39 minutes ago, Red Phoenix said:so ordered 6 vaccine shots of 12 different vaccines.
12 different vaccines, really.
If there is indeed any truth in this then surely the issue is with the hospital administering that many shots at the same time.

They're cowed into submission for fear of having the social media StormTrumpers set on them and their family. For the most part they're spineless cowards, fearful of losing their place at the trough.

Thousands.
I said thousands, and I mean thousands.
You should check how many per year in parts of Japan, and in Taiwan....
If you really want to be impressed.
I was actually responding to your question with my own experience, not everything is about you.

I wouldn't be in a hurry to do anything, and certainly "living there for a while" is no grounds for a purchase, rent as said numerous times above. Travel around live a few months each in several cities and resort areas. As the saying goes "act in haste, repent at leisure" there's no rush, Thailand's not going anywhere.

Thousands?????
I have.
Not thousands, but hundreds, I lived and worked in Indonesia for eight years and was in Bengkulu, Sumatra for the Sept 2007 8.4 magnitude earthquake. The aftershocks including a couple of 7 and plenty of 6s continued for over six months. That's one day I won't forget, and whenever I see news reports of similar earthquakes I feel for those affected and fully understand what they're feeling, and certainly "Nice one!" doesn't spring to mind.

BYD have a plant in Rayong that currently builds 150,000 cars a year.
SAIC Motor have plant in Laem Chabang to build its MG Cars.
Built in Thailand, there's no import tax.

Is anyone else finding it impossible to sign in to their Wise account?
No, I just logged into my account from the laptop not a problem, however I usually use the app because it's far easier and more secure, and the apps working fine too. Have you tried with a different browser, and if using a VPN then try logging in with the VPN off.

Thirty years ago I was working in Malaysia, Thailand was for visa runs, but I realised it would make a great base for work regionally in SE Asia.

We were in Songkhla recently on holiday, loved the city being right on the beach, old town was great, food excellent. Hat Yai we liked as well, good markets, shops, food. Wife would like to move there to live, but a holiday is very differant from living there. We are in Chumphon which is nice and relaxed but lacks good shopping.
We've been twenty years in Hat Yai, it's a very functional city, probably not the prettiest. and it's a bit short on history, being only as old as the railway, but we like it.

Bloomsbury International School out toward Hat Yai Airport might be worth considering

50k is a bit steep for a happy polyp ending mate. But as long as you are happy, then that's what counts.Thankfully I don't have a limited budget, you get what you pay for, the Bangkok Hospital Hat Yai is well run, minimum fuss, minimal waiting, I can fix dates that suit me. So yes I'm happy with the hospital.

I think that is a fair price considering he had 5 polyps and biopsies at a private hospital. Prices are rising everywhere on everything. IMHO
As far as I'm concerned it's value for money, they fitted it all in to my timetable, everything was carried out with minimum fuss, or sitting around and waiting. There is a family history of colorectal cancers so I'm not about to penny pinch.
