My wife has just bought a new house in an area called "Pong", east from Lake Maprachan. You will pass nearby if you follow the small lake which you encounter when following the street on which the restaurant "Sicily" is found. We forgot to ask the builder about possibilities of internet connections. May anybody give us a good advice ? Currently I have 500 up/500 down at a very reasonable price from TOT near Na Jomtien (Fiber). The question of questions is: Which provider does cover this area at all (fibre connection preferred) ? Help is greatly appreciated. Although the area is not that crowded there must be hundreds of Internet customers and there are as well some gated communities nearby.

Some selected memories from since I was 2 years old, then a couple of memories for a prolonged time at about 4 - 5. Now with 67, my ability to remember seems to fade at times - even of things that just recently happened.

Nothing to complain.

I was told that in order to register for the cheap health insurance scheme (30 THB) the Thai people have in the province where they live, it is mandatory that you are listed in a blue book and be it your own. In this case a chanote will not get you very far I think. And Immigraton might as well raise a big question mark when the TM30 application for me then later is accompanied by a chanote rather then a blue book (as well referred to Tabien Baan). And who cares who the owner is. The chanote could show that she owns land on Koh Samui.

I forgot of course the National ID-Card of my wife. My wife will change it this week. Not sure if the TM43 has been scrapped before you may (must) submit the TM30. I suspect as well that in order to do that (without rental contract) a copy of the blue book of my wife should come first and my registration in it might be mandatory before my wife (or me) may submit the TM30. How else to prove that the adress is correct. I remember that I submitted a TM30 instead of my landlord once.

I live together with my wife in a rented condo in my name. Now my wife has bought a house in the same province (Chonburi) and we intend to change our living adress to there within the next months. What documents have to be modified or created and in what order ? TM43 ? TM30 ? Driving License ? Entry in new Blue Book of my wife (is then the 13 digit number (her IDCard) my Passport number ? Visa related info (I have a Thai Elite Visa) Bank related info (change of adress for all bank accounts) My and her Will (already initiated) My and her Living Will Registration in Government Hospital (only my wife) Anything wrong or missed out ? Thanks for your advice !

There are several hotels on the premises of Suvannabhumi, like Novotel. How about the ultra convenient, ultra save option to book a hotel room well before your flight ? As far as I am concerned I like the security of not coming too late, and my wife and myself took that option once for a flight very early in the morning. May be combined with a nice breakfast. For a taxi solution you might try to contact "Nam's Taxi Service". Just have a look on the net. They are flexible and reliable.

We use a double-door Samsung Fridge-Freezer combined refridgerator for more than 5 years. The only (neglectable) problem is a bit of noise that is noticed from time to time. Otherwise I do not see any disadvantage. Freezes and cools as it should. And it never has failed. Our next freezer will be a very large one (brand undecided) again with two swinging doors but as well with a built in ice-maker. We will move soon to our own house andmay therefore decide better.

We drop in from time to time to control what all your Brits, Yanks and Aussies are propagating to the world. Super reliable and responsible - not far from it. I am married nearly 17 years with my Thai wife and we get along very well and no way would my wife or myself be a condidate for some adultery. But good luck for you. Really.

Suggetion accepted. I haven't got a clue. I dont know as well Cricket rules (not even Baseball). But kg, meter have been introduced as the physical standards worldwide. I was sometime thinking about this. It will probably never change for real items. Think about the trillion screws that would need to be adjusted (the steepness of the screw thread is partly based on metric measures, some follow the other system). Maybe they manage to exchange these odd measures like "cup", "teaspoon" for something meaningful.

You are right, the plan should have come first. I am indeed German, not pedantic at all (a total prejudice) but precise to the extent that the overall result is looking nice. A measuring tape is not enough because it does not allow you to simulate configurations on the PC. Or do you want to move around furniture pushing it around ? The virtual method has proven to be very successful. ......And by the way it is not for you to judge what caring "too much" about minor detail is. I dont mind if you do not care about details in your condo or house and I would not dare to judge if this is enough or not.

About 12 years ago I got the diagnosis prostate cancer Gleason Score 8 and they performed a total prostatectomy using a surgical robot. I thought this was something like "terminal", but as you see I am still here - which is unusual. So in rare cases you cannot be sure even if the doctors tell you otherwise. So do not be too quick. But if it would be really terminal (for me it could be a chemical relapse, this can be detected easily) then I would search for methods to leave this world as painful as possible and especially as undisturbed as possible. The Flying Brigade does not fit into that scheme since the final condition of the very subtle mind has profound implications on your rebirth (just skip that if you dont believe it - its true anyway) So which club I would have to enter ? Fortunately I have as well a cardiomyopaty (weak heart with EF below 27). This could result in a Heart Attack or sudden stop of the heart. Whish me luck !

My Wife just bought a brand new house, she has already the Chanotes with her names, only the full printout of the blue book will be provided tomorrow by the Land Office. Everything is paid already. There are many people involved, the "Owner", the "Estate Agent" and the "Builder" and probably more. But this "Builder" does not want to provide the floor plan for inside the house. His reason is that I could copy that and he obviously feels that he has some property right on that. According to my experience, Keys, payments and floor plan always go together. I sold a condo myself once. So, easy enough, I can order someone to make the drawing for me - needed for the measurements of new furniture etc. But honestly - this all seems quite strange to me. Is it customary here in Thailand that you sell an item (in this case a house) without full documentation ? I get a plan for the vicinity of the house, though, where you can see were the entrance is and the swimming pool.

Is Starbucks the rightful King of the Coffee Universe?

I neither live in Jamaica nor Bangkok, but In Sattahip. So should be somewhere around Pattaya Grand. Nespresso had it as a limited edition. 65.-- per capsule.
