When they have to take a real test.

I took a driving test once, I passed, but the only thing it gave me was a driving licence

Total see you next Tuesday's.   No regard for anyone but themselves.

The problem is that they never have any real lessons either in school for life or in the non existing driving school.
Lesson and learning is just 2 of the words that Thai people just not use.

When the punishment fits the crime, which will be......

Road safety and driving need to be taught in School, more use than marching about and singing songs

No medicine can ever cure stupidity of the people here!

and when will this be ??? when one replaces a licence one has to do all the silly tests again.....so they will do same and get a new licence...

or as we know some even pay to get a licence or have another person take "the TEST"

expect nothing from thai drivers; get less

More likely to get more than you bargained for

Why don't other drivers alert him to his dangerous load by honking or flashing their lights at him?

Taken some years ago on the Chiangrai road.  I didn't have time to take a photo round the blind bend as I was too busy trying to avoid all the chickens all over the road, sadly this was before dash cams.

It will never ever happen...because they are complete idiots...not only on the roads...

Why didn't the car reporting this, pull over the driver, and protect people from the drivers stupidity.

Because he was liable to get shot for his troubles !   Better if he had taken the vid' to the Police and let them deal with it....if they could be bothered.

Watch the video again....The radio towers in the background on the mountains, are there for the Army and the Hatyai International Airport...

Well thats my opinion, as i have seen those towers many times. I did read the post and watched the Video...

Who cares anyway, it's like this on most roads, no matter where it is....

Because we're not allowed to pull over drivers i guess?

I can't see the licenseplate well but that would give info about which country it happened.

When driving please remember that the overwhelming majority of Thai drivers are first generation.  They often think like they have an ox cart not a pick-up.  Auto drivers are all in a racing car.

Be careful, its dangerous.

Doesn't work, many even have no driverslicense. And the police can't be bothered.

One Thai institution to another: If we were going to keep the general population this dumbed down, we probably shouldn't have allowed them to operate motor vehicles.

Actually I think he is aware of the steel rods overhanging the side..

if you watch the video clip carefully every time he passes another vehicle he moves over to the far right of the road, then after passing he comes back to the centre of the lane...

I think this is one very stupid & callous driver!

You don't have to be educated to understand what you are doing wrong. You just need to have a common sense.

Unfortunately sense is far from common.
