A complaint posted by Phuket Times on 15 August alleged that a foreign man and woman carried out sexual activity on the balcony of a Phuket hotel room, with noise said to have disturbed nearby residents during the night.
The complainant said the couple's loud behaviour happened three times and prevented others in the building from sleeping. The hotel was not named, and the images shared with the post do not clearly show what occurred.
The post, published by the Facebook page Phuket Times, included photographs showing a foreign male and female tourist on a room balcony. The original poster described the incident as outdoor sexual activity and said loud excessive moaning could be heard.
"They were making love outside the hotel balcony and were very loud," the complaint said. "The first time was not too bad; I thought it would end, but then there was more. They did this three times. Why not do it in the room and close the door properly?"

The post drew a wide range of comments online. Some readers criticised the reported behaviour, while others questioned whether the available photographs were clear enough to establish what the couple were doing.
One commenter wrote, "Were you unable to sleep because you were following the sound?" Another said the picture was unclear and that it was impossible to see what the people were doing.
Others suggested closing doors and windows to reduce the noise. One comment joked that it was because "the wind was cool".
