Yes , holding a kg of gold feels weird , and that is of personal experience . I would not want to stick it where the Sri Lankan put it.

 

@Kieran00001 : I was talking again and again , 99,9 % bars are the same everywhere . The 0,1 inpurity doesn't change the colour unless they put a um ( micrometer) of an other metal to cover the gold bar.

You never let a government know what you own ! ( especially gold)
