Back side of one of my 90 day report receipts. Full photo page of Japanese passport.
At least they blanked out the personal data.
? I'll bet ya 5 baht it was Tywais that kindly provided the blocking out of the personal info and photo.
The "I'll get my coat" went 10km or more over your head

Hope you crash. Sick of the awful drone of those things round my house. Tell me where you live & I'll come over with a megawatts sound system & play MESmith & The Fall CDs all night!

If draw a line across the back of the paper? Wonder if that is acceptable?
Done that once to save paper and got told off because the Immigration Officer had to turn over the paper. Conclusion: online reporting OR print on both sides of paper.
Try printing same info on both sides of paper. no need to turn it over

"The two other major contributing factors are construction projects and the outdoor roasting of meat."
No mention of poorly maintained black smoke belching trucks & buses

RimPing Meechok Plaza, had several Norbest Turkeys in freezer
today, price 500 THB Kg.,so they have them, but price has increased
considerably.
regards Worgeordie
In desperation I left word with the Rimping Meechok to call me when their inbound turkeys arrived..... they called about 4 -5 days before Thankgsgiving.... I went out the next day and saw that the were 499 per kilo , Norbest, so I called off the Thanksgiving Dinner we usually prepare. To those who were calling, emailing or otherwise asking about TG Dinner my sincere apologies. And I do sincerely thank you for thinking of us for this holiday. This year Norbest at Rimping 499 b/p/k..... last year Butterball 175 baht per kilo...... I just could not see playing that game..... also now I will be shopping a lot less at Rimping, thanks to this little exercise. A little guy pulling a price supply and demand gouge, maybe ok, but a big chain like Rimping or any other..... NO WAY So in deference to the turkeys..... Rimping can , Get Stuffed .....an that is my boycotte recommendation to all those who use or used to use this chain.
Maybe they had to fly them in,so they would have some for Christmas, that would explain a price rise,
but they should explain why last year 175 THB Kg,this year 499 THB, thats a huge increase.
regards worgeordie P.S. I don't think RimPing is the importer, maybe Makro,CP, so if they paid more they would have to sell more expensive,so don't think a boycott is in order.
Boycott the turkey! Crispy roast pork for us, with home made apple sauce, sweet potatoes for Xmas

but, seriously, shouldn't the paper copy you get back from a 90 day report be the bottom bit of the tm-47 you submit.....
That photo I posted is the back side of the bottom bit of the tm-47 (receipt) they sent me.
Why don't they use the paper we send in? We print out the form, but they return something else!

Start doing it online. It is working.
Not for everyone. It's a lottery

Obviously, the whole reason for 90 day reporting is so immigration can collect paper to print out receipts for 90 day reports

I suppose it was his own fault for stopping at a red light. If his colleagues had taken their job seriously all year round and enforced traffic laws (God forbid) this may never have happened. All i can say is mai pen rai.
That's a serious contender for the ugliest, nastiest most worthless comment of the year.
Certainly hope I never meet you in the flesh.................
But it's true. Traffic laws are not enforced, except for check points to bully the weakest. You reap what you sow.

19 C outside our house most mornings. Cool enough. Expect it to drop to 14 C in a few weeks. Seems normal to me, so far.
Yes the mornings are normal but 33 degrees at Hang Dong at 1pm ,that aint normal
Buy a new thermometer or move. Max of 31 where I live.

Tried this morning. Firefox & Chrome with the recommended addons to emulate IE. Chrome takes forever to input data & after 1st screen I get a blank page. Firefox allows me to enter the data quickly, but I get a white screen after giving name & arrival card data. Windows 10

No one is pointing at the suspect, so the case against him must be weak...

Please be aware that it's the usual racism getting into the park with Thai price being 50 thb and falang price 6 times higher at 300 thb.
Well, given that all people of the Asian race except Thai nationals pay B300, and that I (a whitey, but with the right ID card) pay B50, call it nationalism if you like. But it ain't racism.
When was the last time you got in for 50 baht? Or do you have PR with Thai ID card?

Pedal up the Doi Suthep hill? Not me, thanks. But can anyone join this Bike Ride at any spot and pedal as far as desired? I could go around the city a bit.
If Bike for Dad had been declared a PH, then golf courses would need to up the ante and thereby upset many falang golfers.
Any idea what time this bike ride will start, will reach Wat Suan Dok?
Pedal up Doi Suthep? Don't believe that is part of "Bike for Dad". Pretty easy anyway, as long as you have a bike with gears. Not steep at all, apart from the last hairpin before the temple.

Build to live in is the right way. Build to sell seems crazy to me. Buy land to sell, ok.

I've wondered about this, too. I thought China had a one-child policy and families preferred to have sons, but we sure seem to attract the young female Chinese tourists. Perhaps Chiang Mai is seen as someplace "safe" for them to go and the Chinese men of their age group are going someplace more adventuresome.
The army?

I will be taking part, though I have to say, it's a lot of fuss over a 20k ride. I've been cycling in a yellow shirt for a couple of weeks now, though it is a Tour de France winners yellow jersey, it's 'Royal' colour gets some response and it even feels like I have a bit more respect on the road than usual. Maybe worth a try for the keen cyclists out there.
Big congratulations for the Tour de France yellow jersey. Not many people earn the right to wear those

If you are able and so inclined, why not do it yourself?
I have time and last year did the whole ground floor of our house, inside.
I took my time and it wasn't expensive, but it was perfect.
A forum search should reveal good painters, as Dante99 suggests.
The insides are generally relatively easy, but the tipping point is when you need the outside doing. a 2 story house with peaked roofs is not easy when it needs scaffolding or at least an extension ladder. after living amongst the safetly of scaffolding for years, the top of an extension ladder is pretty scary and tiresome.
My kids like a bit of adventure. "No Gravity" climbing wall at home with a pot of paint

I need a hat to stop the sweat running down my face ...... so a helmet covers the sweaty hat nicely.
Not to mention I've hit the road 3x this year.
1 m/c strike from behind, I somersaulted back over the m/c knocking him off.
1 MTB crash in the rain, 35Km/hr round a bend in the rain was too fast.
1 Road bike crash on a wet patch of road, 50Km/hr on a wet corner was too fast.
And gloves......... my hands would have been shredded without armored gloves.
And skin cancer, my forehead gets skin cancer, gotta be covered, might as well be covered with a helmet.
Full Lycra suits now too, saves me a lot of skin when I slide along the road.
Sounds like you need a full kevlar suit

I don't have to go that far to see burning rice fields. Harvest is nearly over here in CM. Only need to look out of my closed windows
