  1. Working 10 hours a day in a non air conditioned workshop builds a thirst, I grab 2 big Changs from the 7 for the drive home and then will have another 2 big Leo's at home.

Friday nights I'll do atleast 5 big leo's at home instead of the weekday 2.

Saturdays maybe a beer with dinner and then normally 3 or 4 big leo's on Sunday arvo.

  2. I personally like the idea of the 5 cylinder engine. As the old saying goes "there is no replacement for displacement".

Historically look how well the Volvo and Audi I5 engines have done. Oh and that sound................... smile.png

Only problem with the 3.2 ford/mazda is the over heating of the fifth cylinder just before it eats the piston, I think it is an oiling problem.

  3. I was at a Japanese buffet in Siam paragon or one of those big shopping towers

You has to order from a menu

So we order various sushi rolls and sushi and hotspot ingredients

About 15 minutes later the hot pot ingredients come along, a few minutes later the sushi rolls come but no sushi (nigiri)

We assume they forgot them so we reorder them

A few minutes later one of the waitress comes along and says "oh we are out of rice"

If I was back home, I would call the manager and ask for a please explain, I mean no rice at a Japanese restaurant is like saying kfc buffet with no chicken,

However this is thailand, do we didn't say anything,

I personally think letting the customers would be a bare minimum courtesy, but I guess not in Thailand

What goes through their thought process I have no idea nor do not understand

There was a little Japanese joint near my work catering to the lunchtime crowds.... It was a common thing for them to have no rice on any given day of the week.

The question of why they do not go next to to the 7/11 to buy a few bags was always greeted with a blank stare.

  4. The Horid Box becomes Sequential when put in Manual Mode and the Ozz Tester said it was good , but what does he know , its just his Job.biggrin.png Recommend you watch the Road Tests before talkingout yer arse.

Yeah the 3 has a sequential type manual mode as well and it too is horrid whether moving the stick or using the paddles so maybe you should pull your head of your ass before commenting on something you have zero personal experience with.

There is no substitute for a proper manual stick.

  5. Our modern ones are still ...tongue.pngwhistling.gif But I guess you get my meaning and why I said what I did initially. Still I get your meaning but really hydraulic systems are ideal for those applications as they are self contained and require no extra investment or complicated electronics to be installed and maintained, just hook up and go. BTW your AV needs a waxing..

Mechanical operated discs (or drums) are popular. same deal nothing else required just hook up and go and not need to worry about fluid loss.

  6. Yeah but in the same type of venue back home in Aus that would be a $25.00 beer (or $10.00 for a bottle of water).

You really think so? The same venue, operating to the same costs and standards as in Thailand? Same health and safety requirement, fire regulations, insurance coverage etc... - Are you 100% sure about that?

wow, really. that is your reply to mine saying "same type of venue"....

you do realise that "same type" as in target market.

Of course each venue has to abide by the relevant standards that their respective countries stipulate...... hence a 300b beer here is $25.00 there !!!

  7. O.K. its Slower, you lost me plus a few others no doubt.I thought Naturall Aspirated was Carbs. So lets get all the Good Bits off all the C Klass range and make a Perfect one.thumbsup.gif

Well carbs are naturally aspirated as well, until you start to force air through them via a turbo or supercharger.

But if you are going forced induction in this day and age it seems pointless to use a carb when injection is much more refined.
