Am I wrong .... would you say anything ?
jak2002003 replied to steven100's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Why post the op if you think you are right.. Why ask if you were in the wrong if you believe you were not? Op you acted in a racist...and rude way to strangers in public. If what you said you did is true then that is a very simplistic, ignorant, stupid and nasty attitude. Is it a surprise to you that no one on this thread is supporting what you say you did? -
Air quality in 24 districts in Bangkok exceeds standard safety level
jak2002003 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
The title says 'air quality exceeds safety levels' ...so that is good.. It means the air is exceedingly safe! Seriously who would have emagined that this air pollution would be in bangkok at this time of year... What a total surprise! -
Not so many Americans maybe, as many are religious nutters and flat earthers. Many do not belive in evolution and think jesus was riding on the back of a T rex like it was a horse. They believe in the flood and Adam and eve and all that stuff... And the end of the world when they will all rise up to heaven in the rapture. I am sure a huge number of them will be praying to their invisable friend in the sky... And you just watch their news channels where people will be offering their prayers.

Mmmm.. Looks tempting. ???? I do eat raw meat, like prawns, laab buffalo, blood soup etc. Been eating it for years and never noticed I have worms or anything, and never been ill from it. The only raw meats I would never eat are chicken because high risk of salmonella, and pork, because it can have one kind of parasite that is not designed to live in humans and makes serious bad health problems when it forms cysts in the brain!!!!

Wow. I am so glad I do not get these anual health checkups. I worry about everything and I would make myself more ill from STRESS unless everything was 100 percent what it should be. Lol That result is nothing to worry about. Just make sure to eat foods higher in iron over the next year. Liver is a good one... And delicous. Parasites would not affect your iron levels unless you were literally over run with them.. Its actually been found to be healthier to have a few parasites, and it's natural. Keeps your immune system switched on and prevent allergies from the immune system attacking your own cells.

We stopped all dairy a few months ago. Reason was not about health, but rather we were fed up throwing away expired milk, or going to the shop to find the skimmed milk was sold out. Figured we did not eat much dairy anyway, and good cheese is way overpriced here. No would never go back to it. Actually feel healthier. We use the soi milk in tea and coffee now.

Irishman dies in kayaking incident in Thailand
jak2002003 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
He must have been out of it because he said he would swim to shore. He could not have said that and been understood by other people if he was underwater. -
Good point. Can fair skinned people also get offended by being called white? Or, if white skinned humans got offended by being refferd to as 'white', would that offend other colour skin people? And if the other coloured skinned people were offended by white skinned people being offended, would they be racist? What about if a white skinned humans identified as a black, yellow, green or purple skinned human? My goodness...i just think humans in general are so stupid.

I would have agreed with you about the air pollution. But actually the air quality is much better for the last few years.. I dont knwo why though..perhaps luck from the wind directions. Last few years hardly noticed any pollution and only bad for a week or two Before that it was torture. We were going to leave CM because of it..

You are quite right about the animal abuse. I was disgusted to see how they treat the animals at the shows. They were throwing snakes about and slapping them down hard down onto the concrete, squeezing them really hard when they held them. The animals cages were tiny, animals piled on top of each other or pacing up and down, obviously stressed. Most of the animals seem to have be caught from the wild. The monkey place the poor things had chains around their necks that were being violently yanked about and ear splitting loud music was plauing as they were looking terrified being forced to do tricks.. Dont even get me started on the elephants or tigers.

How many species of birds are in your yard.

Is the range map for that kind of bird? Bit odd they are recorded I land in the North East there! -
British woman breaks nearly every bone in face in Thailand
jak2002003 replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
Yes they would...a proper one. They have more head covering and the helmet goes around over your chin to protect from impacts with the jaw. -
Have you taken a look at most of the farang women over 30 these days... Particularly from the UK, Aus, or America. I don't want to be mean, but many don't pass for the gender they say they are, overweight lumps with short cut hair. Lol. The bathroom thing is just dumb. Have unisex ones...anyway that is off topic. Also, many of the people who change their gender do look amazing. Look at many of the ladyboys here or the Tom's. Very easy to mistake a Tom for a male. BTW, I can not believe some of the OP. There is no way doctors would proceed with the surgery and other treatments after only one hour long consultation.... And why would all those medical professionals pressure the guy into doing it? Seems like he just realised to made a big mistake... Way too late... And now is bitter about it and making money out of newspaper stories.

You have not friends near you because of one WALL? Go around there for a chat.. Go to the other houses...there can't be only one neighbour.. Thai are usually friendly and happy to talk or have a drink with anyone. I do live in rural chiang mai. I know all my neighbours. I also know most people on our local market and at the ma and pa shops. When I moved here 15 years ago it was even more rural. And only 2 other farang guys. You say you don't know anyone of your neighbours. That is not normal in thailand. I bet if I spoke to someone from your village they would all know you and your business. People love to gossip here. I think the problem lays with you.... Its not about people these days don't know their neighbours.. You are hiding behind that wall. If she had nothing to keep her warm how did she survive 80 more years of cold Seasons? She probably was lonely with no family or friends to be with her.
-
Well that is bad for you. You should make friends with you neighbours and people around you in case you need help. The woman of course would have had blankets. They are not getting them and throwing them away as they are valued. Having less money make you appreciate things. Even if no blanket she could have lit a fire. That is free. Burn anything. And add multi layers of normal clothes is even better than one thick coat. She was not stupid. To live to that age and not be rich would take brains and skill.. Dont patronise the lady thinks she is so helpless and poor to keep warm.

Nothing to do with it. They have no problem killing millions of pigs, chickens and cows every year with hammers to the head. No problem catching and keeping wild birds in tiny cages in the full sun, no problem fishing, shooting birds of prey, killing rats and mice, no problem curtting down forests and ancient trees for 'development', not a problem burning the forests on the mountains and trapping endangered deer and wild pigs. No problem torturing elephants to 'break' them and keep them in chains for tourists entertainment etc. It's not their religion that stops them putting dangerous dogs or suffering dogs to sleep.....
-
He was the owner of dangerous dogs. He allowed them to escape and kill someone. He did not take the precautions needed to house the dogs securely. He did not train them to not attack people. He even says he is bored with the and want to give them away. He is a selfish and irresponsible dog owner, and it's his actions that are to blame for the death of the victim.
