90 day online report from Europe

Featured Replies

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has done a 90 day online report from outside of Thailand.

I am guessing it should be ok,but maybe immigration notice your ip address is not located within Thailand when logging into their site and would tbis matter if they do?

I will be away in Europe until my final report date is due, so was hoping to report from there before I land back in Thailand.

Thanks in advance for any advice offered.

Think you maybe confused a bit here.

If you have legally left Thailand, ie, stamped out by immigration, there is no need for you to do 90 day reporting. On return to Thailand your next report will be in 89 days time, clock starting at day one when you get your entry stamp.

thanks crisinth. I obtained a reentry permit so I assumed my status remained the same ( ie . 90 day report same date) your reply makes sense though. Appreciate your advice.

It is a report of staying longer than 90 consecutive days in the country. If you  leave on or before the 90th day it is not due.

The first report is due 90 days from the date you enter the country including that day in the count.

Note that you won't be given a new report date when you're-enter the country so it will be up to you to keep count. Some local offices, reportedly, want you to report to them when you return from a trip abroad.
