swift thingy or whatever. Anyway i asked DWP for the 3 days in hand to be added to my next pension. I got no reply. ????

Legit question, when it comes to guns and Americans not all but some would like to keep his gun collection the same way i would like to keep my motorcycle or car collection not have them taken away. Come on American guys here you know the mentality of gun guys in America I just assumed it.

Agree but a revolver holding shotgun shells is a lot more useable within a house rather than swinging a long rifle about, unless you cut down of course.

Bank holiday's sometimes.

I can understand a person wanted keep a gun in there house for protection but assault guns used in a battlefield. A revolver with shogun shells loaded with rock salt is a good stopper without necessary killing anyone.

Yeah way back 1st time I got a plane from isle of dogs airport. The following year rode from North Watford UK to ferry and IOM.

France 24 were reporting today that Ukrainian recruitment is low because of the many losses on the front line and many are paying or finding ways not to be taken to front lines. Ukraine govt was saying they will see how there offensive will go before considering to start peace talks. The report will be on France 24 news channel all day or usually is.
