Nen Kham, a former monk who has been stripped of his Buddhist robes and title, pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges of raping a minor at Criminal Court, reported Bangkok Post. The charges against him state that he illegally took custody of a girl younger than 15 and raped her. The events allegedly began in January 2000 and ended in mid-2001. He is also suspected of fathering a child with her, though no charges have been filed regarding that suspicion. RichardColeman
Don't you wish the punishment fit the crimes ? Still, I'm sure that orange robe will be lifted a few times in his prison life.

In principle, withholding the image of a person charged awaiting trial seems a good idea, making an exception just because everybody knows what they looks like is opening a hornets nest because how do you draw the line (define the exception)? better leaving as all or none.
