Tomorrowland 2026 Sells Out in Pattaya

Tickets for the inaugural Tomorrowland Thailand music festival have sold out, with all 150,000 tickets purchased shortly after sales opened, Tourism and Sports Minister Surasak Phancharoenworakul announced on Tuesday 7 July 2026, following the weekly Cabinet meeting.

The three-day electronic dance music festival will be held just outside Pattaya, Chon Buri this December. Around 50,000 tickets were sold for each day of the event, reaching the festival’s full capacity of 150,000 tickets. The government expects the event to attract the 50,000 visitors daily and generate around 6 billion baht in economic activity.

Thailand has signed a five-year agreement to host Tomorrowland, with the government projecting the festival will contribute at least 30 billion baht to the economy over the life of the contract. Officials see the event as part of a broader strategy to strengthen Thailand’s position as a major international tourism and entertainment destination.

According to Surasak, around 85% of ticket buyers are international visitors, while 15% are Thai attendees. Overseas visitors include both short-haul and long-haul travellers, with many expected to extend their stay in Thailand beyond the festival dates.

The minister also said premium festival packages priced at 150,000 baht or more have been sold, adding to the projected economic impact. The event is expected to create around 4,000 jobs during both the preparation period and the festival itself.

The government said extensive arrangements are being made to support the large number of visitors. These include dedicated shuttle bus services, improved public transport, increased police deployment and volunteer assistance to help manage the event safely and efficiently.

Organisers will also work closely with government agencies to implement comprehensive security measures for festivalgoers and nearby communities, around the festival site at Wisdom Valley. The minister said these preparations are intended to ensure both safety and convenience throughout the three-day event.

Khaosod reported that the sold-out festival represents a significant milestone ahead of Tomorrowland’s debut in Thailand, with authorities now focusing on delivering the event later this year. Preparations will continue in the coming months before the festival opens in Chon Buri in December.

Good to hear, they are sold out, so need to expect 50.000 visitors anymore only the revenues, as the tickets are sold out..

and the packages are very expensive. 150.000 THB.. I am wondering who are buying these.. I can't imagine that European tourists do that as in Europe there is similar festival too and probably much cheaper..

I'm glad that it's far enough away from me that I won't (shouldn't)

be kept awake by the noise.

Exactly! I've got a friend that lives approx 5 km from the venue and the pounding bass is pretty loud, luckily only three days and once a year!

Bt.150,000.00 was for the top shelp premo packages.

My tickets were Bt.8000.00 for 3 days general admission.

Hope you enjoy! Not my kind of music but I love going to festivals, this will hopefully be fantastic!

I wonder if Patts will ever have a metal music festival... @johng might need to move further away if it did... 🤘🙂

Anybody know where exactly it is going to be held? 'Just outside Pattaya' is rather vague.

If find It quite interesting to see this becoming part of Thai modern youth culture.

My niece is a greeter at a private hospital, so she has a disposable income, probably wouldn’t go to a club in sukhumvit but she never misses an opportunity to go to these festivals - I know them as raves.

150,000 bt sounds quite reasonable , assuming these "packages" include-: A return business class flight and chauffeur driven transport , Two weeks all inclusive accommodation in a 5* resort, Unlimited "pharmaceutical quality" recreational drugs and Free emergency medical treatment if required

For those who just rock up on foot I'm guessing its free? or somewhere around 150bt if all 150,000 people turn up that would generate 22.5 million more than enough to pay for Somchai and his record player and some flashing lights, with probably enough left over to get a foam machine and a laser Its not like they have to pay any musicians or anything

So, is hosting what is nothing more than a glorified rave, really going to attract the "quality tourists" they claim to be targeting ? Or is it just going to fill the budget hotels with the drug addled zombies that mong out to this sort of music whilst their dealers enjoy the overpriced packages

If some of that 22.5 million doesn't find its way to the boys in brown then expect plenty of urine tests, at least that will take the strain off the provided facility

The Festival will be in Wisdom Valley, roughly 20 km south of central Pattaya. The site sits inland, surrounded by tropical hills and palm forest

Weirdly I can sleep to Iron Maiden 😋

The AI generated "music" at this rave will be nothing like Iron Maiden, It will be exactly the same as the "traditional" musical offerings enjoyed at weddings and funerals throughout Thailand , Its played a special frequency which drives dogs crazy , rattles windows , and renders people incapable of sleep .

This will make the experience possible for those not lucky enough to live in a provincial Thai village. Lets just hope whoever is in charge of the mixing desk is as "skilled" as the son of our Poo Yai Ban

Not to mention 120,000 international visitors needing accomodation, will be a boon for Pattaya.

Glad I live only a few KM away... will be interesting with 8 friends that are flying in for it sleeping on my lounge room floor!

The venue is Wisdom Valley, located in Khao Mai Kaeo,

It is east of Pattaya. You would use Roads 36 and 3240 to travel there.

I'm glad that it's at least 14KM as the crow flies from were I live.

There was a similar type of event a few years ago that was about 5KM's away and that kept me awake for 3 days till the early hours even with the windows and curtains closed and my white noise machine (aircon) in operation... My wife slept through it like a baby 😵‍💫

Tomorrowland is bigger and in Thai culture be sure you almost can hear it in Chiang Mai.. there are no sound levels here and Thai people like to volume up the bass that even the cups on the table a few miles away are dancing..... Not the place to be if you take care of your ears

Sounds like a great event if well organised

Imagine if they could do a South East Asian Glastonbury. The tourism revenue would be enormous and much cheaper than an F1 race.

Thailand is in a unique position. Singapore is too crowded and expensive. Malaysia is confined by "modesty"laws applying to public events. Vietnam could do it.

according to Google Maps, it is East of Pattaya, near Regent School, other side of 36, not South.
