Have you actually checked the rates in both countries? Make sure you won't lose out in a big way by doing this.

 

For Vietnam the maximum is 2 million baht. You have to declare anything over 450k baht.

And they are not cheap either!!!

have a look at macquarie ozforex,worldfirst,worldremit compare exchange rates and fees,ive used macquarie many times,seem to have the best ex rate compared to the other 2,no fees to transfer over 10,000 aud.

I believe all the companies you have quoted don't do transfers from Thailand to Oz.
