Without that tidbit of information, I'm open to the possibility that it was a drug overdose and the guy just panicked to get rid of the body. That doesn't exonerate the guy, but it would paint a different picture.

Once they knew who he was, they put a note on the Immigration system. For there, Immigration will notify whomever put the note on the system.

The interim step -- once they knew who to look for -- was going through any camera info as to where he went. Then they knew where to look for anything suspicious and they found the suitcase.

If she came after him with a knife (as someone stated above), that could be his blood. In fact, his case would be improved immensely if it was his blood, and if he had a stab wound or 2.

But that should all be in the pathologist's report. Until that's released, it's all a guess, except the part about her being underage. And she may have fake ID. It's been known to happen.

I’m not sure what you are trying at. Recent Thailand news has had foreigners involved in fighting with weapons, underage abuse, trafficking, and now murder. It does not get much worse than that.
