  1. I got it. You didn't mean the visa fee, but proof of financial means for the visa application. Talking about crazy, I think it is crazy to speculate that proof of 1 million euro in the bank will be required if and when the 10-year tourist visa is offered.
  2. Link, please. The Thai embassy in Italy, for example, lists a fee of EUR 70.00 for the single-entry "Non-Immigrant Visa O (Family of a Thai national)" Source: http://www.thaiembassy.it/index.php/en/consular-services/visa-application
  3. I just completed this quiz. My Score 20/100 My Time 134 seconds
  4. What have crickets got to do with this? Image source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricket_(insect)?wprov=sfla1
  5. Cleaning up the air is at the top of my wish list buI fear that it will never happen.
  6. In what brochures? What are these brochures? Where can I read these brochures? This is why I'm asking for a link. Without a link, your post about a brochure or about brochures makes no sense.
  7. I am interested in this. Could you post a link to their brochure about street brawls?
  8. Not having seen a wobble for a long time, I went to have a look at this one. Keep wobbling, Thai Baht. I'd like to see it at a minimum of THB 36.40 to the USD.
  9. They don't use ounces in Georgia, USA. They use ounces and fractions and multiples thereof.
  10. Most ads still follow the rule of showing an x in one of the corners, on which we can click to make the ad disappear. This rule seems to have been abandoned, perhaps only for certain types of ads like the floating ad you show. In your ad, there is instead an arrow in the bottom right corner. Click on it and and on the new page that opens, select one of the reasons why you object to seeing this ad.
  11. The article in the OP reminds me about a news story on this forum a few years of a member of the Thai parliament (MP) allegedly viewing pornograhic pictures on his mobile phone during a session. As it tuned out, they were photos of young women posing in decent bikinis. Unfortunately, I have no way of verifying if the OP is a similar case because no link to the mentioned "social media page ท่านเปา (Than Pao)" is given.
  12. I don't know whether any memer of this forum has been ordering from HerbsPro, but you may find useful information in the reviews posted on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/tvnoJ7Scgfhi97Eu6
  13. Forgive me for butting in on your conversation with another member, but I always like a good joke and would be grateful if you explained to me where the joke is in your comment "The oil bypasses the gasket"
  14. And a passport check every time a foreigner enters a casino, plus a photo for face recognition, plus all ten fingerprints, plus the tax identification number, plus a saliva swap for DNA analysis, plus anything else they can think of as they go along.
  15. The tattoo is visible more clearly in this photo: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zxtq7jJi92e_7xa8qy1F1bOq15zrqdVO/view?usp=drive_link
  16. It very much looks that way, on the right side of her abdomen, and a teeny-weeny part of the top of her labium majorum dexter (right major lip)
  17. Thank you for posting the photo of the TDAC kiosks. I was wondering what they look like.
  18. @Rolo89 A Tip: next time you walk into a bank, don't ask about opening a bank account. Instead, ask about opening a savings account. It may sound strange, but in Thai banking lingo, most times a bank employee hears "bank account" he jumps to the conclusion that you mean a current account.
  19. Thailand, respectively the country's Revenue Department, does not "expect" you to pay taxes. It either sends you a tax bill or it doesn't. If it does, ask it to give you a letter addressed to the bank of your choice recommending that the bak open an account for you. Alternatively, you may pay your taxes in cash.

  21. From what I've learnt by browsing the Internet since seeing this topic, there are different types of leishmaniasis and not all respond to the same type of treatment. I have also seen emphasis given to early analysis and diagnosis of leishmaniasis, followed by appropriate treatment. With symptoms showing after a sandfly bite, if I would even know that it was a sandfly, I would not trust myself to self-analyse, self-diagnose and initiate self-treatment.
  22. Thank you for the link, but I cannot find any mention of Invermectin in that article.
  23. I agree and I took pains not to link to anything from the CDC.
