Another Sob Sister Story from the Leftards
simple1 replied to annotator's topic in Political Soapbox
What's the slang word in the US for Trump's "despicable" MAGA followers? -
First of all let's not forget the world wouldn't be facing the current scenario if Trump had not unilaterally withdrawn from the P5+1 Agreement. What do you suppose the purpose of Iran's nuclear program is? I would assume as a defensive measure, negotiating tool, or maybe energy / R&D. Iran cannot currently reach US with ICBM. In any case it's currently estimated it would take Iran 2/5 years to develop a suitable guidance system. IMO the only real danger is if Iran puts in place a real zealot believer in The End of Times; same could equally apply if Christiaan zealot came to power in the US. I would be very wary of any claims by NCRI , they remind me of the Iraqi group who fooled the US into attacking Iraq. Some reading material for you... https://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/what-we-know-and-dont-know-about-irans-nuclear-ambition/ksi53aux2 https://www.iaea.org/newscenter/statements/iaea-director-general-grossis-statement-to-unsc-on-situation-in-iran-20-june-2025

No, but not to the level suitable for nuclear weapons. IMO the demands for US and Israeli annihilation is political hyperbole. Currently there are conflicting opinions within the Trump Administration was to whether Iran was actually developing nuclear weapons capability, The IAEA also not calling out Iran for nuclear weapons development. All rather foggy, no clarity at this stage where this will end., though some players are stating a diplomatic solution will eventually come to light.

Don't think the West thinks the Iranian dictatorship is "good" However, Trump has acted without Congressional approval and as I understand in breach of the Constitution. Trump is now demanding Peace and warning against any military response from Iran - rather bizarre behaviour as was his demand for Unconditional Surrender" from a Sovereign State that is not officially at war with the USA. Recent history shows us US intervention in the M.E. was a disaster, let's hope it isn't repeated. Trump has called for God's support and approval of his attacks on Iran - Lol “We love you, God, and we love our great military. Protect them.” God bless the Middle East. God bless Israel, and God bless America.

Quite a bit of Israeli propaganda concerning the hospital hit, on front pages and so on. We don't know the accuracy of the Iranian guidance systems. but often they up hitting empty fields and so on. Whereas as Israeli missiles and so on are hitting Gaza medical facilities nearly every day and called out as targeting Hamas (if to be believed) i.e. highly accurate. Personally I don't believe the Iranian leadership is leaving as the religious crowd believe in end of times or at least for propaganda purposes. therefore major egg on face if evacuating. Will have to wait and see if Trump's offer of two weeks for further diplomacy makes any difference, I guess the Israelis are too happy about Trump However, Trump's big mouth - Unconditional Surrender- leaves him between a rock and a hard place with the MAGA crowd,

Only eight percent of the 805 miles that the state has identified for construction are finished, costing taxpayers more than $3 billion. The 30-foot-high wall costs roughly $28 million per mile to construct. The wall has plenty of gaps that the migrants and smugglers can walk around, and it’s mostly concentrated on ranches in rural areas, where unlawful crossings are less likely to take place, The Tribune noted last year. Similarly, the paper found last year that the wall would take roughly 30 years and more than $20 billion to finish. Texas spent $3 billion to build 65 miles of border wall. The state has now stopped the failed project

Trump Leaves G7 to Handle Middle East, Orders Evac
simple1 replied to Yagoda's topic in Political Soapbox
The member has never expressed hatred of the USA, only distaste of the political leadership - you should be ashamed of such poisonous post/s in the same vein as Trump's divisive awful attacks on US citizens. -
Isn't it illegal to employ "illegals"? So what going to happen to the employers and employees who are given waivers, Will employers and the employees be Forgiven and the employees US residency? Makes a joke of Stephen Miller's hardline and trump's endorsement. of the policy as they had plenty of time to work through the consequences.

Are these caddies like massage, gogo, bar girls?
simple1 replied to MalcolmB's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
No, caddies have a queue system, so if you prior book good for her. Also tipping is a good idea. The caddies are usually local females living with family etc. There would be exceptions. -
Trump Admin official figures mention 11 million in past four years. Then you would have overstayers entering by air. In total, CBP recorded approximately 11 million border encounters over the course of Biden’s four years. https://www.dhs.gov/news/2025/04/28/100-days-most-secure-border-american-history#:~:text=The Last Administration's Unsustainable Numbers&text=In total%2C CBP recorded approximately,to kill 14 billion people.

Trump Admin proudly proclaims US military are primed for lethality (killing) against unarmed protestors: Hegseth tells Congress his ‘war fighters’ are primed for ‘lethality’ ... as he sends them to face American protesters As he spoke, some 700 of these deadly war fighters had already left 29 Palms Marine base in the Southern California desert and were getting ready for their first deployment under his command. Their destination? The deadly war zone of Los Angeles. Their target? The flag-waving street protesters who have wrought havoc on a few city blocks, prompting desperate calls for help from no one in the state. Hegseth tells Congress his ‘war fighters’ are primed for ‘lethality’ ... as he sends them to face American protesters And those 21 million illegals in the US? How many migrants have crossed the US border illegally?

Allied citizen now to be placed in Guantanamo Bay
simple1 replied to bubblegum's topic in Political Soapbox
If deported to Gitmo they wouldn't have access to legal representation, I assume that's the purpose of intent. US allies would not be happy for such treatment of their citizens. Again one assumes they would be overstays. Perhaps the allied countries could ship US citizen overstays to Libya - lol Currently there are over 5,000 US citizen overstayers in Australia. https://www.migrationsolutions.com.au/australias-over-stayers/ -

LA’s top cop blames masked professional ‘anarchists’ for chaos at ICE protests and vows slew of arrests The chief of the Los Angeles Police Department is promising that the number of arrests made at the protests roiling Los Angeles will “pale in comparison” to current numbers, as violent clashes continue to spin “out of control.” Jim McDonnell blasted hooded “anarchists” who, he said, intend to cause mayhem and try to “get away with whatever they can,” at odds with the intentions of other peaceful protesters.
