Who's demonizing them? Some of us are just pointing out that the tax proposal, as it stands is likely to disproportionately favor the rich. And that it's almost certain - given the nature of Trump's business - that he's lying when he says the tax proposal won't benefit him.

Agreed:

Q: What DOESN'T 45 lie about? He is, by definition, a Pathological LIAR. I don't listen/trust a word he utters. His regime is also a bunch of liars.

The wealthiest American's pay the most taxes and will continue to pay that.I'don't know what country your from and their tax laws but in America when you pay taxes you try to pay as little as you can .The rich people do this by using accountant's who understand the IRS rules and regulations on legitimate deductions and allowances.Donald Trump is highly scrutinized so it would be logical for him to pay only what is required and not lie

It would have to be massively changed to make it equitable given that the current non-partisan analysis says that almost 80 percent of the benefits would flow to the 1 percent. Actually mostly to the .1 percent.  And shockingly enough one of the chief beneficiaries of the proposed plan would be pass-through businesses. Their tax rate would be lowered from 39.6 percent to 25 percent. I'll give you 1 guess as to what kind of business the Trump organization is. But not to worry, Trump gave his word that the plan wouldn't benefit him.

"the current non-partisan analysis says" Can you state your source?

Tax Policy Center

In 2002, tax specialists who had served in the Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton administrations established the Tax Policy Center to provide analysis of tax issues. The following year TPC developed a tax simulation model to analyze the federal income tax and proposals to change it. That model has evolved to incorporate new and additional data, changes in federal tax law, and other aspects of the tax system and the economy.
