  1. One guy's story. How many US citizens still hostages with Hamas. Four, so exactly what has trump achieved for their release. Trump has many balls in the air, so I doubt he has much direct involvement with hostage negotiations, yet will claim all the credit if and when released.
  2. As U.S. President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans' so-called "Big Beautiful Bill" heads to the Senate, a watchdog group on Tuesday released a report highlighting that dozens of GOP members of Congress worth a total of $2.5 billion are set to benefit from the package, which would cut food and healthcare benefits for millions of working-class Americans. 'Nothing beautiful' about it: Outrage as 35 wealthy Republicans set to cash in on GOP bill
  3. Yes, but why are people earning say 20,000 p.a. even taxed, I assume they are defined as the working poor. On the other side of the coin why provide further tax cuts for people earning say $400k p.a.. Plus of Trump's tariff taxes are going to harm those on low incomes, whilst Trump boasts about enormous income increase for Fed govt from tariff taxes on imports.
  4. The Federal debt needs to be reduced, but not to be achieved by reducing Social Services for the less fortunate and definitely not in order to fund further tax reduction for the wealthy.
  5. <Snipped for brevity> One assumes you understand the cuts to social services are required to fund tax cuts for the wealthy. In addition the tax cuts for the wealthy in Trump 1.0 put the economy trillions in debt. The proposed OP Act will increase debt by a further 4 trillion over ten years. All this whilst Trump proposes the anti missile shield for USA at an enormous cost which many in the military claim is a waste of money. At a much smaller scale, but still in the millions p.a. is the cost to the tax payer for Trump's infatuation for golf. Love to know the cost for Secret Service protection whilst his family swans around the world doing business deals which Trump will directly profit from. Given Trump and Co boast about their billion dollar deals, how about the Trump family pay for Secret Service protection whilst on business trips.
  6. Vedic philosophy focuses on conscious union with the Supreme (not worship of superhuman power / powers, nor a separation between Man and God.
  7. IMO there is a big difference. i.e. Putin is attempting to re-create the Russian Empire, whereas USA does not have an Empire to re-establish. However, Trump is endeavouring to destroy the Rule of Law both domestically and globally. In addition to crushing criticisms of his Administration, attacking the judiciary, oversight and so on which Putin has already achieved. I would say Trump appears to be more focussed on generating the Cult of Personality than Putin.
  8. Incorrect. Veda / Vedanta the core is spiritual philosophy, not religion. Religion is corruption of Spirituality by Man for Power and control
  9. No need to be rude, each to their own. I adore Vedic philosophy.
  10. Atman is the individual soul, the essence of self within each being, while Brahman is the ultimate reality, the universal consciousness, or the divine essence of the universe. Advaita Vedanta, a school of thought within Hinduism, teaches that Atman and Brahman are essentially one and the same, the individual self being a manifestation of the universal Brahman.
  11. Trump mimics Mussolini's facial poses so excellent comparison
  12. I'm more often correct than incorrect. (I do fact check most of the time). If I were a MAGA believer I'd be incorrect about 90% or more of the time - no brainer really
  13. From Biden's Office Yes, is this instance. MAGA world forever conspiracy stuff, whilst always excepting Trump, is garbage
  14. Spokesperson for his Office. Reported by many media outlets
  15. Info in the public domain, not conjecture
  16. Perhaps so, but only subject to Civil Law penalty, not illegal deportation. Has Congress enacted law supporting "illegals" forced deportation to a third country? The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA) amended 8 U.S.C. § 1325 to provide that an alien apprehended while entering or attempting to enter the United States at a time or place other than as designated by immigration officers shall be subject to a civil penalty. https://www.justice.gov/archives/jm/criminal-resource-manual-1911-8-usc-1325-unlawful-entry-failure-depart-fleeing-immigration#:~:text=Section 1325 sets forth criminal, purpose of evading immigration laws.
  17. LOL - OK clarification: Trump Administration by way of Executive Orders. It's why so many Courts are challenging deportations / attempted deportations contrary to the Constitution
  18. In the US Prostate scans are advised against over the age of 70. US Preventative Services Task Force. However making a mountain out of a molehill as Biden did not eventually run for 2nd term.
  19. Yep, especially for MAGA supporters. Authoritarians usually cannibalise their own supports
  20. If the deportations complied to enacted law, there would no grounds to object other than on a humanitarian basis = case by case.
  21. Congress makes the Law, trump has not complied with existing legislation. therefore breach of Oath. Should be impeached again, but we know GOP has no balls.
  22. According to MAGA world it's fine for the President to breach his Office of Office to uphold the law? Hopefully it will not happen, but only yourselves, cowardly GOP and the Supreme Court id you end up in a dictatorship / autocracy in the coming three years. You already have a full on unshackled Trump family kleptocracy, so not too far to go.
  23. The only facts that have come to light is his last PSA test was ten years ago. From my own experience I had no symptoms whatsoever when I decided to have a PSA test. I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, advanced aggressive, Gleeson score 9: still alive 11 years after that result -prognosis approx another 2/4 years of life.
  24. Breaking US law by a President, thereby the Constitution is "good work'?
  25. Any answer would be an assumptive, as are your comments
