  1. Well first of all they are not men...they are snivelling little weasels

It seems, ganging up on a person and putting the boots to them is part of Thai culture as nearly every time they show a video of a fight it almost always includes hard kicks to the head and or repeated kicks to the head when and after the victim is down and vulnerable.

    Why is that?

As I said before: The victim(s) in such cases should be allowed to have minimum 10 minutes in a jail cell with the little weasel(s) and "Beat The Bejesus Out Of Them" ......while a baseball bat is available if requested.

This form of Vigilante Justice is approved by: Judge Roy Bean, Law West Of The Pecos...lol

    What a load of rubbish.

Unless you have something to back that up, your speaking out your arse.

You do not know what happened and you are definitely naïve if you think it did not happen and or does not happen and or can not happen.

The police are easily persuade by others who come and pay them off to make it happen.

If you can not understand that is how it works here in Thailand, and all too often, then you are a fool.

Other people know what I am talking about, but you?????.......well then,  I guess ignorant is the word that best describes your retort.

I cant imagine for a second that i would be forced to pay money for another persons name.

I cant even see how it would happen.

my name is not the same as whoever is on that letter.

Anyway, as I mentioned a few times in this forum already... i will be notifying the bank that it is not me, and I will also contact the number on this letter and tell them too.

    Case Closed,

Yes...that is the whole point to what I explained.

Do not ignore the matter as it could grow worse and as a foreigner here in Thailand you are vulnerable.

    Good Luck

Probably ask how much compensation he should be getting sadly Colin

Like I always say: The victims and or family members suffering the injustices should have the option of 10 minutes alone in the jail cell with the perpetrators(s) and have the satisfaction of some self serving justice.....while a baseball bat is optional and available if asked for.

    Cheers

  5. Hmmm...sad......  and RIP.

I wonder what brand  name of alcohol he drank and would it have made a difference if he had of drank a different brand...some being crap quality and others being of quality...or so they say.

A lady I knew drank herself to death but not deliberately as far as we know ...but simply kept on drinking her vodka to the point of 2 / 3rds to 1 bottle a day ( I guess she was thirsty ) and finally took its toll on her.

She poisoned herself and overloaded her liver and related functions and died less than 12 hours after arriving at the hospital.

I could not feel sorry for her while she was better off dead in some respects as her life was miserable while she made her own life miserable by wallowing in her own self inflicted misery fueled all the more by alcohol.

She should have found solace in Cannabis and would probably still be alive today if she had of switched to Cannabis.

She used to claim: "I don't smoke that shxt and I hate people that do"....Rah, Rah, Rah..... and spoken in her raspy alcohol induced foul mouthed manner  ......while her vodka and water consumed for years and years was perfectly acceptable to her old school way of thinking ...lol

    Cheers

  6. Even if you are receiving a notice for the previous people that lived there do not assume the bank will not try to hold you responsible as you are now the one living there and they really do not care who they get money out of...even if it is the incorrect person and in effect they extort money from you as you would not be the first person ( foreigners included ) who ended up paying someone else's debt.

I would be somewhat concerned and I would address the problem and straighten it out before it festers into a larger concern and problem and they TRY to hold you accountable in someway and somehow.

And do not think it can not happen to you as I know of people who were in business and their partners "faded away" and left bills and debts and the remaining partner(s) were forced ( extorted ) to pay off the debt by way of association while the debts had NOTHING at all do with the partner or associate in the company rather private debts accumulated by the former partner or debts using the company as collateral or proxy and unknowingly while the partner(s) had no idea of what was going on and certainly not signatory to any of the debts...but still forced to pay or go to prison.

That  is how it can go down my friend as:  This Is Thailand ( TIT )

  7. Now there you go folks:

A near perfect example of the underlying collective mentality of all too many Thai people ( not all but all too many, unfortunately )   that exists just below the surface and ever omnipresent while this woman in particular has no shame at all to reveal herself as such.

