Xylophone and others who have shown an interest here is my update. Previously I typed in Notes on my phone eveyones suggestions, since then I have renewed my phone and not copied it over to my new one so yesterday I went through this thread and hand wrote all the suggestions I liked. Then I went to Lotus to buy but I forgot to take my list !! I did remember a few names as I looked in Lotus,19 crimes, wolfblass, Mcguigans etc but then an assistant started talking to me and showed me wines that are discounted. They don't put up a notice, eg reduced from 799 to 650, but just put a new price label over the old one in the slot beneath the bottle. So she removed a few labels and showed me the previous price, as I am looking to buy a 'better' wine I thought I would buy these as I am getting a higher priced wine at a slighly reduced price, 100-150 Baht I think. So my plan is to drink them and note which ones I like. This is what I bought, I think 4 were reduced, I was on my motorcycle so only buy 5 bottles as they fit comfortably under the seat. Trivento Malbec 699 Baht Chateau Haut Lamothe Bordeaux 496 Baht Chateau La Bastie 546 Baht De Chateau Meyre Haute Medoc 751 Baht Koudiat Cotes Du Rhone 499 Baht. I think all but the Malbec were reduced. I drank the Chateau Meyre Haut Medoc last night but I wasn't impressed ! It wasn't as smooth as I expected for the most expensive one I bought but that's probably my palate and lack of knowledge. However, I will still take my wine list with the suggestions but ask again next time I go to Lotus for any with reduced price and try to find my own favourites. They didn't have any Pinot Grigio which I like but I just looked in Wine Connection and they had 3 fromm around 790 to 899 but it was 2 pm so I could not buy. Next time.

I find the QR code a lot less hassle than using True money. And there's heaps of dross out there.

So have you had a reply on telegram about your missing catchup channels ? I still have BBC 1, 2 ch 4, ITV 1 and Sky Max plus sports on catchup

Do you also have catchup service? If so who is your provider please?

Bullsh*t, all good (and bad) imported beers are a lot more expensive than the local beers.

Not sure if its telegram but its the contact button on the logon page. I resorted to that as no email reply but not sure if it's the same as their email?

Thanks for the info. They normally reply to my emails or fix the problem within a day so the fact there's no reply makes me think they are unavailable.

I have 3 boxes, no problems until now which appears to be with the supplier and if the authorities have pulled the plug maybe he's not answering if he's in jail !??! You do have to update your boxes periodically, modern apps won't work on old equipment, old versions of android or only 1/2 GB memory et0

Wrong, wrong and wrong. And if you pay more than 400 ish Baht a month you aren't getting what you pay for but overpaying..................

Mmmm maybe time to look for another supplier but I've tried a few over the years and nearly all have buffering problems.

Have you tried contacting them? My queries are normally answered the same day but no reply for a few days to 3/4 emails.

Xylophone, I've just looked at Vinum Lector website but I don't see any prices. Maybe it's a case of you get what you pay for so I should just try a few in the 600 + price range.

Any other hdprime users experiencing missing UK channels on catch-up? Ch 5, ITV 234, sky channels etc. Previously I've said how good their support is and how quickly they reply to emails and resolve problems. I've emailed them 4/5 times in the last few days with no reply.

Good day all I have just reread my whole thread ( I am the OP) as I have decided to up my budget to 1,000 Baht although I now see many posters offered wines at 500-700 ish, I was drawn to the McWilliams display at 405 Baht in Villa Market and forgot about looking for others even though I typed a list on my phone to use when shopping. So I will now try all the ones I missed out on mentioned here but still open to new suggestions in the 500-1000 Baht bracket. Thanks all.

Actually a zapper/taser, small oblong one that doubles as a torch works. You don't actually zap the dog, just press the button and the noise scares it away. I've had 2, rechargeable, but the batteries don't last long so ended up just using the torch and then the torch on my phone seemed to keep them away. All I see is income, therefore working or own a business in Thailand. You say demand a refund so therefore you have been paying tax in Thailand. Tax on what? Anyways I will take the advice of the lady in the Revenue office who refused to give me a TIN as I am not working in Thailand.
