Try changing the tarp to heshian (sack material) then water it, often when the sun is on it.

Not only will it shade the tank/pipes but will cool them too.!

    It's evaporative cooling.

We did this to our camp water tanks at work (Oman) as the water in the afternoon/evening was too hot to shower with.

We got some rolls of hessian material and wrapped the tanks and rigged up a waterline over the tops of them and left the tap partially open from mid morning until evening...worked a treat

I 've just bought a " Chang gel battery 12v 5amp " for a Wave the Wave l've been fixing up.

I will see how it gets on because it only cost 195 baht at Shopee, looks as good as any dearer batteries.

I got one of those for the daughters Wave off Lazada a couple of months ago, yep dirt cheap, and so far has held it's charge no problem at all.

Thailand says foreigners to get COVID-19 vaccines amid access concern

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand confirmed on Thursday that it plans to include 3 million foreigners living in the country in its mass vaccination programme to protect the entire population, amid concerns over the scope of vaccine access.

"Anybody living in Thailand, whether they be Thai or foreign, if they want they vaccine, they can get it," head of the disease control department, Opas Kankawinpong told a briefing.

The health ministry is working on other ways to include non-Thais in the vaccination programme, including via mobile applications or direct contact from hospitals, according to the foreign ministry.

I think that should read "The Health Ministry is looking at setting up a committee"...possibly, in the future, maybe ????

I bought a Wave 100 of similar vintage (Baht 4,500 with no book) for my daughter to learn to ride on a few months ago...and yep, they are a strange breed. Parts are cheap as chips on Lazada for these things ????

One of my favourite IOM riders, l thought he had done some track races and then went to take up IOM.

Maybe I'm mixing him up with someone else.

Because he dropped out of the 2016 season (he broke his back in Aug 2015) he had to do qualifying races to get entry into the 2017 IoM

For the 2016 season Martin decided not to race in the TT for the first time in 11 years, opting instead for a mountain bike race. He was uncertain if the decision would lead him to retire from road racing, mountain bike racing, or if he would go on to do something else, but said "if I do race on the roads it will be with TAS".

Martin signed a new deal with Honda Racing on 18 January 2017 to ride the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2, rekindling his ambition to win the Isle of Man TT and renewing his focus on his road racing career

And yes, he's one of my favourite racers too, mad as a box of frogs, but great all the same ????

Martin suffered a serious crash in the Dundrod 150 Superbike event, part of the Ulster Grand Prix races in August 2015. Following the crash, Martin only got back on his racing motorbike in March 2016

Is there a requirement for competing in X number of road races before?

Yes there is, I've just finished reading one of Guy Martins books (We Need to Weaken the Mixture) and he mentions that he had to do so many races before he was allowed to ride the Fireblade there

These bikes would generally get ridden to the trails and all the other stuff would be off road, which is generally low mileage as it's tough to rack up hundreds of kms on dirt tracks. 1000 kms for an oil change doesn't sound too bad at all,

Pretty well sums up my CRF250L, we try and ride every Friday and average about 80km per ride, a quarter of that will be on pavement getting to the trails and linking them up. I give mine an oil change every 1,000km and a new filter every other oil change.

How many people are going to race it?  For those that might the rebuild schedule you quoted it normal.

Going on the current mileage of my 2014 CRF250L it would take me about 12 years to hit 32k...so that's not an issue, nor the price really...but all the guys I ride with are on 250's...so I'll stick with my old girl, bless her

All that has changed is the displacement - except for things like fuel tank, gauge cluster, suspension travel.

All bolt on bits - racks, bars, crash protection should remain the same as the frame is shared.

Without having the chance to put them side by side yet I'm not really sure what will cross over, I do know the rad is on the opposite side and the frame no longer has a rear sub-frame though.

I just cant understand how Honda cant design an engine / fuel injection system that cant even pass the outdated Euro 4 standards.

January 1st 2021 is when the really big change comes in, but once again, there's nothing for consumers or existing motorcycle owners to be concerned about. From that date, every brand new motorcycle sold here in the UK will have to be Euro 5 compliant, even if it's a model that's been in production for decades and was perfectly legal to be sold a couple of days earlier in 2020.

Buyers will therefore still be able to purchase these Euro 4 compliant motorcycles from dealers for the next two years, which should be plenty of time for existing stocks to be cleared. Riding and owning a Euro 4 model won’t be or feel any different from a Euro 5 compliant model. Some models have only needed very minor upgrades by manufacturers to make them Euro 5 compliant, but there's no reason for buyers to delay purchasing a new motorcycle to wait for a Euro 5 compliant version if the bike is currently being sold under the end-of-series derogation system as a Euro 4 model.

I am on True Online for my connection and not getting the 522 failures.

Most people that are getting it are using TOT it seems.

Been getting the 522 msg on TV (all other sites work fine) for about two weeks now, doesn't matter which browser I use...but yep, I'm on TOT.

It is weird tho, first off you can't get TV no matter what you try and then all of a sudden everything back to normal...if it gets worse I may try the VPN route