You can only surmise what her reaction would be if she forgot her purse somewhere with 10,000 baht cash in it and credit cards and her cell phone and all her personal items and some person found the hand bag full of her possessions and money and then they demanded lets say, 20,000 baht for the return of her possessions and to add insult to injury minus the 10,000 baht cash while the person who says they found the hand bag claims there was no cash money inside when they found the bag...none at all.

Or.... that low life wench has her bag returned in good faith and then claims there was 30,000 baht in the bag and demands the person that found the bag pay her 30,000 baht and goes about extorting money out of the person trying to do the right thing.

    Nice eh???

  8. Was he was wearing that mask when he performed the sexual assault and always wears that mask and that is how they identified him....or is that the mask he will continue to wear so no one can identify him ..

But wearing that mask will make people understand that he is the guy wearing the mask, the one that did the dirty deed while he is thinking no one knows him while wearing the mask  but he will be known as the only guy wearing the mask all the time so everyone knows he is "that guy" and the one who did the dirty deed.....the one wearing the mask...right?...lol

    That makes sense right?....lol

What happened to the thai girl that was allegedly involved too?

No need to involve her any further as they have a foreigner to blame for "everything"...... while you can be assured she did everything she could to pin the blame on him.

He could tell the truth with proof  about what happened for ever and a day and it would not matter one bit as the police have their man and the show must go one.

Her complicit involvement or anything nefarious she did is of no interest to them any further.

  10. You and thousands of other men before you have been down the same road and milked by a cunning, money grubbing Thai women

    My story:

When my Thai GF was continually asking for money...and once too many times and once too many BS stories.... I made a plan.

When she finally went up country to see her family and relatives....... I moved out of my apartment and moved into another apartment and never talked to her again and I did not see her again, fortunately...but I did run into her friend almost 1 year or so later.

She said: You No good....Why you do like that to my friend

I said : Yes ..I am no Good ...and that is why I gave her the golden opportunity to find a better man...thank you....and one with more money than me.

And walked a way a happy care free man

The Thai women can be like parasites of the worst kind once they start to get their hooks into you for money and or possessions..... and  always be aware that 9 times out of 10 they are not doing it all alone as most often they have a family member or relative or secret  boyfriend or even a secret husband lurking around and helping her to plot and plan  and encouraging her and or demanding that she manipulate you ( The Farang ) for your money.

  11. All too often here in Thailand they do not properly "Ground' all the various electrical components and or electrical devices and equipment that would draw off the electrical system.

Often enough that can be the reason for your electrical leakage.

Correct me if I am wrong as that is what I was told by electrical engineers when it comes to the importance of grounding all electrical devices.

Usually you will have no problems but when they do happen, sometimes they are deadly when you become the ground conduit...

  12. This is another case of success and wealth at other peoples expenses ( victims in this case ) regardless of the ramifications and implications perpetrated by the low life con artist

There is absolutely no remorse to be found with people like this as they will always say it is just business and try to lie and claim the business failure is responsible and not themselves while 100 percent assured they will blame others and never allow themselves to be held accountable or responsible rather go into an even sleazier mode of operation and then attempt to (LIE)  and (BUY) their way out of this fiasco:   What is a fiasco?? : Something planned that goes wrong and is a complete failure

Meantime the higher ranking police officers are rubbing their hands together in anticipation while thinking about how much of the ill gotten gains can be diverted ( extorted ) to them.

I will be really surprised if the victims get any compensation or justice served but the thought of the Sleazy Con Artist held in a jail cell and all alone while each victim has permission to have a go at the low life for 5 minutes minimum  ....while a baseball bat will be on hand and  provided, if requested.

    Cheers

  13. You would think they would put up signs saying: Beware of pickpockets and thieves

I know that would not be good for "the image"...but would help matters and at least warn people.

That and any pickpockets and thieves should be stripped naked and paraded down the broad walk at the end of a rope with a sign hanging around their neck saying: "I am a thief and I was caught" and paraded around in the nude for 2 days minimum.

