Yes, I believe Board member Monty has posted a thread about this.

it's worth it. isn't it?
2000/2500 vs 1900 ........ i must be missing the point.

Why do you want to fly anywhere, it will cost you more than just getting an extension......
Spending XXXXXbaht to save 1900baht is idiot logic at its finest.
-
is there any way to avoid paying this fee?
leaving to another country and then entering again?
You have two options.
Overstay or border run, either one will cost you more than the going rate for an extension.
Why did you go for a 15 day visa on arrival when you can get a 30day entry stamp for the same price ??
-
An extension is 1900b per person.

Ive had an N97 since the first day of release here in Thailand, Ok yeah it was a bit glitchy at first but ive updated the firmware as they became available and now, mine is 100% glitch free, everything works as it should.

Its not even 7.00am yet, the banks wont be open for another 1hr or 2.
If your talking bout yesterday, i would assume they were closed due to the Kings B/day public holiday.

My Bad, seems he bought an older one, when he went home for a fortnight a few days later he took it with him and bought the newer one whilst there (the one that i saw).

Caveat emptor...
Iam in a village off Soi Khao Noi, my 8mb True is superb, fast as hel_l and have had 99% uptime, my mate who lives on Soi Khao Noi not more than 500metres away (as the crow flies) but closer to Suk road got True installed after playing with my connection....... his is appalling, infact it that bad 99% of the time he is better off using his Nokia for a modem.... we are on the same plan.

The one my step father just bought has a lan cable port, as to what it does..... i have no idea.

"After paying the fine you'll be cleared of your charges, but you will be handed over to immigration as youare now in Thailand without visa and have to be deported."
Would this be the case when the WP and visa are not tied to each other?
No, i would not have thought so.

I can't see how they could find out if i say i receive money from my parents every month...
Another that thinks the Thai's are stupid, its people like you that when caught, make it harder for those of us who pay the piper and do it legally.

Where exactly is your Husband working, Amata Nakorn in Chonburi or Amata City in Rayong ??
I live in East Pattaya and work at the Laem Chabang Deep Sea Port, my commute is 23km each way and takes approx 40 minutes, Amata City is 27km from Laem chabang, the traffic from Pattaya (Lake Maprachan area) will be a lot better than what i have to deal with so im going to guess an easy 30minute commute Amata City.

Ive seen 3 flies this week.
