Two senior officials of the National Office of Buddhism turned themselves in to the police at the Corruption and Misconduct Suppression Division on Friday (Sept 22) to acknowledge corruption charges in connection with alleged bribery in the disbursement of temple fund.

The two officials are Mr Chatchai Chuchua, director of Buddhism Division of NOB and Mr Payong Seeluang, a civil engineer attached to the NOB.

I thought they missed the letter 'K' off the start  of the word, then realised it was an acronym !

This is what happen when you have billions of baht in unchecked monies

just laying there at the control and whims of " Buddhist officials "

just too much to resist not dipping your sticky fingers into them,

Is there any thing in this country too sacred or  out of bounds NOT

to steal from?....

Probably been in the works since 1985 or so I would guess?

Nope. Rape & pillage is the word of the day when one enters "civil service" in Thailand.

If such were not true, we would not hear about it for decades on end.

You! You! You no unnastand!!!