I am certain that would stop the other thieves and far more effective than the way they go about trying to thwart the thieves at present.

    Just a suggestion...just a suggestion...lol

  14. Welcome to Thailand....

Not what you thought....but the illusion remains attractive in some ways.

Give it time ..you will find your comfort zone.....  but learn to not expect too much and learn to tolerate all too many disappointments.

Not sure what video you watched.

The truck was on a lane that is not for doing the U-turn, does not use indicator.

The trucker was in a turning lane as you can see the painted on the asphalt right hand turn arrow / emblem 2 times in the video.

But still the accountability and responsibility to drive with caution and practice defensive driving would be more so upon the truck driver.

This is common sense anyhow and basically practiced by most heavy equipment operators ( of course not much here in Thailand ) knowing that the much larger vehicle and larger piece equipment is far more life threating and capable of more damage so the drivers should always be, let us say, more professional...but they are not here in Thailand while  all too many drive like they are on holidays...lol

    Indicators seen anyone?

    I didn't.

The truck is on the right-turn lane, car on the U-turn lane.

Truck uses the U-turn instead of the normal turn a bit ahead.

It's not unusual that a truck needs two lanes for a U-turn.

(assuming there is no rule/sign that would forbid U-turns for such long vehicle)

BUT in this case at least have working indicators (turned on) AND look into the mirror thoroughly.

The car driver would have needed superstitious foreshadow.

9x% responsibility of the truck driver.

Agreed...it is the responsibility and accountability of the truck driver more so than the car.

  17. Hey.....I wrote the book on pointing out the Me, Me, Me syndrome here in Thailand when it comes to Thai Style, Thai Culture driving.

That and the: "I am going to make my move NOW ( hysterical screams are heard ), regardless if it is super dangerous and everyone else is required to suddenly accommodate my super dangerous maneuver. .....while I am just going to do it anyway.

Happens all the time and standard driving practice here in Thailand while most often all the other drivers and their vehicles in close proximity are paying attention, fortunately, and or they have room and distance to accommodate the dangerous maneuver or the driver making the Me, Me, Me reckless and thoughtless maneuver is accommodated and allow them to do what they are doing  ....or.... suddenly ( Jesus, Allah, Buddha )  the other drivers are forced to accommodate the dangerous sudden maneuver and come very close to a collision ( schreeeeech ) while all around them and behind them other drivers are also being hard forced to make a sudden maneuver to avoid colliding........but some of them have no room to maneuver.

They usually give very little room or distance between one another's vehicles so if the lead vehicle  avoids hitting the one making the sudden and dangerous maneuver there is a very high probability one of the several other vehicles being near bumper to bumper to one another are going to collide and "squeeze crash" into one another.

Sometimes and all too often of course it does not work out the way it was planned by the offensive, reckless driver and BAM, wham-mitty,  wham ...another Thai style accident caused by a selfish and impatient, everyday reckless driver with attitude.

Happening right now as we speak.....but we just do not see it in the news.

I know , I know ...the same goes on in other countries......but we are talking about Thailand...... right???

Just pointing out it goes on here also...apparently far more so....lol

Yes, I learned recently that many/most bacteria will die when exposed to copper and so, by extension, brass and bronze. The old brass and bronze doorhandles actually killed bacteria whereas the modern stainless steel or plastic ones (as used in almost all hospitals these days), don't!

There is plenty of info out there about the bacterial killing abilities of metallic substances while Silver is the most noted having the ability to kill nearly all strains of Bacteria ( types of pathogens )

You can make a "silver particle solution" by way of simple Electrolyse and that resultant silver solution is effective at killing bacteria and fungus and viruses.

It is harmless and certainly any side effects are minimal and far less problematic than antibiotics and other chemical concoctions used to try and kill pathogens.

I have used colloidal silver many times successfully for a variety  of ailments.

If they were to use colloidal silver for eliminating the Legionella bacteria the problem would be resolved
