  3. Is the spreading of fake news on the Internet and social media in Thailand covered by the Computer Crimes Act, or is it a separate law?
  4. I see some uncertainties mentioned in the news article to which a link is given in the OP.
  5. I know a teetotaler in Italy who says he was referred by his GP to a hepatologist because of a fatty liver caused by an excessively high iron concentration in the blood. Apparently, his body does not metabolise iron adequately or something like that.
  6. This looks like part of the effort to do nothing much about the dangerously high air pollution.
  7. The contrary would be happening; the insurane companies would make heaps of profit.
  8. Hooray, the government is doing something about air pollution, for example monitor air quality. No news, though, about illegal polluters being taken to court and fined or sent to prison.
  9. The situation is crystal clear. As a Thai national and regardless being also a US national, she has the full af a Thai national.

Raw milk, directly form a cows udder, was fed to the cats that were kept on the farm to keep the field mice in check. No cat died. For human consumption on the farm, the raw milk was always boiled before being served.
  12. Thank you for the link to the article in The Nation Thailand on 14 July 2022 . Like I said, the Thai government keeps adjusting the "save" level for PM2.5, but what real action, if any, are they taking to stay within this ever-changing level? 14 July 2022: from https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40017734 (highlighting in bold red is mine): 2 February 2023: from https://www.thaipbsworld.com/thailand-to-reduce-the-50-micron-of-pm2-5-safety-standard-to-37-5-microns/#:~:text=Thailand will adjust the country's,PCD Director-General Pinsak Suraswadi (highlighting in bold red is mine): 10 February 2023: from https://www.thaipbsworld.com/thailands-worsening-pm2-5-problem-is-lost-in-the-fog-of-politics/#:~:text=Thailand sets the safe limit, levels go above 100 micrograms (highlighting in bold red is mine): 10 February 2023: from https://www.thaipbsworld.com/thailands-worsening-pm2-5-problem-is-lost-in-the-fog-of-politics/#:~:text=Thailand sets the safe limit, levels go above 100 micrograms (highlighting in bold red is mine):
  13. Tattoo? What tattoo? I see no tattoo. Could someone please post a photo of Lisa's tattoo so that we may know what this topic is about?
  14. The government is doing something about this air pollution. A few months ago, they increased the safe level for PM 2.5 to 50 µg/m³ 24-hour mean. I can't remember what it was previously, perhaps 25 or 30. Now they are probably discussing to what level they they should increase it next. Other safe levels for PM 2.5 24-hour mean: WHO 15 µg/m³ USA 12 µg/m³
  15. Thank you, metisdead and DrJack54.
  16. There also was a forum called Forum Support Desk. I meant to ask my question there, but I can't find that one, either.
  17. There used to be a forum called Bedlam but now I can't find it anymore. Where is it?
  18. Nothing wrong with criminal cases getting solved, I should think.
  19. Your heard it wrong.
  20. I know your post was a reply to another member, @Sheryl, but I have been wondering what "private" is supposed to mean in the excerpt from an insurance policy you posted. First I thought "private" was meant as "non-government" but when I read on to the next paragraph it looked more like "private" was meant as "non-emergency" From the policy (highlighting in red is mine)": Further down in the excerpt you quoted, there is this text: Here again, I see "private" as the opposite of "emergency". Because this is not a private medical insurance but an insurance for emergency medical treatment, if you go into hospital... In other words, regardless of the ownership or operator of the hospital, coverage for in-patient treatment over GBP 500 may be declined if prior approval from the insurance is not obtained. I found the full text of the terms of insurance from which you appear to have quoted here: https://www.direct-travel.co.uk/services/library/Documents/3/9358/dated/04-01-2022 The word "government" appears four times but never in the context of cost coverage.
  21. If the serving size is defined on the label, this presents no real problem, but it makes the comparison between products more complicated, at least for me. In Thailand, the value per 100 g is perhaps a regulatory requirement and the value per serving is added optioslly gor the convenience of consumers The package of cereals I am looking at right now has – 500 g net – servings per package 11 – serving size 45 g – sugars per serving: 1.0 g – sugars per 100 g: 2.2 g
  22. In your learned opinion, 1. Do both conditions, cohabiting with a Thai woman and fathering a child with her, have to be met for you not to be a tourist, or does either of the two conditions by itself give the same result? 2.. Is the nationality of the woman relevant?
