libya 115 Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 Finnish man claims he was drugged Mr. Hannu Gustafsson, aged 51, a Finnish national came into Dongtan Sub-station on 6th January at midnight to inform the police that he had been drugged and robbed. Mr. Gustafsson told the police that at 6 pm on 5th January he was out at JKK beer bar on Pattaya 2nd Road – opposite Mike Shopping Mall and brought a lady from the bar back to his room in View Talay Condo 1. He claimed that shortly after arriving back at the room, he suddenly felt dizzy and fell asleep. When he woke up the woman was gone – together with his 15,000 Baht and mobile phone. The police took the man back to the bar where they found the lady called Som. She admitted that she had gone with the man to the condo the previous night but she didn’t steal anything. The police allowed Mr. Gustafsson to talk to the lady for a while and must have come to some understanding as the police soon left the scene without any charges being made. Often, with physically tall or big tourists, they multiply the dose of that shit they pour into their beverage or apply otherwise. Some tourists do not wake up at all or have to spent several days in hospital. When the drugged tourist goes to the police he is only object of derision. Police assumes: a drunkard, foolish enough to take a prostitute with him, silly enough to get drugged, he got what he deserves. But, when the tourist finally has left pattaya I guess they will eventually show up at the bar and claim a reasonable fee or share for not having arrested the bar girl.
