astral
You will need a photocopy of your old passport to show the ID page and entry stamp, as the embassy keeps the old passport I expect they will give you a letter as well, then you can go to immigration and ask for the stamp to be trasnfered. I am not sure what will happen as you have overstayed.
visarunner
You need to transfer the stamps at Immigration. If you are on Overstay you can go Immigration only if you have a flightticket for a same day flight as Suan Plu will give you not much time to leave the country . You can also transfer the stamps at any international airport or landborder and pay the fine .
yankee-expat
What embassy wants the old passport? I'm American, they just punch ours - we keep them.
