Get a new passport.
Worth trying immigration first if the passport looks ok, new passport is plan B.

Go and have a chat with the immigration office, explain the situation and show them the pre washed photos. Hopefully they'll do the equivalent of transferring stamps from an old passport, but in this case a pre-washed passport to a freshly laundered one.

Do not follow.
It is possible to make a deposit on day of application.
Most FD accounts requure minimum deposit of 1000b.
Not an issue.
Thanks.
I just checked on the Krungsri app and successfully added money to the term account. I hadn't realised you could do that without resetting the whole term deposit and losing whatever interest had accrued.

Yes you can, and I do keep my extension money in a term deposit account.
That said the IO officer can be twitchy about the lack of 'movement', they ask you to have your passbook updated on the day of application, at least Hat Yai do, but with term deposit I can't make a transaction on the day to show a total for that day in the passbook. Some officers seem to understand this, others are a little less bright shall we say. Bringing the balance up on the banking app to show the money is there has helped, as does doing the bank letter the same day as the application. So be aware it can be problematic depending on the IO reviewing your application, and no doubt the immigration office you use.

Yes. Need to plant the trees again. That way you have more to burn.
Indeed, I was going to say there's little point planting more until you convince people to stop cutting them down and burning them.

Interesting comments reported in the article, which possibly explains why a few days ago a Maxim driver was asking me about 'free visas' and if I had one, when I explained I didn't and needed to pay every year for my extension he seemed pleased.

Yes K-Bank seems a lot slower and I've had the same 'busy traffic' pop up. But if I switch to my SIM for internet from home wifi it works. Are you connecting roaming or from a local wifi connection?

You can use Binance P2P to get cash straight into your Thai bank account.
The OPs buying a condo, so needs a bank Foreign Exchange Transaction form for the Land Office.

WISE: they offer special contact/advice for transferring high amounts.
Never tried so can't tell what it's worth.
Wise is peer to peer money transfer, matching someone's need for Canadian Dollars with someone else's desire for Thai Baht, so they won't be able to supply CAD in a Thai bank. Swift transfer is the way to go.

It is a free service and no documents required
Agreed it's a free service, but when I transferred my stamps to a new passport (Hat Yai IO) I was required to complete Form 22 and supply the documents specified on the form, namely a photocopy of the photo page of old and new passports, plus my extension, original visa, and last arrival stamp. All easy enough and completed whilst I waited.

Which statin were you on?
I had issues with pravastatin, which made me feel plain awful, so was switched to simvastatin which was OK. A couple years ago I was moved to atorvastatin which has been better at managing my cholesterol but at a lower dose than simvastatin, I've had no issues with atorvastatin.

Washed UK Passport
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
The new British passport is pretty robust, the ID page is fully hard laminated, there was no harm in asking immigration.
