  1. :D I know the feeling... anyhow after all this - the 17 inch ARE the exact same diameter as the 15 inch but with low profile tyres hence the warantee is intact PHEW!

thanks for all the comments... now... they can't supply the car :) after all there is no stock for 3 months! Jeeze :D

Iam interested to know what size these 17inch tyres are.

Your Yaris is fitted with 185/60/15 tyres (602.99mm Overall Diameter), playing around on a rolling diameter calculator i cannot find any 17inch tyres that are the same, a 215/40/17 is close though, it has a 603.75mm overall diameter

  2. Yeah never been stopped, i guess they kinda know i didnt cross the border as iam usually heading back out within 30 minutes.

L&M Blue, grab a carton and try em, i reckon they aint too bad, cant say the same for L&M reds and greens though, all the Molboros are rank as well.

  4. The immigration rules changed earlier this year and now require you to report to the local immigration office in the area where you are permanently living. That is where your immigration file will now be located. In your case, if I read you correctly, that is Jomtien and that is where you will also renew your extension next time.

Depends on who does my reporting, sometimes I do it at Jomtien and some times HR does it at BKK.

  5. I don't know how you get away with bringing in 10 Carton's at one time - I never buy any but the Driver's always ask me to carry there's for them in case we get stopped, and one time we did, and the police got inside the Minivan to check - so be careful.

I dont cross the border, I sit and have lunch and they are delivered to me.

  6. You have to report to the immigration office where you obtained your extension of stay. You could mail in your 90 day report (if immigration office accepts) from out of town by EMS and ensure enclosed stamped addressed envelope for return on "Receipt of Notification" slip is sent to your registered residence which you can collect later.

Really, my extension of stay was given in BKK, i have no issues reporting in Jomtien.

Believe you have misread my post or maybe I did not make myself clear. Yes you report to your local immigration office for 90 day reporting. In the OP's case he can't choose where he wants to report; it has to be the office where his records are and that will in his case be where he obtained his extension of stay.

Obviously i did misread your post, why can i report at an immigration office other than the one my extension was given at but the OP cant ??

  8. Ban Laem (Cambodian border): THB 150 for a carton L&M.................made out of buffalo-hair.

Taste can not be compared with the real thing, but it smokes.....and that's what counts.

These Cigarettes from the Border are Terrible, absolutely the worst Cigarette I ever had.

Talk about throat nippers - jeez.

I would not entertain them if they were free !!!

L&M Blue are fine, i buy 10 cartons at a time. i have run out and had to buy some ciggies today....yikes @ 60b a pack.... fark that, im gunna go for a ciggie run on saturday.
