Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wissanu Krea-ngam said on Thursday (Sept 28) that ex-premier Yingluck Shinawatra can appeal the prison sentence handed down by the Supreme Court within 30 days.

 

Under the existing law, he said she has the right to appeal as the new legislation is not yet in force.

 

But he said the new law will take effect within the next few days. The legal expert also said that the statute of limitation of the case ruled by the court will terminate after 10 years under the existing law.

Her Lawyers should call their bluff and file for an appeal since as far as I know she doesn't have to fo this in person - a smart lawyer could file on her behalf stating she is in fear of her life if she returns to do it herself..............look at Boss, he has been sick dozens of times while calavanting all over the F1 Circuit, so lawyers filed for him.
